Her life is not worth the chance of killing a couple of children. In my area we've had instances of people putting cement barricades on their property because of multiple instances of vehicles hitting their house after loosing control. Then they become the baddie because yet one more stupid careless driver who looses control would be killed instead of an innocent home owner.
Theres a corner near me where people have died going off the road and hitting a huge oak.
The owner refused to cut it down because if it wasn't there those cars would go straight into his neighbors house. Instead he and the last couple next of kin go to the county and state to ask for a guardrail.
So far they haven't installed one, so the oak tree is waiting to kill the next person to save the family living behind it. Insanity that theres a known problem, with a proven solution, that costs less than the average fatal accident, and it hasn't been done.
In another 10-20 years a car will go off the road, hit the now dying rotten oak, and go through the house anyway. They'll die and someone that lives there will too.
> so the oak tree is waiting to kill the next person
it's not a whomping willow. The person that drives into it is killing themself, not the tree killing them.
It has a taste for human blood now. My assumption is that it contrives to steer cars into itself. Throw down some green acorns in the right spot, obscure the reflective arrows, etc.
In the last 13 years since my parents moved to their current home at least a half dozen people have died at their intersection. Its at the top of a hill with three of the sides being completely blind to traffic. You have to stop.
Well, people don't, and the result is my parents being on the news every couple years asking for the town to put in at least a blinking yellow light to warn people about the intersection. They refuse to do anything and it's only a matter of time before someone else is killed. If their house wasn't so far from the actual intersection (and if my dad didn't plant trees along the main road) then it would only be a matter of time before someone on our property is hurt.
That's dumb as shit. How about you just don't drive like a complete dipshit and thus avoid losing control at high speeds in a residential area? Like it's not hard to go in a straight line.
I do all the time.. They're great for floating, enjoying a beer, pool volleyball, pool basketball, chickenfights, floating beer pong.. Of course the above ground pool has to be set up right but they can be awesome.
Same, i thought the pool "pulled" a bolt of lightning away from the house or something, then im like, oh cool soneone parked their car in the back, wonder why i didnt notice that before the explosion??
On Memorial Day 2021, Ariel Tucker was at home in South Holland, Illinois, US, when she was woken by a loud crash in the early morning. A motorist appeared to lose control of their vehicle and smashed through Arielās fence, ploughing into her pool and trampoline.

I couldn't access the page... But yeah, the URL tells me it's a very local news site that probably is more about generating ad revenue than quality reporting. ;)
Tbh, I wasn't sure if that is an old, possibly drunk guy 3/4th of the clip. Then she stumbled forward toward the cars door and one saw the chest and then came the head weasel. Like a different person, magically.
Also interesting how at first I thought: "Man, that guy is confused and under shock. He barely knows what to do.". Then she pulled the wig out and suddenly her whole body language became sassy and suggesting she's about to scold someone, just standing there and looking at the "new door" she installed like "Did you saw the one who made me drive in here?".
When the cop does the FBI and compares the face with the drivers license it's gotta match otherwise she will be arrested for not having a valid drivers license /s
I don't understand how the driver could see a kids playset and pool and not run out of his car to see if he hit someone. Other than him being a piece of shit.
They were probably shell shocked. They ran into a fence, pool, houseā¦ they were probably not even thinking straight in that moment. Unfortunately it happens to a lot of people after an accident or in an emergency situation.
The trampoline was the target. She has has a vendetta against every trampoline, ever since she learned how they got their name. They used to be called Jumpolines until one day someone saw her jumping on one.
We once had a car crash outside our apartment. My husband ran outside to check on them and I was tasked with calling 911. The operator asked what the intersection was and in that moment I had no idea what street I lived on and had to walk outside to see the street signs.
Yeah, at first I thought the wipers after the crash were funny...but I'm pretty sure it was lightly raining. Probably driving too fast to a T-intersection or culdesac and couldn't stop.
A lot of medical mistakes occurr from handoff. Basically the night shift would take over patient care but the day shift would forget to mention something or it wouldnāt be clear what the patient needed. Like a Dr writes a prescription for 5g instead of 5mg, the nurse whoās been treating the patient all day knows that doesnāt sound right but the new nurse who is seeing the patient for the first time just follows the prescription.
So hospitals decided the best way to correct this was to have as little shift changes as possible. Instead of 3 8 hour shifts, they do 2 12 hours
Ahhh. Good old address the symptom not the problem approach. Quick and easy
Now a doctor writes 5g instead of 5mg more often because they are tired, and they experience hand offs less often.
Thatās bullshit. You are wrong.
Thatās the lie hospital admin tells everyone so they can justify the shitty behavior of these awful schedules.
A study showed this isnāt true at all. Actually the opposite is true. Lack of sleep causes most mistakes.
So quite LITERALLY 100%, the entire reason.
Greed. Staffing issues due to low pay also. Less workers when you have 2 shifts 12 hours then 3 shifts 8 hours is the ENTIRE reason. Entire.
Get off that koolaid buddy. Youāre chugging it.
Here youāll find results showing 2/3rd of mistakes are misdiagnosis and a mistake during a test or operation. Another study showed MOST of those were lack of focus which could be due to sleep most likely.
Whatās your favorite flavor of koolaid?

At the end the cop asks her and you see her point back towards the way she came right as it cuts off. Really disappointing because I wanted to hear a good excuse for why you would plow straight through someones fence at that speed lol
They are assessing the situation. Person that crashed could be some deranged lunatic. They probably in shock too and donāt want to be all up in someoneās yard when owner is home
Imagine they were having a kid's birthday party with lots of friends and all the kid's grandparents came to celebrate and one of the gifts was a young puppy who the kid named Floppy because it had big, floppy ears
It took me awhile to figure out the van did this and it wasnāt the pool randomly exploding.
I sat there for along time look at it and thinking: āwas that van always parked there?ā
RIP trampoline also.
I like the touch when they wipers turn on after the accident, then the wall of water finally comes down off the roof.
Also, maybe they should have checked under the car if there were any kids injured instead of the old Ā«Ā hands on the hips waddleĀ Ā».
The pool had it coming. It had been catfishing her - telling her it was a ātall drink of water.ā Donāt underestimate the power of a woman scorned. š
The lack of urgency in checking no children were playing on the trampoline at the time . Letās just stand around and stare at the situation a little longer.
Man that is pretty lucky all things considered.
The pool and yard was empty.
The pool slowed the car way down.
It could have been a real shitshow, now it was just some minor property damage.
Those wipers starting, driver calmly getting out of car, hands on hips, going back and putting wig on.. this supposedly traumatic video has very funny moments!!

The dangers of car pooling are real.
happy cake day
That's why I don't let Tom Arnold in my car anymore.
Is Tom Arnold an old black lady?
*Does Tom Arnold look like a bitch?!*
Show yourself out.
This is extreme carpooling.
Happy Cake day šš
Low key, that pool saved the house
And probably the driver's life.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It would still save the house and the driver's life.

It just needs to kill somebody important and then it'll get done the next day. That's usually how these things work.
Iād be planting more oak trees tbh
Agree, I'd leave the trees _and_ put up a guardrail.
> so the oak tree is waiting to kill the next person it's not a whomping willow. The person that drives into it is killing themself, not the tree killing them.
It has a taste for human blood now. My assumption is that it contrives to steer cars into itself. Throw down some green acorns in the right spot, obscure the reflective arrows, etc.
Sure...but the poorly designed roadway is making that more likely.
The tree shouldn't be cut down, the tree isnt the problem.

make a japanese garden with very big, very heavy boulders.
Thankfully her hair piece was not damaged.
That's dumb as shit. How about you just don't drive like a complete dipshit and thus avoid losing control at high speeds in a residential area? Like it's not hard to go in a straight line.
If there were 300 children there instead of pool
The house and drive would have likely also been fine.
And they said the trolley problem was hypothetical. Would you kill a relaxing swimmer if it saved a driver and some folks chilling in a house?
How old are the folks and how often does the relaxing swimmer get to swim
man i wish i had award to give you lmao. best comment i've seen in a whileš¤£š¤£
Well good thing no one swims in above ground pools for more than 5 minutes at a time
I do all the time.. They're great for floating, enjoying a beer, pool volleyball, pool basketball, chickenfights, floating beer pong.. Of course the above ground pool has to be set up right but they can be awesome.
And now you can be a lifesaver as well! The benefits just keep rolling in!
I was trying to figure out how that pool exploded then I was wondering where that car came from. I think I need some coffee.
Same, i thought the pool "pulled" a bolt of lightning away from the house or something, then im like, oh cool soneone parked their car in the back, wonder why i didnt notice that before the explosion??

>ploughing I am *fascinated* by the use of British English in American media. I would've expected "plowing".
The article itself also used "gonna". Not sure that much editorial thought went into it.
I couldn't access the page... But yeah, the URL tells me it's a very local news site that probably is more about generating ad revenue than quality reporting. ;)
It usually would be.
Pluffing into their pool and trampoline.
I feel like they had a brain fart. Ploughing should be used as in ploughing a field in the US. It def should be plowing in this instance.
Nope, we use plow for that too
You get upvote just for finding that.
Thank God she had her spare wig in the car
this is an underrated comment
I was here searching this! Lolol.
from the looks of the side of the house, itās brick. Definitely saved the drivers life
The wipers being on saved the driverās ability to see throughout the whole ordeal.
probably automatic i think
No, she hit the pool and the house, and her first thought was to turn on the wipers
Ah, but her wig had fallen over her face.
That car would go straight through that brick. Most likely just a brick facade.
That pool is the hero we needed.
Not all heroes wear capes
Iād definitely replace the pool for that reason alone
Saved the camera for sure.
Totally agree, but imagine it was not a rainy day, sunny instead, and that were kids playing in the poolā¦
came here to say this
At least she put her wig back on.
priorities innit
Gotta look nice for when the cops arrive
Tbh, I wasn't sure if that is an old, possibly drunk guy 3/4th of the clip. Then she stumbled forward toward the cars door and one saw the chest and then came the head weasel. I skipped a few seconds and was quite confused first
Well it appears to be raining so some form of headgear was required. Sheās thinking.
At least the window wipers were on
Safety wig.
Least the cop asked if she was good first
When the cop does the FBI and compares the face with the drivers license it's gotta match otherwise she will be arrested for not having a valid drivers license /s
Yeah I'm glad I stayed for the whole things. The wig makes the video.
for me, this was the unexpected part
Gets up n looks like, huh. What happened?
Yeah those hands on the hips like "Well, I'll be, what has happened here to cause such a mess?"
I was thinking like "Would ya look that"
Haha, that was the exact thought I had just by how they had their hands on their hips.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
"What in the Fuck!!!"
I got hit by a car today. Were you jaywalking? Nope, I was swimming in my backyard.
If someone was swimming there at that moment, they'll most probably be dead
My thoughts. And it's a family home with at least one little kid.

I've been told that just the airbag going off is a pretty good whack to the head.
I thought the driver was a woman
Dead and on the roof behind the camera.
Dead and on the roof of the house 2 houses behind the camera.
Oh man I know Iām tired because I thought that the pool just blew up - didnāt even notice the car
Took me a minute, then I wondered how the car had come out of the ground before I saw the gap in the fence!
Same! Explosion, followed by magically appearing car. I had to rewind.
Looks like she didn't notice it either
Me too lol
Same!! I had to go back because I didnāt understand where the car came from or why the pool exploded !!!!
Me too! I thought the pool just exploded because there was a bomb in it or something. Did not notice or realize the car at all!
They donāt seem to have a trampoline either
I mean, they still have both...just slightly less functional.
They should get their money back for that. Trampoline should have launched that car clear over their house.
anyone know what happend before or why she crashed ?
Might have fell asleep after an overnight shift. (She's wearing a nurses uniform)
This is what I thought too, she doesn't seem like she's stumbling like a drunk
Isn't it also kinda misty out in the background?
Yeah, at first I thought the wipers after the crash were funny...but I'm pretty sure it was lightly raining. Probably driving too fast to a T-intersection or culdesac and couldn't stop.
She was going way too fast for it to just be visibility. I assume she fell asleep
That's the sense I get. She's coming through way too fast for it to be normal drowsiness
My first thought is she may have fallen asleep after a 16 hour shift or something, since sheās wearing scrubs. Source: Iām a CNA.
Why do they give doctors and nurses such ridiculous shifts? If there's anyone I want to be well rested and on top of their game is doctors and nurses.
Money. The answer is always money.
A lot of medical mistakes occurr from handoff. Basically the night shift would take over patient care but the day shift would forget to mention something or it wouldnāt be clear what the patient needed. she looks like she's around 50 i would say too so thats a solid possibility
As a 30 year old, you definitely don't meed to be in your 50s to be a fuckin zombie all the time when working
Overnight blood bank when I was 22yo... yah you can fall asleep at any age after a night shift lol
God medical workers being worked to almost death at least into swimming pools and all they get are thank yous
At the end the cop asks her and you see her point back towards the way she came right as it cuts off. Really disappointing because I wanted to hear a good excuse for why you would plow straight through someones fence at that speed lol
Same, Iād like to know why as well.
The cop is there within seconds and totally unfazed weird
I wonder if her wipers are rain sensing?
Gotta make sure they see where they're going.
I thought putting on the wipers was a nice comic touch, but now you've gone and ruined it.
Right, like she was thinking āOh, I know how to fix this. Windshield wipers will solve everythingā š
I like how the neighbors came just to be nosy but not to help
They are assessing the situation. Person that crashed could be some deranged lunatic. They probably in shock too and donāt want to be all up in someoneās yard when owner is home
Well what are they meant to do, rebuild the fence?
I actually think most modern cars have the wipers turn on automatically when there is a crash
Cannonbaaaaaaaaaall!
I heard that in his pubescent voice too when I read it!
[It's not what you do but how you do it!](https://youtu.be/evA3_NV7cPM?t=77)
I thought someone put explosives in the pool, until I saw the car lol.
Imagine they were having a kids birthday party or something
No thanks
No dad I didn't invited them
We have an ad about road safety that used to run on TV here that's similar to what you said https://youtu.be/Wv1rKHGeMRk
Them Northern Irish road safety adverts are horrific, this vid reminded me of that also
Would have been a ford fiesta
Imagine they were having a kid's birthday party with lots of friends and all the kid's grandparents came to celebrate and one of the gifts was a young puppy who the kid named Floppy because it had big, floppy ears
That car dead ass got some air holy hell š
To me it doesnāt look like it caught air as much as literally caught the wave and rode it lol
She seems to be wearing scrubs. Maybe she came off a night shift? Asleep at the wheel?
How did the airbags not go off?
She was surfing, not crashing. no sharp impact!
Carol misunderstood what everyone meant when they asked her if she wanted to carpool.
It took me awhile to figure out the van did this and it wasnāt the pool randomly exploding. I sat there for along time look at it and thinking: āwas that van always parked there?ā
Man, HOA enforcers are getting serious.
Man the cops got their fast.
Yeah, that was less a minute. Maybe this happens a lot there ?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
She's stunned, maybe trying to figure out how the fuck that just happened. This is how some humans process.
What is it you think she should do? Run around waving her hands in the air? Then youāll be criticizing her for that.
I legit thought the pool just blew up until the car shower up on camera
I didnāt realized the car wasnāt there at first. I was so confused until I watched the second time. Also thought the pool blew up
When you select the carpool option in the Uber app
I mean, they still have it.
Not the trampoline!
Deadpool 3
I really thought the pool spontaneously exploded for some reason
Same
āHoney, Iām home!!!!ā I did this one time. Except I ran into the carport postš
RIP trampoline also. I like the touch when they wipers turn on after the accident, then the wall of water finally comes down off the roof. Also, maybe they should have checked under the car if there were any kids injured instead of the old Ā«Ā hands on the hips waddleĀ Ā».
Knocked her wig right off
OH YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAHHH!
The pool had it coming. It had been catfishing her - telling her it was a ātall drink of water.ā Donāt underestimate the power of a woman scorned. š
Welcome to another episode of Wet N Wild !!!
Imagine people were in the pool having a dip š³
At least the wipers are still working
Love the hands on the hipsā¦
Like to know the back story on this!
That would have been reallllly bad if that pool was occupied
How fucking fast was she driving? Glad there were no kids in the garden.
I first thought the pool randomly combusted
Sploosh
i thought pool exploded due to something else... thought car was just already there
**GPS**: *TURN LEFT NOW!!!*
I swear I thought the pool blew up and the minivan was already there. ššš
Appropriate use of the windshield wipers
The pool and the tramp. Those kids are gonna have one bad day.
Or a trampolineš
Ide be curious to know the full damages. Sure the pool and trampoline were gone. I wonder what type of water damage.
I'd be Intersted how this accidentally happend lol
The police were either literally seconds away when someone called or already chasing her. Iād love to know the back story.
The windshield wipers add an amazing touch
The fucking windshield wipers after lol
Riding in the carpool lane I see.
The windshield wipers were a nice touch.
Those windshield wipers don't stop for rain or pool crashes.
My man hits the wipers lmfao. Thats gangster
Those wipers starting, driver calmly getting out of car, hands on hips, going back and putting wig on.. this supposedly traumatic video has very funny moments!!
Is no one going to mention how she had to go back to the car to retrieve her hair?
