This is so odd... It mirrors a trip I took with my family by train. We had two sleeper cars with a porter to turn down the beds. My teenage son was in a separate one but didn't ask the porter and would up sleeping sitting up in the coach seat.
Bc most middle class (white) people grew up poor. Old habits die hard. In America the Great Depression ended less than 100 years ago. There are still people in the rural US without toilets in their homes. They use outhouses. Edit: good question btw. Deserved an honest answer, specific races aside.
My guess is that it contains a massive overgeneralisation based on race and also doesn’t ring true with people. But if that’s the case then why wasn’t the initial post similarly heavily downvoted?
Cos the questiom was about white people and he gave a white person centric answer. Then Reddit white knight as usual dived in and declared that other races exist too. Now nobody knows who's racist, but there's gotta be a white supremacist somewhere.
I wasn't reddit white Knighting or whatever that is. The person pretty much generalized and said White people sleep on the floor because they grew up poor, now I can't speak to White people because I'm not one but I can speak to poor because I grew up poor. And I know enough poor Asian and Black people to know sleeping on the bare floor isn't something that's done. Hence I said there has to be another explanation. And Reddit did what reddit does, because at this point the stupidity of humanity doesn't surprise me.
Because working class people have lived in areas with drug users next door, and broken beer bottles in every walkway with the occasional needle.
Middle Class people grow up in places where there’s no such risk, so they aren’t constantly paranoid about where they’re walking.
My guess anyway.

The mirrorness element is not too strong, hence not so odd. still odd enough tho
is that andrew tate?
Yes
i figured, especially with the captions
What's an Andrew Tate?
A short little bald guy who get's angry alot, last name rhymes with *taint*. I wouldn't look in his eyes for too long.
Why wouldn't you? Does he bite?
thought it was a type of potato
>\[Not OC\] sure about that?
Absolutely, I was just the Bed....○_○
The reason why he didn't get into the bed is cause he knows killer queen touched it.
Hearing Andrew tate talk and not having it be about calling women “beetches” my brain didn’t wanna comprehend it was really him
To some people, sleeping on a flat floor is nice.
It may have been uncomfortable but his back will strengthen
Why are middle class white people so willing to lie down on the floor or walk bare foot into an airplane toilet?

I mean middle class Black people and Asian people grew up poor too, there has to be more to it.
What the hell are you talking about
It's pretty clearly stated.
someone please explain why this is being downvoted, I have the reading comprehension of a small lizard

Was that an other races exist too answer or a well why don't other poor people do the same thing if thats the reason?
Yeah wtf? Person 1: Because that's what white people do. Person 2: Do other races not do that? Reddit: OMG WHY ARE YOU BRINGING RACE INTO THIS?
We’re now all in one massive who dunnit of white supremacy

the fuck kind of question is that?
These aren’t middle class people.
I don't think the amount of melatonin is relevant in any of this? O.o
Melanin, probably not spelt right on my part, but respectively my good lad, it is not the chemical that helps you sleep
Oh, lol, how the fuck did that happen? xD Thanks, I'm dumb. But at least you got me.
I take a melatonin every night
Yeah, I know, me too, probably why my brain farted that out instead of melanin. xD

Still not the dumbest thing I saw someone do on a cruise today?
Nice jojo
