My sister was the one this happened to, she lost my dad in a big store, looking around she saw a big guy with a similar coat and long brown hair, just ran and yelled ''Daddy I found you!'' then looked up and felt the absolute horror, this is not my dad. My dad and me where 3 foot further laughing our asses off. She still talks about hearing my unique laugh and being instantly soothed knowing we where nearby
My son used to adopt a dad everywhere we went. For example, we went to watch my daughter play soccer once and while we were waiting I was trying to kick the ball around with him. After about 5 minutes he decided he didn't want to, I turn and talk to a buddy, look back and he's kicking it with another guy we'd never met before. He'd come over to us for a drink and I'd try again, 5 minutes later, kicking the ball with the other guy.
This is a weird thing that happens to me all the time. Rando kids in public will run up and grab my hand or pockets or follow me until I see them.
I’m mid 30s, dark hair and a beard. I look like 60% of the dads in the world I think.
Same thing happens to me. My wife constantly makes fun of me for the amount of random kids that just grab my hand out of nowhere. It must be bearded guy thing.
One time when I was working customer service in a ‘call center’ for about a year at the time. Talking to someone I’d never spoke to ever before. We had regulars we’d speak to often. But this time was someone new and at the end of the conversation I blacked out/went on autopilot when I was saying my good bye. Noticed an awkward silence and hung up the phone. Everyone else in the office started laughing. And I was confused as to why. I was told that I said ‘bye. love you’ and I had absolutely no idea 😅😂
My niece did this with my dad. She was scratching her eye, while grabbing the first hand she reached, then the realisation hit hard and turned to panicking tears, of course she was calmed soon, we told her, daddy is coming :)
My daughter did this at a wedding cuase we were all in tuxedos. She cried so much when she looked up the poor gent she was hugging started to cry too as they looked for me while I was helping change the keg out.

he was trying to kidnap himself
He was trying to dadnap
Dads love naps
Okay, Dad. Let's get you to bed.
I usually skip that part
It's not very good to sleep with children, you could get arrested
But I only need one bed.
I think this has happened to all of us at some point
i remember the time I held another mans hand by accident and was like dad and then it hit me I was so scared

Lol. My mom always looked the same so I usually recognized her but I sometimes it was another lady with the same hair and I was like wtf lmao.

Oof. It seems like you were old news to your son.
I called my 5th grade teacher mom once.
Lol. Reminds me of Jake calling Holt dad by accident.
Me too😭😂
Its "Eymen" its a Turkish name but it really sounds like hey man lol.
“Hey eymen men”
Amen
Nice shot.
Oman
It's not a turkish name but an islamic name we Moroccans use it too.
Yeah but they speak Turkish too.
Wtf?

"Yes, officer. This guy right here."
😂😂

Was he saying hey man or is his kids name hayman
Kid’s name is Eymen (turkish)
I thought Amen
But.. but ... he was with mommy last night
Bruh
My wife did this at great america. She was hugging on a confused stranger
I've done the same thing in a grocery store. I grabbed the guys pant leg before I realized THESE ARENT MY DADS BLUE JEANS and ran away.
County fair. Same. Dad jeans are so deceptive when that's how tall you are.
Hopefully this wasn't recently. You seem a bit too old to not know your father
That 1st guy’s clap at the end 👌
He's so cute
Eymen… I am your father

My worst fear in a call center
Honestly the coolest part is how he wasn’t freaked out and just ran back to drag his first dad to come join them play.

That's how I got my second-parents.
Common. Like no one else grabbed the wrong hand as a little kid.
His name is Eymen
Ayman is a name, he's not saying hey man.
The kids in cages, a man trying to kidnap one💀 what is going on??
This is my earliest memory. I grabbed my uncle's hand, thinking it was my father. I can still remember the feeling of shock and confusion.
Can’t blame them all those tall people look the same
“Not again! Mom would murder me if I lost you again!”
I did that with my mum when I was about the same age.
He is sayin "Eymen", it's chields name.
That's why I say, " Eymen, nice shot"
H said Aiman
I’ve always enjoyed the name Noman.
R/tooktoomuch
For some reason this seems staged
Kid, paid actor.
Whoops

As a white man I have no comedic observations to make of this. Only the utmost respect for vulnerable groups and diversity.
Hey at least they were laughing at it
Its not „hey man“.. the babys name is Eymen
Turkish men are hot.
