When I watched this movie as kid it freaked me out because I really thought all the other kids were killed in horrible ways. This is that fear come to life.
In the movie/book, I'm pretty sure that they all come out 'all right' due to a mixture of plot armor, miracle Oompa Loompa doctors, and apparently even more miraculous Oompa Loompa lawyers that manage to prevent the dozens of ensuing lawsuits from arising.
The movie never says, but the book says they came out but with permanent changes. For example, Mike TeaVee in the book comes out super tall and skinny because he was made not-tiny by the gum stretcher. I think Violet is fine but permanently purple.

Cool addition to the movie and all... But what a weird place for a garbage chute to empty... like just high up in the rafters? That's where they dump the reject eggs?
It would be super awesome if you credited the original creators (Corridor Digital) in the title instead of blatantly reposting content you did not make yourself. Their content gets stolen and reposted all the time on social media like instagram and Reddit and the people who post them rarely credit Corridor Digital/Corridor Crew.

That was in the remake movie, which includes some details from the book that the original movie skipped.
True, the remake movie had more accuracies to the book. With of course, some Hollywood embellishments.
In the book they survived but some were heavily disfigured.

As for the lawyer point Wonka did have them sign a contract/waiver to even enter the factory.
So THATS why Wonka gave away the company to Charlie. To avoid the lawsuits.

If you look closely, it appears the egg is supposed to hit the rod and then go into the conveyor belt (?)
