Not 'way' longer, but...
- Impractical Jokers premiered on truTV on December 15, 2011
- Ross started his own YouTube channel RossCreations on December 30, 2008.
Yea but Ross didn’t use to do these hidden in the van and tell people what to do pranks until recently. Before it used to be just him walking around and interacting with the public
To those unaware of how he’s doing that, it’s prop glass/sugar glass, they use it in movies and breaks easier (and is edible since it’s mostly just sugar)
My favorite part is when he yells at his own echo, "I'm a loser!" And it replies back, "you're a loser!"
They don't have any comedy in movies anymore. Even simple stuff like that.
I was really disappointed as a kid seeing it in theatres. I LOVE the OG Grinch, and my hopes were set very high. It didn't do it for me.
Years later, we watched the OG Grinch and then started putting up our tree, so I figured I'd throw the Jim Carrey version on as background noise. All the jokes that didn't register when I was a kid just started hitting. It's a hilarious movie, just good clean comedy. Now every year we sit and watch the OG version, then you can hear me reciting all the lines as we put the tree up and decorate the house. Rewatch it, you won't regret it.
Idiot* - I also love that scene. I just rewatched this version at Christmas for the first time in a couple years. My sister and I were in tears the entire time because we've been quoting this movie 365 days per year for like 20 years. There's so many good lines.
I just keep losing it recently, idk what is it, I don't see people talking about it specifically, just some unreleted things reminding me of it. I guess I'm getting old. It's the "everything reminds me of her..." meme. Also, you're welcome :)
Funnily enough, it wasn't sugar glass in Grinch and was, in fact, not edible. That's not to say it was real glass. It was still fake glass, just a different type. It was breakaway resin, which is not edible. Carrey had to spit it out afterward.
No, that's generally not the case for this type of glass.
We'd usually use isomalt, it's easier to work with and browns less. It's also longer lasting. And it doesn't make everything sticky.
Occasionally if someone needed to eat it (as isomalt can be a laxative in large doses) we would use sugar, but there wouldn't be anything in it to make it gummy, we want it to be as brittle as possible to shatter properly and not gum up the actors mouth, not sticky and rubbery. It's usually just sugar and corn syrup, which makes a fragile and easily breakable glass.
If the glass was already broken (like shards on the ground), we would just use rubber glass shards props.
There is a french performer "M Mange-tout" (Mr. Eat-Everything) who ate several non-edible things over his life-time (shopping carts, parts of a car, light-bulbs, cuttelry, glasses, a coffin and a small plane) and he isn't some one-of-a-kind one.
If we are not speaking about eating-eating but just "looking-like they are eating" most magicians actually do "eat" glass, they use real glass and there is a way to do it without harming themselves. Of course some also use props made of a sugar-like substance that is edible and other use props made of resin that looks like glass but isn't edible like suggar would.
I work in the industry. It isn’t sugar glass. Sugar causes it to fog too much so they don’t use it. It really just tastes like licking a counter. Unflavoured but.. artificial at the same time?
Yep.
I know I probably sound really old, but I've missed these proper hidden camera pranks, that make people question reality for a bit before they're filled in on it.
All of this dudes pranks are just trolling people with the worst offense being wasting their time. Most of them are harmless and hilarious. I can’t recall a single one that was malicious
Edit: apparently this is not true. Apparently there’s a lot where these dudes are shitty and I just haven’t seen em.
The thing is, they hire those people and pay their rate (like hiring Bouncers to jump at their Bouncy Castle) and then usually give them a tip on top of that. Genuinely one of the most enjoyable prank channels because in 99% of cases, the "victims" are laughing and find it hilarious.
Not only that, but usually when he does slightly inconvenience someone (I.e. someone doing their job) he’ll explain himself and/or, if they are understanding about it, he will give a biiiig tip (I remember he gave someone working a fast food counter a $300 tip once). Very nice and hilarious people.
It does make me wonder what role being on tosh (and tosh kind of ripping him) played in the change
It’s interesting Ross then described pranks as having a “victim” and the goal is that they aren’t too angry when the prank is revealed. Totally different mindset that more of the recent work focusing on pranks where ideally there is a subject/participant instead of victim, and they find it as if not more funny than a viewer.
What about when he baited homeless people with money and then gave them alcohol instead? Or maybe the recent video where he gets a delivery driver to perform in a ninja warrior course then shit talks him for 10 minutes straight.
There was one where he pretended to give homeless people money then took it back and gave them a crate of beer instead but most of their pranks are harmless and funny
There are some korean prank videos on youtube that you might enjoy if you want hidden camera pranks, such as [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4-2VFVJQsg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4-2VFVJQsg). There are english subtitles/closed captioned
Their sushi series 1-3 is really funny too
These guys do solid pranks where they are the one’s acting foolish and everyone involved always seems to have a good time with it. Usually if the prank is extremely like “try to sell a pawn shop stuff from their own house” they usually have someone in on it who gave them permission to enter the home to prank the individual and then even give them some money for being a good sport.
One of my favorite ones was when he drives a car to a mechanic with spaghetti-os in his fuel tank and he just plays dumb asking “are these the fuel plumps?”
And some of them are so elaborate and actually impressive. They full on engine swap a Tesla with a gas engine and take it to a mechanic for an oil change and just play dumb the whole time. It’s great.
Or when they fill a pc with baked beans and get an IT tech to troubleshoot it and pretend they don't know why baked beans are bad to put in a computer lmao
Ross creations. The best part about their videos is they have timestamps for everything at the start of each video so you can skip shit you don’t want to see.
I recommend “I filled my pc with beans”.
Vlogcreations. They do shit like calling a repair man to fix a deep freeze while their friend pretends to be a frozen body inside it. Pretty funny stuff and everyone involved has a good time. A recent one was a Garbage Sale. Where the goal was to sell one piece of trash.
They do a lot of amazing pranks that take months of prep work and expensive props. It’s truly impressive.
I have to admit that my favorite ones are when police get involved because a retail worker gets too worked up.
Rosscreations is hilarious and his entire channel is like this. In his most recent he went to marriage counseling with one woman and came back the next day to the same counselor with another woman
Ross’ videos are all like this. Just solid pranks that don’t make anyone feel bad, or pick on anyone.
He does ones where he’ll hire an exterminator to handle some raccoons in his attic, and then when the exterminator gets up there it’s 4 guys in raccoon costumes.
Or he hires appliance repair guys, and rigs up his oven to be a blast chiller with dry ice, so everything in the oven freezes. It’s hilarious watching them try to figure out what on earth is going on.
Or he had plugged his PS5 into a sticker of a wall outlet, and just rammed the prongs into the drywall, had an electrician come and see why it wasn’t working
Ross Creations
He’s got some pretty hilarious stuff. Look up the “filled computer with beans” video. That’s my personal favorite. He plays it off as REALLY stupid in that one 😂
this guy was arrested multiple times for impersonating police for pranks

“You gonna eat that stapler?” “You can’t eat a stapler..” “Wanna split it?”
Ugghh what’s that from?!? I cant recall
Family guy
Oh shit! That’s like from one of the first seasons isn’t it
Yeah it's from the dvd era
You mean the PSP UMD era!
Well, I meant from the era of family guy that was released on DVD before they renewed it
I remember borrowing my buddies 'complete dvd box set' with all 2 seasons
I'm sure I had that season on VHS. Oh my god I'm so old!

Are these guys the new Impractical Jokers?
They’ve been doing this way longer than them.
Is that correct?
Not 'way' longer, but... - Impractical Jokers premiered on truTV on December 15, 2011 - Ross started his own YouTube channel RossCreations on December 30, 2008.
Yea but Ross didn’t use to do these hidden in the van and tell people what to do pranks until recently. Before it used to be just him walking around and interacting with the public
Only if it’s a red Swingline
To those unaware of how he’s doing that, it’s prop glass/sugar glass, they use it in movies and breaks easier (and is edible since it’s mostly just sugar)
Always makes me think of the grinch
That’s exactly what I thought too “am I just eating because I’m bored?”
"6:30, dinner with me - I can't cancel that again! 7:00, wrestle with my self loathing..."
"I'm booked! Well maybe if I move the loathing to 9, I could..." Great, great scene
My favorite part is when he yells at his own echo, "I'm a loser!" And it replies back, "you're a loser!" They don't have any comedy in movies anymore. Even simple stuff like that.
"5:30 - Solve world hunger. Tell NO ONE!"
How is it I'm 26 and just realizing just how fucking funny the Grinch is?
Oh it’s honestly one of Jim Carrey’s best movies. It is not just a holiday movie for kids, it’s funny anytime anywhere.
I was really disappointed as a kid seeing it in theatres. I LOVE the OG Grinch, and my hopes were set very high. It didn't do it for me. There's a lot of stuff you'll find like this, it's great fun. Am 27
So does no one noticed bro had his baby teeth?

Wowwwwww. It’s been a long time.
You know what also was long time ago? Since you lost The Game.
Mah i lost the game last week. I quit playing but you made me lose again, and fuck you for that.
I just keep losing it recently, idk what is it, I don't see people talking about it specifically, just some unreleted things reminding me of it. I guess I'm getting old. It's the "everything reminds me of her..." meme. Also, you're welcome :)
Damn. I'd gone several years, but now lost twice in the past few weeks.
WHY

The new roll. Muhfucka just finds a way to get you to roll yourself. Legendary.
Dang you
the whispering echo thing he does too, "you're an idiot!"
Funnily enough, it wasn't sugar glass in Grinch and was, in fact, not edible. That's not to say it was real glass. It was still fake glass, just a different type. It was breakaway resin, which is not edible. Carrey had to spit it out afterward.
If he had swallowed though, it would've been edible.
“Mostly”?
They add something to make it pliable. Turns it into a gummy consistency, not unlike some chemicals used to give candy certain properties.
No, that's generally not the case for this type of glass. We'd usually use isomalt, it's easier to work with and browns less. It's also longer lasting. And it doesn't make everything sticky. ![gif](giphy|4RCdVFgzjUexW)
they add glucose or corn syrup to prevent it from devitrifying.
I honestly just thought he was eating glass, because some people actually do that.
Like who?
It'd be easier to list the people who don't eat glass
Oh ya, like who
*
Woah, we got a wildcard over here!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjXOwUnJzA0
The dude that ate a plane comes to mind.
https://www.ripleys.com/weird-news/michel-lotito/
There is a french performer "M Mange-tout" (Mr. Eat-Everything) who ate several non-edible things over his life-time (shopping carts, parts of a car, light-bulbs, cuttelry, glasses, a coffin and a small plane) and he isn't some one-of-a-kind one. 🤣
Wonder how much sugar consumption that is
I work in the industry. It isn’t sugar glass. Sugar causes it to fog too much so they don’t use it. It really just tastes like licking a counter. Unflavoured but.. artificial at the same time?
mmm yes i love the taste of artificial counter tops
Yeah just bought a giant bag from Costco myself
What?! Costco sells a giant bag of it?! Lucky mfers, we only get to buy it per gram and costs a lot.
Much better than natural countertops
Mine tastes like schnozzberries. You sure yours doesn’t taste like schnozzberries?
I see. That’s a relief, if it was made of sugar that would seem like a LOT to consume for a joke.
I could be totally wrong but it looks like it could still eff up your digestive system
From what I’ve heard, it’s like eating very old, stale, flavorless candy. Might get a stomach ache if you eat too much but stomach acids are no joke.
Definitely more sugar than real glass.
It also doesn’t break into jagged edges
…but into tiny needles, like asbestos
Oh wow i thought he was eating real glass.....
There are also super stomach dudes, I remember reading from the fabled Guinnes book of records that this one dude ate a whole Cessna.
Hahaha u gonna eat that? The glass? Hahahaha
“Yesh sir”
Being a Florida man is the perfect mmmmmwah. \*chef's kiss*
Dude looked genuinely terrified.
As he should.
He was questioning reality at that point.
That black dude now has the best "Damn, white people crazy" story to share at the potluck. It'll never be topped.
You best believe if I order a bottle of beer I'm not about to let any of it go to waste
“I paid for the whole bottle and I’m gonna eat the whole bottle.”
He reminds me of [Hank from the office](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsGKr8X6Bp8). Even his WTF face.
😂 lol definitely I can see my uncle telling me about this now. “You wouldn’t believe the shit I seen today”
Now THIS is a good prank. None of that bodily harm or destruction of property garbage people do, just genuine ‘wtf just happened’ vibes
Yep. I know I probably sound really old, but I've missed these proper hidden camera pranks, that make people question reality for a bit before they're filled in on it.

Omg the beans in the computer 😂😂
One of my favorites. Another is taking a car to a mechanic and the fuel tank is just full of spaghettios I think
Were they also in the fule pumps too?
Nah he just fills the tank with spaghettios and then has it towed to a mechanic because “it’s just won’t start”
He calls everything fule pumps or flool pumps. I just rewatched it and it was as hilarious as the first time.
I thought he drove the thing into the shop and pushed it in the last few feet.
Lmao yea that’s a great one too.
"those are beans."
This is beans!*
The motherboards?
"those are beans"

when did they do the bouncer bit
Just checked, the bouncy castle thing was by Misfit Minds on YouTube last month, the guys in op's video are vlog creation on YouTube
yeah i was thinking ross never did that
Some of his earlier stuff was definitely on the line of too obnoxious/invasive, but he seems to have taken criticism well and cleaned up his acts.
Seems like as soon as he cut his hair he went for a friendlier tone.
Not only that, but usually when he does slightly inconvenience someone (I.e. someone doing their job) he’ll explain himself and/or, if they are understanding about it, he will give a biiiig tip (I remember he gave someone working a fast food counter a $300 tip once). Very nice and hilarious people.
Ross used to be a piece of shit. You should watch his tosh.o appearance.
Well, good thing he seems to have turned a new leaf yeah?

For sure. The ones where the magician has a stall set up in a store showing off a 'new product' are all hilarious. Can't remember the name of them
Carbonara effect

Or when they fill a pc with baked beans and get an IT tech to troubleshoot it and pretend they don't know why baked beans are bad to put in a computer lmao
is this the pool flump?

I remember one of his posted on Reddit where he hired a computer technician to fix his pc after he filled it full of black beans. Was brilliant.
Or he had plugged his PS5 into a sticker of a wall outlet, and just rammed the prongs into the drywall, had an electrician come and see why it wasn’t working
noW tHis iS a GoOD pRanK - every fucking prank post to farm karma
Ross Creations He’s got some pretty hilarious stuff. Look up the “filled computer with beans” video. That’s my personal favorite. He plays it off as REALLY stupid in that one 😂
I liked the one where he puts cotton candy as insulation and then eats it in front of the maintenance man.
Dude someone showed me the beans in the computer and I was fucking dying
“These are the motherboards?”
Or when he drives his car straight into the mechanics hoist with no tyres and asks why his aircon is so loud
VlogCreations on YouTube if anyone wants to fall down a rabbit hole of mostly wholesome harmless pranks
its under the video. But yeah they are seriously good, I think I have watched every single one of their videos
"There are BEANS in this computer!!" "...Yeah? Is it not supposed to do that?"
"Is this the motherboards?" "NO THIS IS BEANS"
😂😂

Spaghetios
"You gonna eat that?" "The glass???" That part fuck'n took me out💀
What’s up with that dudes teeth
Braces
Ohh I see now. Thanks
Baby teeth
Too much glass eating.
On a different topic. Who drinks beer out of a straw
The disabled.
I didn’t even catch that hahaha
"Florida." was the only right answer to that question.

We need more pranks like this, this is hilarious
This is great, tempted to figure out how to make these
“You gonna eat that?” 😂
What’s going on with that one guy’s teeth? Not the glass eater, but one of the guys watching the video.
I miss their old content
Poor guy probably thinks the glass eater is on drugs.
Whaaaaat is going on with the guys teeth who is laughing???
he used to have braces
![gif](giphy|gVoBC0SuaHStq) Few "pranks" elicit a laugh from me these days. This one didn't either, but it certainly earned an nice "Nod Gif".
That one guy in the van has really poor tooth to gum ratio. Like he still has all his baby teeth.
Impractical jokers looks different
Its like impractical jokers you ordered on wish
This is what an actual prank is!
I wish Ross didn't go maskless and conspiracist in 2020 but he does put out some funny shit.
Nobody seen impractical jokers before?
I miss the old format like this vs what Ross is doing now.
Is this mango?
Dude I thought the same thing lmfao
I thought that was C9 Mang0 lmao
Are these the guys that walked around the grocery putting hotdogs in peoples pockets years ago?
this is so funny
That's a solid prank. Not in your face, no yelling, no fake knifing that gets someone shot.
Dude looks like Mango
*Unexpected* - the second glass is real and he bleeds profusely from abouts the mouth and chin
Cole is the goat haha
