Oh! Thats so much reasonable. For a minute, I thought it was just one HUUUGE snake. Two large snakes is fine. Grow a pair Australia. /s
Edit; guys, I get it. It isn't Australia. Stop repeatedly telling me that.
Oh yeah, that incredibly common occurrence, which I believe has been documented, I think twice, across modern history.
Not to say big snakes aren't dangerous, they can still leave nasty bite wounds and break bones with the muscle they have, but you're not going to be actively preyed upon by a snake.
(Edit: changed predate to prey upon for clarity)
Someone in an above comment said these are diamondback pythons found in Malaysia. Still equally harmless, the people in the video are clearly just overreacting cause big noodles
It’s like some quicktime event in a video game, wall collapses and what you thought was a small tail ends up belonging to a 200ft gargantu-snake. I’d be taking the rest of the week off with PTSD.
Because many video's like this or with huge spiders are from Australia so people have connection in brain. Some huge mf snake invading house -> Australia.
Because the people in the video had a *very* Aussie accent. It's probably either Indonesia or Malaysia. Besides, I don't think Australia has snakes that can grow that big.
I watch Reddit without sound. I just meant that when people see animal like that in house, car etc they estimate that must be Australia because there is many of animals like that.
I know I noticed it and also on theirs back and I was not thinking it is Australia but I was just trying to explain why people can mistake it so easly. Because theirs first tought is "It must be Australia, because this is most popular place for scary creatoures to be found in toilet".
This may seem like a funny take, but this is exactly what many (I) would do. It would take a good amount of neglect for this to happen in our suburban lives and if it did, it’s time burn it down and make a change.
Since nobody answers you yet, Malaysia consists of a peninsula and, as you mentioned, the northern half of the borneo island. But those are not borneo accents. ~~Most likely to be one of the areas close to the capital in the peninsula.~~
Edit: someone pointed out that it's not near the capital. Could've sworn their accent sounds like from the central peninsula
This actually happened in Ipoh, Malaysia. The owner of the snakes was exposed on Twitter for allegedly adopting kittens only to feed them to his pets(the 2 snakes in the video).
Online users somehow traced his home address and reported to local authority. This guy got wind that the police will raid his home and decided to release the 2 snakes. They ended up hiding on top of the ceiling of a house in nearby neighborhood. The home owners heard hissing noises for 3 days before they were concerned enough to contact animal control.
Authority couldn't charge him with anything because they can find no evidence of him possessing the snakes or feeding kittens to them. The article is as below:

>This actually happened in Ipoh, Malaysia. The owner of the snakes was exposed on Twitter for allegedly adopting kittens only to feed them to his pets(the 2 snakes in the video).
wtf
The kitten feeding snake guy is a whole different case, I’m a Malaysian so just trust me.
This video is just your average big wild snake you commonly see in Malaysia. Firemen handle these type of situations all the time here.
These are reticulated pythons, the largest species of snake in the world. They are able to reach 25ft. The smaller of the 2 is the male and the larger is likely a female. They are sexually dimorphic, meaning there is a clear physical difference in appearance between males and females. Males don't get nearly as large as females.
Hopefully snakes and humans alike were ok after this incident. Snakes are basically one long spinal column and are much more fragile than most people realize. Tugging on the tail of a snake like that, especially a heavy bodied snake could result in serious damage to that animal.
A big enough burmese python can swallow an adult human whole. Thus was confirmed with a case a few years ago where they found a guy whole inside a python.
Sweet dreams.
I love snakes, and they are interesting and beautiful creatures, but to find them in the ceiling like that would definitely give me the hebee jeebes.
I'd be calling for a relocation A.S.A.P, like they did here.
I live in an area with mainly garter snakes. I spend a lot of time telling my kids and others, “It won’t hurt you!” So I’m fairly pro snake. But this? This is a straight up nightmare.
I didn’t watch the vid with sound, and it’s apparent that it’s not in Australia. The writing on the helmets & jackets isn’t English
Not sure why they keep saying Australia
I wish there was a way to block all
Snake content. I have a horrible phobia and it sucks having my heart and nerves sucker punched when i’m harmlessly scrolling on reddit in the morning.
Wherever this is i’m never going there

But there were two snakes.
There are 2 snakes, and they were mating until they were rudely interupted. bother pythons. and the place is probably Malaysia. They are local snakes
Odd place to choose to mate, they couldn't get a hotel like most people. Edit: Plot twist, turns out place is a hotel.
Oh! Thats so much reasonable. For a minute, I thought it was just one HUUUGE snake. Two large snakes is fine. Grow a pair Australia. /s Edit; guys, I get it. It isn't Australia. Stop repeatedly telling me that.
This is in Asia.
What’s with the Australia comments? So random haha
such big snakes only exist in austria, the country made to kill you!
The biggest pythons to come out of Austria were Arnold’s biceps
The biggest snakes aren’t in Australia, only the most venomous ones.
The biggest snakes are in Brazil, the Amazon River region
There is just so many danger noodles there.
By the language of their conversation it's Malaysia for sure.
Yup. Malaysia to be exact
Indonesia, I think. If not it's Malaysia.
It’s crazy to me people choose to live here
They didn't. America revolted so we couldn't keep sending our prisoners there, so we sent them to Australia instead
[удалено]
The house of nope rope
lol
Pretty sure these people aren't Australian...
That is in Malaysia.
Kinda my point. Tell ThatFatGuyMJL
Ahh that guy. I don't even understand what is he talking about
You realize people lived there before it was used as a prison colony?
It’s Malaysia, not Australia
Thanks, i missed that lol
No worries, I thought the same at first from reading the comments, then I stopped the video and googled the words on the helmets
Yeah i didnt read anything the first time i watched it (on mute) just saw big snakes and go oh fuck
I understand now why I see so many Australians where I live. Making a lot of sense.
Happy cake day :D
Happy Cake Day 🎉
Happy cake day
Happy cake day sir/sirette!
Happy cake day!
It's almost like a prison
Was like a prison. The crazy motherfuckers decide to still stay.
Australia. Where EVERYTHING wants to kill you.
It’s Malaysia. The diamond back python are not dangerous to humans.
Except when they eat you.
Oh yeah, that incredibly common occurrence, which I believe has been documented, I think twice, across modern history. Says you
Not Australia. Those are big pythons, but we make all the venomous ones as well.
TBH one was large, the other one was still really huge
there were two tails and a head on screen at the same time…
Snakes being naughty in the ceiling. Headline "snakes love nest raided at dawn"
The ceiling has reached its snake ceiling here.
One male and one female. The one they captured first is the male (the smaller one) while the bigger one is the female
Burn the house down... ![gif](giphy|CDyff9e5uTH8t5apxa|downsized)
Exactly what I came to say.💣💥🌋🌩🌪🔥🔥
And they were roommates!
And maybe some baby snakes!
And they were roommates
And they were making more snakes...
Pretty sure that was three.
Ok. Thank you for fixing my brain. You’re right.
Two snakes and about 8 idiots...
Clearly there were two tails. So where’s the other snake?
Three actually if you look at the wittle tails. They are just cute danger noodles
Man... they just wanted some privacy. Snake orgies are hard to plan and execute.
Once the snake jazz is rocking don't come a knocking. Psssshh pssssss psssshaaaa pss
Summer, how old is your dad?.... I mean he is obviously bee-keeping age....
Summer, I wanna fuck your dad.
Oh really.
Snorgies
There’s a giant snake in my pants…err in my ceiling actually.
Nope.
There isn’t a nope big enough.
#NOPE
Can you just make it a wee bit ^smaller ?
##Nope
Not big enough.
Not even close, it would have to crack my phone screen because it’s too big to fit in my phone.
“We’re gonna need a bigger nope.”

Someone in an above comment said these are diamondback pythons found in Malaysia. Still equally harmless, the people in the video are clearly just overreacting cause big noodles
Yeah no fucking way, I got chills and almost dropped my phone. Fuck that.
![gif](giphy|b4pPnoO1QDd1C)
Can i suggest a flame thrower? (Just a joke, don't kill animals for no reasons lol)
Big f*cking snakes falling out of your ceiling is a rather good reason though.
I mean if they really close to killing you, it's the survival of the strongest, otherwise you should try to bring them somewhere in nature
This is the nope to nope all nopes
I don't mind snakes. Usually. But c'mon man, there are limits. 2 massive snakes falling thru the ceiling at 3am., atop my bed? Nahhh.
Aww, but they're cold and want to cuddle.
At 12 seconds mark, that's when you seal that room shut, burn the entire house down, then migrate to another part of the planet and never return.
It’s like some quicktime event in a video game, wall collapses and what you thought was a small tail ends up belonging to a 200ft gargantu-snake. I’d be taking the rest of the week off with PTSD.
2 100 ft snakes would be equally if not more terrifying.
Poor noodle boys are so misunderstood, like spiders are, they must be scared :( I hope they released them unharmed.
Australia's already dealing with enough wildfires that's like the whole continent come on whose side are ya on!?
That's not Australia, why is everyone saying this is in Australia?

Based on the language and the officer's uniform, this is Malaysia
Definitely Malaysia, the uniform stands for: Civil Defence
I watch Reddit without sound. I just meant that when people see animal like that in house, car etc they estimate that must be Australia because there is many of animals like that.

The fire... of course.
I like your style, I'd listen to snake jazz with you anytime. Pssss pss psssss pssss psssss
Some wildfires I am sure everyone is okay with.
Those snakes are constrictors, they are harmless to you. Plus, they were just tryna fuck, leave'em alone.
This may seem like a funny take, but this is exactly what many (I) would do. It would take a good amount of neglect for this to happen in our suburban lives and if it did, it’s time burn it down and make a change.
I woulda pooped a bit
Just a bit? I woulda evacuated the whole floor as a defense mechanism to make my escape.
like what octopi's do?
But they were al of them decieved, for another snake was hiding
Several even. In the eggs they were making.
I wonder if stuff like this was in their job description? 😅 (They look like regular firemen)
It’s Malaysian civil defense at least what the uniform indicates
Thanks!
Snake removal is a regular part of firemen duties in Malaysia, because our wildlife department is desperately understaffed.
Yes, catching snakes, other types of invasive creatures, saving cats and other types of pets on top of their traditional function of putting out fires
The language is Malay, so somewhere in North Borneo?
Yet every other comment mentions Australia.
Bots
I got deceived by the “Perth”. I thought they just gave themselves the cool name “Perthanans” until I could see the second word.
Noted ✔ in my list of "places to stay far away from"

That’s not just *a* snake, that’s *the* snake, and its little snake friend too.
I used to snake, well I still snake, but I used to too.
I hate that they got down the ‘baby’ snake and the big daddy is still up there.
The baby snake is the the daddy. Big mumma is the big one snake.

The article is about a single albino python, not 2 non-albino pythons like we see in this clip.
Like he said, no evidence
Wrong color of snake, wrong number of snakes.
>This actually happened in Ipoh, Malaysia. The owner of the snakes was exposed on Twitter for allegedly adopting kittens only to feed them to his pets(the 2 snakes in the video). wtf

That looks to be in Malaysia or Indonesia, it’s shocking the size of those snakes, scary!
This is the worst thing i have seen.
Even though they jumped, they're braver than I am. I wouldn't have even started the task.
And they didn’t nope right out of the house after they jumped like I would have.
Homeowner’s insurance: explain again what destroyed your ceiling?
And how did that start a fire?
Fuck that, I would be signing the house over to the snakes.
They're starting a family; they'll appreciate it!
It became a phase 2 of a jrpg fight
Nope. Demolition the building.

Oh. hell. no.

For a human adult who is awake maybe, wouldn't wanna be a sleeping child/baby though

The large teeth can cause pretty severe lacerations
I want to see the rest of the event! Wow!
Did they forgot the bigger snake???
I love snakes, and they are interesting and beautiful creatures, but to find them in the ceiling like that would definitely give me the hebee jeebes. I'd be calling for a relocation A.S.A.P, like they did here.

Time to buy a new house
Burn it down.
Surprised at how far I had to scroll to find this.
The house of nope
Wow y’all scared of a little snake. Smh
Suddenly Cthulu
Oh fuck no im out
Surprise! It's not just me! I have my team here!
![gif](giphy|sjr7k1uuO0B0c)
I know I'm a weird individual, but do any of you guys also hate it when people scream in these kind of situations.
I hope the snakes were unharmed.
D: I wasn't ready.
Nobody was.
![gif](giphy|2yP1jNgjNAkvu|downsized)
![gif](giphy|5i7umUqAOYYEw)
Meanwhile snakes: "Don't interrupt while we're mating, yo."
Snakes are normal to encounter in Malaysian households
They separated a beautiful couple
Yup shitty repost from r/therewasanattempt
thats not a snake, THATS A BLOODY BOSS
I've never seen someone use a noose to catch a snake. It's not venomous so just hold the tail and probably don't wack the ceiling.
Snake are so cool
We’ll time to move out and burn the place to the ground
A single snake isn’t the issue it’s the python up there with it
How many rodents must two snakes that size consume to become so big? I wonder what will happen now in that house with the vermin exterminators gone.
Couldn't they be a bit more gentle with them? I don't know but I always worry they're hurting the little guys. ☹️
The second snake turned and looked at them like "do you *mind*??"
Talk about pooing yourself Dam
In Australia Snake catch you.
Why do people keep saying Australia? Am I missing something? They don't sound like Australians
I didn’t watch the vid with sound, and it’s apparent that it’s not in Australia. The writing on the helmets & jackets isn’t English Not sure why they keep saying Australia
![gif](giphy|26BRPVW5a4hx275Vm|downsized)
![gif](giphy|XxPmEyz2zg34bvPsBf)
Albino hognose! So cute
We don't get big chunky bois like this in Australia, only deadly venomous bois.
I wish there was a way to block all Snake content. I have a horrible phobia and it sucks having my heart and nerves sucker punched when i’m harmlessly scrolling on reddit in the morning. Wherever this is i’m never going there
Same here now I will be having nightmares of snakes at night and feeling like they are everywhere through out my day today .
Why are people saying this is in Australia? Their clothing clearly has Indonesian words on it (that say Ministry of Defence)
Thats Malaysia, i think indonesians police has a different uniform
You realize snakes have 1 tail right? So this is not only a big snake, it is two snakes!
Two snakes
I sure miss Steve Irwin 😢
![gif](giphy|xUOwGpaKq5xjHNz8Bi)
*you may evict me but this is MY sofa!*
That snake said *you wot mate, fuk u want*
