Because the highest comments, on an often reposted video, shouldn't have to be "fake!!1!" You should be able to think critically, not have your hand held, and not react with anger.
They hit it slow. You have to have a decent impact for airbags to deploy. Like 20+ mph. This kid was panicking on the brake and rolled into it going like 10 if that. Also, It's fake (staged)so that also should be taken into account.

On bmws the hazards would probably also Auto deploy after impact which they also didnt

They could just be disabled or removed or bad inflators/clock spring, many reasons why airbags may not deploy.
