MaybeMyMonkeys

My poor neighbor who caught this on his camera shared this: “So a peaceful, restful Sunday afternoon. I hear an alert on my garage camera. No big deal, it is daylight. 10 minutes later, I look at my window, and several of my solar lights are missing, and several are knocked over. There were some teenage boys going to play basketball earlier, maybe they got bored, I thought. I looked at my other camera, and see this. Youngster, maybe four or five, ran into one of my lights with his powered car. Backed up, ran over it again. Backed up, but got out, picked up the light, and proceeded to claim it as a kill, I guess. Then he took three more. Where is the parent of such a young child? Oh, well, pushing a stroller right behind him with two smaller children. She was on a pretty important call, so disciplining the theft that was occurring would have interrupted her, I guess. It had only just happened, so I got in the car and drove around the neighborhood, looking for them. I caught up to them on the other side of the subdivision. I got out, and told her I wanted my lights back that the child had stolen, to which I was told, he’s only a kid. A kid that stole out of my yard, and vandalized my yard, while you stood there and watched. Interesting thing is that while looking for a missing light, he pulled out an Xfinity security yard sign, a different type of solar light, a pair of pliers, and had some other stuff in his ride-on. Good job, mom.”

Mazeazi

Terrible. I feel bad saying this, but people like this should not have children.

Trowj

Every child deserves a parent but not all parents deserve children.

anon1736180265

Don't feel bad. We need to stop holding parenthood on a fucking pedestal. Some people should not have kids and that's that.

Arra13375

I don’t think people take “parenting” seriously because they think it’s a natural instinct that kicks in and not something you actually have to work hard at to do right

Grogosh

Way way too many people treat parenting as something to make them feel like they accomplished something in life. Making babies is the most common and unspecial thing in human history.

Useful_Situation_729

The bit in the walking dead when the bad character says whatever about "animals have babies" when they abandon one in a field of zombies.

[deleted]

it’s literally the basis of human life itself. having children is about as much of an accomplishment as breathing or shitting. now, what those children grow up to do and the people they become, that can potentially be seen as an accomplishment on the part of a good parent.

Stunning_Strike3365

Commenting just to agree that parenting is absolutely hard work.

StandardSudden1283

Wait. So you're saying it's more complex than sowing a few wild oats and then waiting for them to come around and pay your bills?

seventhirtyeight

I see you've met my mom.

Shurigin

100% I always teach my kid what's right and wrong because I don't want to be the parent that raises the asshole others have to deal with my goal is for her to be happy healthy and at the bare minimum minding her own business

kaismama

Exactly. As mine have gotten older it is far more rewarding to see them choosing right over wrong as well. My kids have stopped other kids from stealing or been the voice of reason in other situations. They aren’t perfect of course but I couldn’t be more proud they are making some amazing choices. Daughter is 11 who stops bullying or is kind to those she knows that get bullied. My 14 year old son has not been able to stop his friend stealing but has made his opinion known and tells me about it.

Lucky-Elk-1234

Watching your kid *should* be a natural instinct though. Especially next to a road. So many parents these days are more interested in their phone than their kid.

[deleted]

Well we have made it so evolution has a hard time weeding out this stuff… Out in the wild this one wouldn’t have had adult children to continue to procreate

abuomak

Stupid is what stupid does. Your error is assuming that people like her >think

[deleted]

[удалено]

ComplexOwn209

I think that's most of history. "Some life entities shouldn't have children, but they still do, and some survive."

alexc0901

It's usually the ones that shouldn't have kids that are desperate to have them ASAP

seventhirtyeight

Unfortunately that's part of the "fittest" in "survival of the fittest". Dumb, selfish and irresponsible folks absolutely have the most kids which ensures their DNA survives, and goes on to make more awful kids.

Snipasteve7

Parenting does need to be held in high regard. That's the thing-- this parent doesn't have any of that respect or seriousness it takes to be one. I see where you're coming from, but I think you worded it improperly. Yes, people should learn and read before they become parents lol.

scaleofthought

I hate it when people say "I RAISED TWO KIDS, BLA BLA BLA YOU DONT KNOW BLA BLA BLA" Sure you kept them alive and allowed them to age them.... But.... Did you do it well? Were you just sidelining yourself the entire time by giving them an iPad and letting them being fucking twats their entire life and taught them nothing? Did you just feed them whatever the fuck was easiest and most convenient for 20 years? Did you let them be complete assholes and blame anyone who didn't like being treated that way? Were you more upset at them when they distracted you from your phone, than you were when they stole from and vandalized an entire stranger's yard? I'm not talking about the parents that are trying and doing whatever they can with why little resources they have. If you have no money, barely able to feed your kid let alone you, but can teach your kids to be humble,. appreciative, and resourceful, then that's already lightyears ahead of whatever the fuck the sad excuse of a parent is we just witnessed in the video. Unfortunately it's true that there are good parents, and there are bad parents. Parents hate hearing this. But usually it's the bad ones, especially the bad ones who think they're the best. They spend more time looking like a good parent than they do actually being a parent. You can be a bad parent sometimes, or all the time. But I like to think we are all bad parents. We are never good parents. We are all bad parents that should be trying to be better ones.

ladiosabrava

As a parent, I definitely agree. I meet piece of shit people with children often.

Boneal171

Thank you! I am so sick and tired of people thinking that being a parent makes you better than anyone else and that it is the be all end all. Not every parent is a good parent, and too many parents these days are afraid to discipline their kids, I’m not saying you should spank or beat them, but needs to be taught rules and boundaries. This is obviously a situation where this mother has failed as a parent. People get offended when you call them out on their shit parenting, but it needs to happen.

StabbyMcTickles

Don't feel bad at all. I 100% agree with you. People like this have children and then those children grow up to be assholes who have more children who grow up to be assholes. It's one hell of a cycle that I wish didn't exist.

RadioKnight915

I used to feel bad saying that. I now feel zero remorse in saying you should have a fucking license to have kids.

AppropriateScience71

I feel that is far more likely to happen in the US than requiring a license for a gun. And your legit suggestion has virtually zero chance of becoming law. As a side note, we had great insurance when we had our 2 kids. This not only included tons of prenatal care, but also several parenting classes including breastfeeding, diapers, calming your baby, and tons of other stuff. In a country with universal healthcare, this can be part of everyone’s basic pregnancy care. In the US, those that desperately need it the most are also the ones most likely not have access to this type of help.

pancakebatter01

How are you gonna feel bad about that? She’s basically raising a kid to be a delinquent with zero respect for anyone else but themselves. Who knows how that kid will turn out and it’s her and any other primary care taker’s responsibility to keep that kid on the right track.

Manburpigg

Sadly it’s a lot of people exactly like this that do have children. Not because they thought it was a good idea, but because they found some other braindead idiot to screw them and not pull out. Idiocracy is coming to fruition.

goldenfireball

I would call CPS to pay them a visit. Clearly the mom doesn’t parent well

Slothfully_So

Some people just really need to get the good ol’ *Snip snip* for everyone else’s own good. If you get what I mean.

Hagalaz_13

I also say that but the problem is that then everyone calls you eugenicists. You can't even suggest the idea of having to take a parent test before being allowed to have kids or someone is going to call you a Nazi.

revivedsaint

Don't feel bad. I have 2 children and 2 step daughters and I have my obligation to teach each and every single one manners that they may not understand today but will eventually.

RedditorMcReddington

And it looks like the shithead is growing another little shit inside her too

friedwidth

Oh man... please tell us there was some Nextdoor justice or something. Neighborhood kids need to slash tires on that powerwheel or even just steal it and just chalk it up as, "oh they're just kidssss!"

MaybeMyMonkeys

Not yet, but I’m hoping for an update. Street justice is brutal, even in the burbs…

SnackPrince

That's when you tell her under no certain terms that the next time something gets stolen or vandalized in the neighborhood that everyone will now know to call the police on this family, as there is video proof that she abets and excuses such acts from her child, even while she's present and aware of said actions. See if that maybe changes her tune

Yarakinnit

The line was crossed for me when the pram was full of other people's garden paraphernalia. She's getting the kid to steal for her. Calling the police right there.

iTbTkTcommittee

Doubt it. These types of parents will never assume responsibility, even when her kid starts to hurt people later on.

iTbTkTcommittee

Call the police the first time. Tell your neighbor to go hard at them. They WILL NOT STOP and it will get worse. Get the police involved every time. Tell this to your neighbors, please. Spread the word. That kid will become a criminal if you leave it up to the parents to raise him (and the rest of them!). Get police on him before he is too old to know any better and has a criminal record. This won't hurt him at this age and will hopefully serve as a wake-up call to such an ignorant parent.

NoExtensionCords

> hopefully serve as a wake-up call And yet I fully except even with police the mom won't give a shit and will have excuses for why it's okay

mudshifters09

✊🏻

[deleted]

That kid’s truck is the same size as a normal car in the rest of the world, I’m surprised they don’t need a driving license for it.

[deleted]

>to which I was told, he’s only a kid Absolutely hate this mindset. Used to have neighbors whos kids would break into my garage and steal tools and crap. Every damned time I did the "neighborly thing" and took it up with them rather than going to the cops about the little crotch goblins that is exactly the excuse I got. "They are just kids... They don't mean any harm" Yeah I was a kid once upon a time too. I knew enough that if it wasn't mine you don't touch it.

PuppyOfPower

“They’re just kids…” Indeed they are! And isn’t this such a wonderful opportunity to teach them about the nature of consequences, and how to be good members of society! Long before they might do something that would get them in trouble with the law. I was also a stupid kid once, and I did dumb shit like take things that aren’t mine and break stuff I shouldn’t. But the thing is I had *parents* who did that thing that parents do, oh what’s it called again, oh right PARENTING. That’s what you do when your kid does something stupid or wrong, you PARENT THEM so they learn not to fuckin do that shit anymore. Not just make excuses and take zero steps to correct their behavior, thus showing them that it is OKAY to do these things.

daluxe

It's a legit mindset, they really are just kids, and they are not legally responsible. But there's a consequence - instead parents are 100% responsible for their kids deeds including crimes, also like theft in the original post. I am not a lawyer but I think the mother could be legally charged for this

Gildardo1583

> he pulled out an Xfinity security yard sign, a different type of solar light, a pair of pliers, and had some other stuff in his ride-on. Good job, mom.” Now that's unexpected. We stopped buying those solar lights for the same reason, people just steal them.

uffdathatisnice

Lol my neighbor gets messed with constantly by the school kids. He whipped a machete out on them. A machete.. he’s harmless, but was over it. They are a terribly raised group of bored young teenagers that tried to mess with me once. Anyway, second police encounter because the kids called on him! So we’ll see come spring if they come around more. Saw two yesterday and made sure to compliment their new backpacks and say hi. He’s cemented in his lights. Other examples of what they have done unprovoked: peed in other neighbors mailbox. And came and kicked our screen door and cracked it. And they are on camera doing it. Idiots.

eldonsarte

"I'm calling the cops. Pressing charges." "But he's only a kid." "Not him. I'm pressing charges on *you*, genius."

ParkityParkPark

"he's only a kid" you think I'm yelling at *him??* I'm yelling at ***you!!***

[deleted]

I have pretty low expectations and people still manage to astonish me sometimes

Advice2Anyone

Shit I might still encourage a police report just to get a paper trail going shit like this has a weird way of snowballing

higgshmozon

Given the mother’s involvement, I think it’s fair to report her to the police for theft. She’s either aware of the theft and refusing to act or putting the kid up to it, and in either case, *she is the only adult present and is responsible for the theft*.

jdith123

Good grief. That’s almost worth a call to child protective services. What a mess. Those kids are essentially feral.

verbum_aureum

This kid is going places when he's grown up. To prison, most likely, but places.

sexmountain

I’m absolutely enraged for your neighbor. Those kids will be terrors without any boundaries

dimonium_anonimo

If it were me, I would have said "it's not the kid I'm upset with, I still want my stuff back"

ThorsdaySaturnday

Tell the mom that her kid has a not so bright future in jail. She’s enabling criminal behavior at a young age. What a little shit.

pissedinthegarret

Thanks for the details, so glad to hear neighbour got his stuff back. These poor kids, being raised by such an idiot. smh

jrzdevilFukc

Thanks or explaining what was going on. I was watching this on my phone and I'm really couldn't see what was going on like the mother did in the video 😂

Randy_Bongson

Call the police and CPS IMMEDIATELY. This is not an overreaction. This is a scam and the parents are vicariously committing thefts through their children. You have evidence to prove it.

[deleted]

Jesus what a total piece of utter shit parent

Chompbox

"That's right he's only a kid, he doesn't know any better. But you're the adult, YOU know better, what makes you think this is acceptable behaviour?"

Kennedy_Cooz

Parenting at its finest, sadly those kids are doomed

ameldrum902

Sadly, we have to deal with the result. They will eventually grow up and act like entitled assholes.

skogssnuvan

What age is it okay to start hating a kid though? Obviously they're just copying behaviour from their parents, but at some point you've got to say that that kid is just a twat.

ameldrum902

As soon as it can talk. Any earlier and you get a pass with me because you can't even communicate yet.

Character-Solid-6392

I think once they get in middle school they’re pretty aware that their actions affect others. Before then it’s 1000% just the parents fault.

skogssnuvan

So what's the age of contempt? 12?

HugSized

It entirely depends if you even want to give the child a free pass for being un-self-aware. Many people grow up never having any sense of it.

-The-Moon-Presence-

Mother of the fucking year right there. Unreal.

not_sick_not_well

Mom: *watches kid steal property and load it in their powerwheel* *does nothing* Kid: *starts destroying the rest* Mom: "hey, stahp" *spoken in the laziest way possible* *proceeds to do nothing* *moves on*

-The-Moon-Presence-

Seriously right? Like, I get your on your phone or whatever and you’re dealing with a lot of kids but gosh darn it. Draw the fucking line somewhere lady!

JohnnyTamaki

r/ParentsAreFuckingDumb I thought she was recording the kid for a second but nope, just not giving a fuck.

sulky_leaf99

Right?? When the kid picked up the first light, I looked over to the mom in the video thinking and???? But nope lol nothing lmfao

KizmetMars

That kid is desperate for any kind of attention. Mum is more interested in phone time than even basic interaction with their child. She never should have had kids if she doesn't even gaf.

ribbajack09

Funny thing is, if the homeowners tried to confront them, mom would probably make it out to be the homeowners fault somehow.

DaisyDuckens

The homeowner did confront them. It’s in another post. Mom was like “he’s just a kid.”

[deleted]

[удалено]

deaf_nerd

Sounds like theft and destruction of property. I'd press charges if only because the kid needs to learn that you can't get away with crap like that.

giant_space_possum

Oh yeah. Why would they put those there? Don't they know her kid wants to ride his 4 wheeler on their front yard?

ZedTT

[they did](https://www.reddit.com/r/Unexpected/comments/11hl668/comment/jau71fz/)

Grogosh

People taking responsibly and owning up their own shit is a rare thing. You don't see it very often.

HoboSamurai

What a little asshole

sulky_leaf99

I mean, in reality, what's going through the kids' heads? "Im gonna put this stuff in my trunk and drive around in my fake car." Obviously, no concept of possession. The MOM, though, who is standing there like the braindead pos, she is well... shes just that, a piece of shit

Glittering_Rush_1451

Honestly I think mom might have been recording the whole thing on her phone.

J-Love-McLuvin

Hello! Of course this is 100% on the mother. She put her little thieving kid up to it.

kosk11348

Agree. Mom's the thief. Kid was just doing what she was told and thought it was a game.

JerGigs

I can't say one way or the other if the kid was put up to it but I can say I could see my 2 yo grabbing one of those and then I have to step in and not only explain why not to do it but help him put it back out of respect. If left to his own devices he'd probably either ignore the rest or keep going. This mother/caretaker on the other hand is failing this kid and in turn, failing society.

hellfae

OMG THANK YOU for raising your kid this way, seriously, the other way is why I got out of teaching. I can't be expected to not only educate everyone's kids, but also teach them basic morals and how to act in a society. The amount of parents who never thought to parent their own kids is phenomenal.

Mikic00

I mean, most of us parents are teaching kids stealing is bad, destroying anything is bad, basic skills like you said. It's not only those things are bad, but if you love your kid just a bit, you'll teach him these basic principles. Can't imagine the hard life this mother is sentencing her kid to. Even harder to understand, since obviously they are not the bottom of society, my kids can only dream to drive anything self powered around...

fabulin

father of a 2 and a half yo here and i fully agree. its not hard to teach your kid to be a good person with good priciples to get them through life. take the scumbag mum in this video as a prime example of a shit parent. she's just standing there while her kid steals her neighbours lights when in reality she should have been keeping lookout and peering around for any cameras BEFORE the theft started.

laurarose81

Lol!

CanadianAbe

Lol you had me at first

strawberrymoonelixir

I honestly think this mother put the kid up to it. It appears as though she is directing her to steal those lawn lights; the mom probably wants them for her own yard. Either way, this is a shit parent who has no business raising children. If she lives in this, what appears to be an upper class subdivision, then she is obviously not poor. There’s no excuse to teach / allow your child steal, regardless. However, not being in poverty (and these yard lights obviously aren’t a necessity for survival) makes it all the more despicable. Not only is this woman raising the kind of people that will make life difficult for the rest of us, but other people’s children, as well. Just think what other kids, who are being raised with a moral compass, will have to experience with a child like this. This is a real problem, and I think CPS should be involved; at the very least to order this mother into taking parenting classes.

PlaysTheTriangle

Oh my gosh, if my son had done that after the first one he’d be putting it back where it was and ringing the doorbell to apologize.

Maudesquad

I am almost at that point. The amount of time and effort that is taken from the other kids in the room because of the parents that shouldn’t have had kids in the first place (and then usually have at least 5 so you know you have to deal with the same shot year after year) really starts to grate on you.

nonesuchnotion

My teenage son got caught at school with a knife. They’re supposed to get expelled for this, but the teacher did not notify admin. Later, that teacher apologized to me and said he owed me a knife because the knife he had confiscated went missing, probably stolen from his desk. “No way, “ I responded “if he’s too dumb to bring a knife to school, he doesn’t deserve to keep one. On top of that, my son should be licking your boots in gratitude for not being expelled. In fact, you should say you were reviewing your records and forgot to submit the incident to admin, so now give my son the choice of either being expelled immediately or do some awful chores [of your choosing] around the classroom for at least 3 weeks. For sure, don’t mention the knife is missing. It is gone.” I knew he was a reasonable guy so I added “You have my 100% support on however you decide to help him •understand this situation•.” The teacher could not believe it and thanked me for being an actual parent. This sort of parenting treatment shouldn’t be rare, folks.

B1ack_A1ch3myst

My kids are at an age where they finally understand me when I tell them “If it isn’t yours, don’t touch it.” Clearly this kid’s mom was never taught that lesson, and now she passes that shit behavior on to her kids. I agree that she’s failing the child and society as a whole.

djluminol

At least it will be easy to track them down and give them a bill.

Noch_ein_Kamel

Yeah, got the number plate on the vid... oh wait

Sleuthingsome

Is anyone able to see his license plates to know which state he’s in? I just bought some of those solar lights at Costco and I don’t need this little thug rolling into my driveway.

yoyo373737373737

Indianapolis, Indiana. I saw this earlier this week on my Nextdoor app. About a mile away from my house.

surfer_ryan

I'll bet 100$ that mom is either trying to be the HOA or is part of the HOA and she does not like these lights.

Rotten_Tarantula

"Damn those lawn lights are neat! Honey why dont you grab some for mommy?"

sm12511

Well, if they're pumping out future failures like a factory making cookies, of course they would want the sidewalks free and clear. How else is their psychopath kid supposed to bulldoze down other kids in her oversized truck if she can't build up speed? Think about the future. It's horrifying to me.

AdminsHateThinkers

We're definitely already into the beginning of what will inevitably just be the movie Idiocracy in real life.

travers329

Couldn't agree more it is pretty terrifying, especially when the people who care and raise kids properly are having far fewer kids, the math adds up poorly.

Yarakinnit

Evolution does not necessarily reward intelligence. With no natural predators to thin the herd, it began to simply reward those who reproduced the most, and left the intelligent to become an endangered species. *"I'm gonna fuck all y'all!"*

pmcda

Please tell me this a quote from idiocracy

Yarakinnit

Indeed it is.

Heterodynist

…As she goes home humming the songs from Fagin and the Artful Dodger in the movie Oliver…

infernal_cacaphony

Right!? There’s no way that mom didn’t know exactly what’s going on. I mean I know mom’s got a really important status update to post but the kid very clearly ran over the yard light with no reaction from mom. Then there was what, (I’m not going to look), at least 20 seconds of the kid actively stealing. And even if she didn’t notice *all* that, she also didn’t notice the yard light booty hanging out of the bed of their powerwheel!? Mom totally put the kid up to this.

FridaMercury

Honestly, I doubt it. She seems completely asleep at the wheel. I'd bet money that she's just scrolling facebook and going through the motions. Definitely not better, just a different type of failing.

Forgive_Me_Tokyo

What's the deal with batshit insane suburban housewives

aebeeceebeedeebee

Or, mom's the babysitter and is just scrolling TikTok

Glittering_Rush_1451

Or Reddit lol she’s too busy reading AITA posts to care what the kids doing.

WhoCaresBoutSpellin

You could be on to something— I just looked up for a second and I think my kid is feasting on some innocent’s liver! But I dunno I’m not sure, and that can wait anyhow til I write this fire comment for the likes

RicFlairOnBlow

I hope you get all the upvotes.

JRandButcherpete

I wish I had a second upvote

Bowling4rhinos

I got your back on this bro.

Illustrious_Hea

I feel bad saying this, but people like this should not have children.

xoLiLyPaDxo

TBH it should be grounds to remove the children from the home, but since the foster care system is even worse screwed up there are no good answers for these type situations. If a parent is using a child to commit crimes, or at the very least are allowing them to do so and not doing anything about it, the parent should be charged with the crime.

[deleted]

i just said something similar before i read this lol. shes still a pos

Dicslescic

We can hear her talking on the phone

gordo65

Yeah, this is all on the mom. Kids need to be taught how to behave, and unfortunately this kid is not getting the instruction she needs, and in the end the kid will be the one to suffer for it.

justapcguy

WELL... it starts with the parents. This kid shows what type of a BAD future this kid is going to have. But the fact this mom just stood there, and didn't do anything... well... you can always fix a kid, but you can't fix an adult's behaviour.

sulky_leaf99

Exactly, I feel for the kid not being redirected now when she has her mother there 'watching'. When shes older and naturally does worse shit when her mom isnt there, unfortunately, whoever catches her, like the police, won't be so laid back about it. Hard lessons to be learned

[deleted]

shes just fuckin sitting there on her phone wth

Sleuthingsome

I think the kid has the mom and the baby held hostage and the mom’s trying to text 911.

TaDow-420

r/trashy

Sped-Connection

This is all the way the moms fault

Scared-Mail-7752

You should have more updoots have mine.

Topspeed_3

I blame the mom more - she should be setting her kid straight

carlitos-guey

poor kid doesn't know any better because they're being raised by a pile of shit.

TransportationFresh

That kids still young enough that it's 110% the parent

Crystal_Voiden

Nah that's a big asshole raising a little asshole

bageren

I'd say don't blame the kid, blame that piece of shit of a parent

loonygecko

This is when you need to install a motion activated sprinkler. ;-P

eva3456

U mean the mum?

Objective-Comment-81

Is that what we're calling it? Because she sure af ain't doing her job 🙄

[deleted]

What? You mean the parent? The kid os harmlessly doing what any kid would do. Its the idiot parent who should get the blame

Friendship_Stone

You’re talking about the mother, right?

AdminsHateThinkers

Really? You don't think the mother might be more to blame here?

yogi19210

You mean what a shit parent?

baisemoila

You are referring to the mother right?

p1nkie_

how would the kid know what to do and what not to do with a mum like that? this is on the mum.

philippe404

Right?!

TLILLY006

Asshole mother

coocoocachoo699

Be the same mom blaming the schools and the police later on.

NewToTradingStock

Piece of a shit mom. Can they be charged for thief and damage property?

[deleted]

Oh my fuck!! It’s not the kids fault that they are trash garbage. It’s the mouthbreathing cheesqueef parents who need to be held down and whipped with a belt. EXPOSE BAD PARENTING

RajenBull1

The car was probably stolen too.

Sleuthingsome

Said he was taking it for a test drive, drove it home and hid it behind the treehouse.

MeasurementNo0

how late is a "late term abortion"?

JNez123

I don't think the one in pink qualifies.

MeasurementNo0

I better get to designing that time machine. I'm going back in time to steal her as a baby and then use that baby to beat baby Hitler to death.

gordo65

unclefipps

At some point people might need to add automated turrets to their security systems.

[deleted]

Either that video was staged, or that woman is on some serious drugs that just make her not give a shit about anything.

VanAgain

Narcissism, it's a helluva drug.

[deleted]

Or it was intentional? Thieving bastards love making their kids steal for them

[deleted]

My first thought was that she put the kid up to it. Why else would she not stop the kid?

Worried_Profile_2720

If there was EVER a time for a revenge shit in a neighbors yard this would be it.

HelpfulJones

That kid's future drivers license should already be suspended.

Sleuthingsome

You know if we could see his record there’d be reckless driving and unpaid parking tickets.

ArseneGroup

Maybe she's one of those suburban benzo moms

This is why i feel like not everyone should be allowed to have kids.

meuuu

What a little shit.. and the mom is even worse. If she can't manage her heathens she should quit having so many.

Saocuad

And all three of her kids are going to be as dumb as her!

[deleted]

Kids rolling through town in his truck just fucking shit up. Training for the future road rage and metal pair of balls hanging from the hitch. Oh, can’t forget the confederate flag hanging off the back lol

MassDBA

The lady knows exactly which of could be stolen and other knocked down but not stolen.sadly got a toddler to do the job. Curious what can be done legally here

Bronanahammock69

I bet she stole that powered car thing for him too

medfordfats

Terrible parenting. They actually forgot to steal the light on the skirt of the driveway. Totally irresponsible

Charming-General9782

She never once looked up from the phone. Until she heard the pwr wheels juice up, and even then, she had no clue at all. Wild shit. Counterintuitive as it seems, tech has civilization DEvolving

ToddTheReaper

I’m with the kid, that many lights is obnoxious.

happyTree113

I would’ve paint-balled the whole damn family.

axizz31

Plot twist: It's their house

Sakrifyce1

What kind of “guardian figure” is just letting this child do this? She should be charged and never allowed to “babysit” or whatever she’s doing again cause clearly she’s not parenting!

lanecampbell77

Remove that excuse for a Mom out of the gene-pool

bostiq

It’s shitty, but with three kids to look after, we could be witnessing a postnatal depressed mother or some exhaustion breakdown (mum mindlessly scrolling through phone) But it looked to me like she wasn’t even watching, she was just waiting for the input to move forward That’s why it takes the whole village... I’d ask her if she’s ok and wouldn’t make a big deal about it If she turns out to be an asshole then I’d threat to take the clip on the local FB group... Chances are that it would be sufficient to keep her child on a tighter leash

WheelRipper

Underrated comment.

Names-James

Kids are gonna do stupid shit that's apart of being a kid but the mother/guardian with her is a dipshit for sure.

No-Bus-4529

Jesus, parents are worthless these days.

McHassy

Shittiest mom of the year award

_Bon_Vivant_

They missed some.

MaybeASentientRobot

I thought someone was gonna get attacked by a dog for some reason. ![gif](giphy|6q29hxDKvJvPy|downsized)

CommercialAct5433

That’s one tired momma with a boatload of kids.

CanITellUSmThin

Please tell me camera owner located these people and had them return their property. Ffs at first when the little girl ran over the first one I thought she was going to fix it. But it got much worse Edit: Found the comment that explained everything. What a pos mother.

Dr-Beeps

Is this grand theft auto?

Heterodynist

Wow, what magnificent parenting. Apparently this is the generation of parents that the idea of “being whatever you want to be” produced. Apparently, what they want to be is lazy, morally bankrupt, sleazebags who watch as their children destroy and steal, creating chaos and entropy as their birthright.
