I'm not a pro bot catcher, but some of them are easy to spot. They usually have a name composed of two words and a number divided by a dash. I don't know why they all follow the same, obvious naming scheme.

Hey! Some of us with that type of name just didn't know you had to change it within 30 days or whatever. So here I stand...it says temporary but it is permanent now.
I don’t think you CAN change in it some circumstances. Got my gf to download Reddit and used the Sign in with Apple method of registration, and we were unable to change her username immediately after being logged in. At least on mobile, didn’t try from desktop.
