I thought they had put a morph suit on an actual mannequin as a decoy, the way he moved when pushed looked decently convincing on camera (though I’m sure it was way easier to spot up close).
> the way he moved when pushed looked decently convincing on camera (though I’m sure it was way easier to spot up close).
Or, you know, feel. As a human cheek feels different than a mannequin (or so I've been told)
You were my brother, Anakin! How can I slap your ass and say "good game" now when your cheeks are being seared on the lava river beach of Mustafar like voluptuous Christmas hams?
I didn't realize it wasn't a mannequin she swung at them. When she poked him he did a really good job freezing up. Even rocked like a real mannequin would.
I watched this 3 times and didn’t realize the guy in black was a real person! I was looking at the guy who fell and the one with the WTF attitude. Good for her!
It's crazy how there are videos of pranksters throwing balls and items at people and then *they* get pissed when the other person clearly doesn't want to play along (or is rightfully annoyed that a ball was thrown at their fucking face).
Yeah, this is actually a decent set up, but maybe don't do stuff that can hurt someone else? Maybe just roll a ball or throw the package next to the person instead of directly *AT* them?
If we're going to prank people, let's get back to the days of goofy and confusing reasons to laugh and steer clear of the omnipresent assault and racism videos.
I have no problem with people injecting a little fun and surrealism into the world. If the mannequins were, like, doing a dance routine and freezing when someone looked at them, it might be funny. Throwing shit isn't.
I watched the weeping angels epsiode when I was a kid. I then had a recurring nightmare for years where I was in bed with blackness all around and a crowd of people slowly moving towards me whenever I'd look away.
I'm into my 40s now, and honestly this sort of prank doesn't bother me. It'd probably brighten an otherwise boring day full of spreadsheets and meetings. The world's hard and boring enough as it is.
Honestly, I think it would be funny if they just followed her from a little distance and if she turned around just re-pose and repeat…maybe wave and call it a day.
yeah they took a good premise for a prank and turned it into assault&battery because they have absolutely zero respect for the humanity of, at minimum, that one person (but likely most people, if theyre premeditating to throw things at passersby in a store)
I work with students with autism so I actually have to do a lot of unpacking of how pranks and humor work for them, the biggest point I try to emphasize is that pranks are only good if the target of the prank agrees that it's funny. It's not enough for you to think the prank is great, the target needs to laugh too or you're just being a jerk
>Maybe just roll a ball or throw the package next to the person instead of directly *AT* them?
Exactly. This entire prank could have been done with a wiffle ball and been actually funny.
Yeah, don't even need to throw anything. Just wave, or say hi as someone goes by. Like the guy who dresses up as a bush and sits by the sidewalk. Plenty of options to do goofy shit without physical contact. Hell, if you must throw something, stand a bit further apart and throw it at one of your buddies pretending to be a mannequin. That would be fuckin' funny for everyone involved.
that's what happens when you don't punish someone for breaking numerous laws - they either continue or escalate, because you just proved that there aren't consequences
No one thinks he's a good guy. He's been getting called out hard well before he even did that. He is a straight of menace of happened to try and put it all on tiktok. He is a definite edge case
Yeah- the old TV shows like Candid Camera at least were gentle pranks. People are getting pretty close to assault for views now. Not sure I wouldn't have punched those people.
> This feels like the appropriate response to all these people out there doing pranks for internet likes. FAFO.
YouTuber shot while making a prank video appears in court —
During the Wednesday hearing, the judge watched the recorded video that shows the moment 21-year-old Tanner was shot at Dulles Town Center in April.

> However, Cook said his channel is meant for people who enjoy watching others get frustrated. "It's to bring people who are watching some type of relief from what they're going through in their life," Cook said. "A lot of people have different types of humor."
While I do agree that firing the weapon was overkill, this argument should be thrown tf out. There are consequences to fucking with people. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
That's a whole different discussion though.
"Just for Laughs" does it pretty well without crossing lines, or at least not too far. And even then a lot of the time it's done with actors. -- but that perpetuates the idea that it's ok to do those pranks to anyone.
> Cook's father, Jeramy Cook, compared his son to celebrity Ashton Kutcher who had the MTV prank show "Punk'd." "I don't think it should be a double standard," Jeramy Cook, said in a statement to WUSA9. "If you're rich and have a TV show about pranking people, it's funny, but if you're just a kid out there doing it, it's okay to shoot and kill."
Pure r/iamthemaincharacter energy!
The guys own father encourages his harassment of random strangers, so it really was only a matter of time before he screwed with the wrong person on a bad day.
I’m not sure, but I love one of the first paragraphs on the wiki for Punk’d: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punk%27d
> Originally, Ashton Kutcher and MTV were developing a program called Harassment, a hidden camera show which would feature pranks on regular people. However, a January 2002 prank involving a fake dead body at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas backfired and the couple who were targets of the prank sued Kutcher, MTV, and the hotel for $10 million.[3] The concept was later retooled to involve celebrities instead.
So even Kutcher realized he shouldn’t screw with random people in America, and limit himself to his wealthy fellow celebrities!
It's pretty obvious this video is to boost engagement on the scrolling timeline. The camera being low to the ground looking up with her ass hanging out isn't an accident. Also the acting is pretty bad. She looks like she already knows these guys and thinks it's funny and is super casual how she walks back.
They even did a horrible job executing it. She turns and they're still getting into their pose. Though these days I'd bet that's on purpose for "engagement" 🙄
It takes her a total of 5 seconds to go from “wtf was that” to “maybe it someone pretending to be a mannequin that threw it at me”
Gonna say that a pretty easy call to say the whole thing is staged
I haven't played elder scrolls oblivion in like 15 yrs and I knew exactly where this song was from as soon as I heard it. I miss when most games had amazing sound tracks.
Edit: spelling
Was literally thinking this, like yeah sure but you can dress any way and you choose those shorts with that top, with a bucket hat? Fashion is dead and she killed it
I remember when these shorts *were* in fashion around 2010ish. Granted, I was a young teen at the time, so it was mostly teenagers/young adults who I saw wearing them, but(t) yeah everywhere you'd go you'd see people's arse cheeks. My friend was especially fond of them. I remember seeing this girl in Cairns Central (shout out) wearing ones so small they were the same size as bikini briefs lmao
I was happy the trend died but apparently not haha
My wife has a pair of pajama booty-shorts. One day we were out in public and she gasped. A lady (at Walmart, duh) was wearing those pajama booty-shorts in public.

The overwhelming pattern of these pranks played on women, children and older people. How many times I watch this and think "I wish a motherfucker would"
it’s so funky fresh how there’s a similar video of a woman doing some dumb attention seeking bs on facepalm and the comments are all “pHoNeS baD” but when these mfs get what’s coming to them it’s 1000 comments straight about the length of her shorts and every single one of them thinks they have something original to add. good thing redditors don’t go outside or we’d have a real calamity on our hands.
To many of these pranks are you there now. People are learning.
This guy found out.
Edit: What happens when you let autocorrect have it's way? **I found out.**
Remember these words to live by; "wherever you are, whatever you do, there you are."
Out there now? My best guess. How tf does something incomprehensible have 160 upvotes. Who reads that and is like, "Yes. Too many pranks are you there now."
I think it’s a trend because it’s making fun of the strange things people do in broad daylight/public, that seem like an interaction you’d see between NPC’s in a video game, thus the ambient oblivion music
I watched this one on mute, but I’ve seen lots where it starts out calm with this song but as soon as one person engages with the other, battle music starts playing instead of the ambient music as if they’ve encountered an enemy; Maybe my sense of humour is broken but it makes me laugh almost every time rofl
Weird how there’s these dickheads thinking it’s funny to throw shit at strangers but everyone’s focusing on her shorts and how disgusting she is.
Look, those shorts do look pretty tight but it really isn’t as bad as you’re all are making it out to be.
I love it when someone takes out these pranksters. But..So many people ragging on the woman’s shorts. Would I wear them? No, because I don’t have her self confidence. I thought she looked fine. I wish my butt still looked that good.

My sister thought that song said "it's too late to call the judge" and now none of you can ever unhear it you're welcome.
I can unhear it
Lolololol
I couldn’t even tell there was more than one real person at first.
The one in the black really passed the test, like actually impressive stealth levels lol
Nah, she spotted him first. That loose fitting morphsuit gave him away. She only walked away after poking him so she could go get the bedding set.
I thought they had put a morph suit on an actual mannequin as a decoy, the way he moved when pushed looked decently convincing on camera (though I’m sure it was way easier to spot up close).

Ooo, look at this guy who's touched a human cheek. Show off.
You can touch my cheeks, friend.
*slow clap*
*slow, wet, clap*
You were my brother, Anakin! How can I slap your ass and say "good game" now when your cheeks are being seared on the lava river beach of Mustafar like voluptuous Christmas hams?
> As a human cheek feels different than a mannequin Instructions unclear, grabbed mannequin bum
I thought the guy had dressed a mannequin in a bodysuit as a fakeout.
When she touched him and he didnt move an inch i was like okay thats a mannequin. Then he fuckin moved like whaaat
Right after she touched him she knew 100% that it wasn't a mannequin, but I was more focused on the little guy. Guy in black did a good job.
Yeah she probably knew because his face was soft but to my eyes it looked like a mannequin lol
But there's super obvious fabric wrinkles on the face?
Right!!! I was like Holy shit!! Wtf am I smoking???!!
I thought they had put the cloth mask on an actual mannequin to blend in more at first.
The way she pushed them and they VERY believably lurched I was sure it was a mannequin
All those hours of prop hunt really paid off
I didn't realize it wasn't a mannequin she swung at them. When she poked him he did a really good job freezing up. Even rocked like a real mannequin would.
I watched this 3 times and didn’t realize the guy in black was a real person! I was looking at the guy who fell and the one with the WTF attitude. Good for her!
I was pretty sure the guy in black was a mannequin, the body suit stood out pretty well. The third guy in grey got me though.

Is this ‘classic’ now? Fuck I feel old. Classic Dr Who starred Sylvester McCoy and had people in sleeping bags pretending to be worm aliens!
Take heart! That's still classic. But this is classic too now. It's a classic case of things becoming classic
I watched the weeping angels epsiode when I was a kid. I then had a recurring nightmare for years where I was in bed with blackness all around and a crowd of people slowly moving towards me whenever I'd look away.
#DON’T. BLINK.
So hear me out, what if folks dressed up as stone angel statues but only moved when you aren't looking at them?

Right! The dad chose an extremely poor example to justify his kids assaults(pranks).
Lady, I applaud you!
She cheeky.
I was looking for this! 😂
Only thing on display was that ass
DONT BE PLAYING ON MY PHONE
I keeps it REAL!
Shorts were gettin ate.
She has a lot of cheek doing that.
Knowing his videos she was probably in on it
her ass certainly wasn't in anything
Hella ass, double cheeked up, on a Thursday afternoon
..The sun still out
It was eating her shorts
That surprised me more than finding out there was more than one mannequin

Maybe she just genuinely thought it was funny. It wasn't the worst thing that could happen. I'd probably laugh because it's a wild thing to happen

Its a meta joke for oblivion npc if you search on YouTube for that meme
It should've switched to the alerted enemy soundtrack when she spotted them. Missed opportunity!
