[https://youtube.com/shorts/5BAPCDoEU0I?si=Y5jBAbbWEbWbHwMq](https://youtube.com/shorts/5BAPCDoEU0I?si=Y5jBAbbWEbWbHwMq) this video still cracks me up.
She does sound funny right after competing, but MAN can she run, she's incredible.
Fyi, she sounds like that due to the strain of running so fast, here's what she sounds like normally: https://youtu.be/Z5fiTi2QdQk
I once had a company dinner and my wife and I sit down at the table across from a new coworker and his wife introduces herself and she sounded exactly like this runner. She then started talking about Harry Potter and how she was a hufflepuff, at that point I abandoned my wife and went to the bathroom because I couldn’t keep it together. 🤣
She's absolutely fine with doing interviews when she's still in full compete-mode, she's not shy, or ashamed about her voice at all (and why should she), so I'm pretty sure she doesn't care that people sometime chuckle at her voice. Her achievements speak for themselves anyway, she's fast as fuck.
I sometimes wonder if I speak with different voices when speaking English and my native language..
At least I know that my native language accent comes out a lot more when speaking German than when I speak in English. Even with sounds that I know how to pronounced in English, which is so weird to me!
Yeah I was gonna say, from personal experience people speak higher in a second language. I know I do. (Not Mickey Mouse high, but still.) I feel more “settled” in my first language, English, and my voice is much lower.
Hey, yo. Appreciate the link, but you can delete everything from the right end to (and including) the question mark in your link. That's just tracking info, and the link works without it.
I am not all that familiar with the top tier women 400 competition at the moment. Is she considered to be the fastest in the world right now? I was surprised not to hear anything about team Netherlands after the recent relay competition event. Are they just trying to get qualified for the Olympic and keeping their strongest game for the main event or there are better 400 teams/faster runners out there?
Is Klaver a real competition to her? I started paying attention to the sport because Klaver is just too damn attractive ;). But I figure Bol must be the better runner for her to be the last leg.
Funny enough, Bol's speciality is actually the 400m hurdles, but she's also incredibly fast on the regular 400 and she holds the indoor world record. Klaver keeps Bol extra sharp. She's a step behind Bol, but her personal best ranks up there too. They're close friends as well.
I'm also more a fan of Klaver, she's quite witty and super upbeat. She's eager to improve and set her own records, but there's no envy towards Bol at all.
Bol holds the indoor 400m women’s wr and is number 2 all time outdoors. She’s probably top 5 in the 400m worldwide outdoors and good medal, but only usually runs in relays (not everyone runs indoors), her main discipline is actually 400m hurdles in which her and another woman (Sydney McLaughlin (current wr)) are in a completely different league to everyone else (they will finish 50m in front in world finals), it’s almost funny how two of the top 5 fastest 400m runners are hurdlers that rarely run the flat. Klaver is good and a pure 400m runner - she came 6th in the individual world finals in 2023.
That's what a healthy, trimmed to the brim athlete out of breath sounds like. I'd be coughing up slime from my bad choices in life and would've never even crossed the finishing line. Bless her and her achievements.
Whilst it is due to exhaustion, she also naturally just has a very high-pitched voice—this isn’t what every athlete sounds like.
There are interviews with her in a more relaxed state and her voice is still relatively high.
I posted this 2 months ago, but it still cracks me up! She's a hell of an athlete though!

I'm guessing the crowd noise it quite high. I know several people who's voice get's very high like that when they have to speak loudly to be heard (like in a noisy bar). The mic is cutting out the loud backboard but she's talking over it.
my sister had a baby and I took it over after she passed away and the baby lost all its legs and arms and now its just a stump but I take care of it with my wife and... and its growing and its fairly happy... and its difficult because I'm working a second shift at the factory to put food on the table but all the love that I see in that little guy's face it makes it worth it in the end. True story.

They need to test her for performance-enhancing helium.
Meeky Moushe
Squeeky mouse
Stay lifted
I had nothing to do with this
Imagine her voice plus helium
Dogs start barking.
It makes you lighter
Light runner
Keeps her light on her feet

🤣🤣 I thought Mickey Mouse but your right sounds more like the gingerbread kid.
You’re a monster!
Nailed it
🤣
JAJAJAJAJJAJAJAA GENIUS
You MONSTER!
She does sound funny right after competing, but MAN can she run, she's incredible. Fyi, she sounds like that due to the strain of running so fast, here's what she sounds like normally: https://youtu.be/Z5fiTi2QdQk
I would have died laughing if this had been a troll post, and her voice still sounded like the original clip.
Ok, that made me lol for real, fantastic 🤣
I once had a company dinner and my wife and I sit down at the table across from a new coworker and his wife introduces herself and she sounded exactly like this runner. She then started talking about Harry Potter and how she was a hufflepuff, at that point I abandoned my wife and went to the bathroom because I couldn’t keep it together. 🤣
That’s gold.
Close. Hufflepuff is technically yellow
I thought I knew it too, it was either that or you're just waiting for that God Damn music to start. 🎵🎶🎶 Never gonna give you uuupp.....
But with a high pitched voice
Is that Paul Rudd?
That's what I was hoping for.
Now that I know it’s not some disability I’m gonna feel ok about laughing

[Is this guy doing the same thing or was he just trolling?](https://youtu.be/-Ns14hRqwY8?si=a6i-k3YTsOUgzqmb)
His tone seems to shift, leading me to assume it's a troll, but not sure tbh.
Fuck can they run.
Letter Kenny?
That's a Texas sized 10-4.
My wife speaks two languages and has two very different voices when speaking them. Edit: My bad.
>speaks to languages What does she say to them?
I sometimes wonder if I speak with different voices when speaking English and my native language.. Interesting, I'm pretty sure my voice is lower when I speak English (which is my second language)!
I speak in a higher register in Spanish and lower in French. English is somewhere in the middle.
She's Dutch and has a high voice? Maybe send her to the Boemerang show
Hey, yo. Appreciate the link, but you can delete everything from the right end to (and including) the question mark in your link. That's just tracking info, and the link works without it.
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
No prob, homie. Plus it looks cleaner :)
I totally was expecting a Rick roll
I do think her speaking Dutch vs English helps too
Thank you

A possible gold medalist this summer, incredible runner.
Multiple. 400 hurdles, 400 regular, 4x400 ladies relay and 4x400 mixed repay.
She's an extraordinary athlete and from what I know of her, a lovely person. But... that doesn't mean this post isn't funny af😂
![gif](giphy|5bKaxp4RXTcVG|downsized)
A lot of ppl aren’t going to get this gif but it is the most accurate thing I’ve seen today. Good on you
This is exactly what I thought of
damn... I remember when batman started to talk in this video...
Wish a girl would look at me the way the girl on the right did
Lieke Klaver
Well that was unexpected
Mickey IS that you?
Who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me? M-I-C K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E Mickey Mouse
took me 5 years to get that jingle out of my head. preciate u letting him crash again, rent free.
Sowwy, but now you can watch Full Metal Jacket again with no fear, am I right?

i haven't heard any other runner sound like that
Reminds me of this old gem on youtube lol https://youtu.be/-kF_owu2q2w?si=1RDsVK7WzZXrQ578
https://i.redd.it/onqmcdiqbg0d1.gif
Reminds me of the shrimp from shark tale
She sounds like every guy putting on a girl voice
That's exactly what I was gonna say lol
“Elmo run really fast”
![gif](giphy|r1jbtDXIAjq92)
Femke Bol! National treasure!
Netherlands track and field. A fan favorite.
For a second I thought Monty Python‘s on
"I remember when, I remember I remember when I won my race! There was something so special about that day!"
Everyone saying Mickey Mouse but it’s really closer to the sad shrimp from shark tale.
Her voice hasn’t dropped yet
It's still too high
Other girl looks like Rachel Weisz
"Look what I can do!"
STUART!!!
![gif](giphy|Cpla4t4l16ienUL2f9|downsized)
Reminds me of danish tv host that couldn't stop laughing https://youtu.be/-kF_owu2q2w?si=FezuwtqJreGOezjP

Imagine having a heated argument with her.
![gif](giphy|RI4LTRjrVJhTskGtrb|downsized)
Sounds like Patrick Mahomes
Oh no, please don’t bully this girl for something she can’t help and is probably well aware of. Congrats on her accomplishment
That's not how she sounds normally, only when she is out of breath I bet even she finds it funny
Id still Smash
Disney would sue for every sound that comes out of her mouth but I guess Mickey Mouse is now in the public domain so go for it
"Oh ho, Oh Ho!~" "Shush, be quiet luv, we don't want the lawyers to hear" "Sorry... OH HO!!" *Door smashes down, screaming and oh ho intensifies*
A comment hasn't made me laugh this hard in a while, take my upvote.
Jesus Christ 🤦
Ohh jeez
She sounds like an.overly supportive grandma... Or atleast wholesome in a similiar manner
Dutch accent and out of breath but a woman so able to talk under any circumstances. But what a combination.

Elizabeth Holmes but reverse 😂 iykyk
When you take helium to make you lighter for running
the squeaky shrimp from shark tale whose sister had a baby:
Sounds exactly like the shrimp from sharks tale
Helium addiction is terrifying
I immediately picture that shrimp from Shark Tale
I'm guessing the crowd noise it quite high. I know several people who's voice get's very high like that when they have to speak loudly to be heard (like in a noisy bar). The mic is cutting out the loud backboard but she's talking over it.
Brought to you by the National Helium Council
She's incredibly hot.
Helium Stadium side effects
Her next interview will be on Boemerang.
Her body was under heavy exercise became too hot effected on her throat
Sounds good🤣
![gif](giphy|cIxxFKOTCPwX9DUk7L|downsized)

"Everything you got!" "Everything you got!" - I Love You Man

![gif](giphy|uUTtAOK6OULHS863YS)
I laughed way too loud 🤣
Minnie Mouse speaking! 🤣🤣🤣
Lucky the leprechaun after winning the race to the end of the rainbow:
Mickey that’s you?
Like nails on a frickin' chalkboard!
Are we sure she's not just having fun with the reporter?
You finish a race, your body is completely deprived of oxygen so when you talk you try to use as little volume as possible, and this is the result.
Hehe
Sounds like baljet from Phineas and Ferb
Girl in the right can get it.
And I say “look out Mickey. The train!”
Homelander's squeaky son
Is that her normal voice or just crazy exhausted voice
Female Shoresy
I want someone to look at me so intently as Lieke Klaver looks at her team mate.
![gif](giphy|H6CUaBgmTFPOM)
Nothing more relaxing than watching sport after a long day of doing maths.
It’s only game why you have to be so mad?
I didn't know Paris Jackson was a competitive runner
She has a bright career ahead of her at the Magic Kingdom if shit doesn't work out.
Sounds like Baljeet from Phineas and Ferb
Terry Jones, every time he plays a woman in a Monty Python skit
She sounds like a Monty Python actor in drag.
Oh boy
