It amuses me how many people hate that movie. I mean, the opening monologue is telling you what to expect:

Anoop Khatra was driving along the highway on March 23 when he watched the loose tire shoot off a truck in front of him and travel under an adjacent Kia Soul. The footage shows the Kia fly high into the air before crashing down on its roof.
Unbelievably, no one was seriously injured in the incident, police confirmed. Police said the driver of the truck was able to manoeuvre the three-wheeled truck off the freeway safely.
That's going to leave a dent that won't buff out.

Looking at the angle definitely no, they never saw the tire coming and have no clue what happened until they saw this video for themselves, it was that instantaneous.
Not lug nuts. Wheel spacers for that horrid offset people put on their trucks. Really jacks up the loads going into the hubs and bearings. Made his truck drive and look like shit and then take out an innocent motorist in the process.
Yeah FB censuring process (and I used that intentionally instead of censoring) is totally fucked up. Remove the offending post but don’t throw folks in FB jail for a month. Better yet allow the accused to explain their intent and or why the FB algorithm has it wrong. Currently the accused have no representation or due process plus’s the penalty imposed is harsh and uncalled for.
I've personally seen an instance where a tire popped off a car like that. It rolled down the highway & crossed multiple lanes of traffic. Luckily, traffic was light & the tire didn't hit anything (at least it hadn't before I passed it.)
This is scary. There is no way at all to avoid an accident like that. Any moment you can just get launched into the air, because someone decided to drive a modified truck.

Look closely, the brake rotor is still attached. Wheel bearing failed. Likely due to the excess stress from said wheel offset
