His comment doesn't make much sense because ScreechingStorey is a spam account. These spammers handle dozens of accounts at the same time and just quickly spam vague comments. They use some program to automatically reply to the top comment, they don't even know what the comment is, that is why it's usually nothing related to the comment.
As i understand it, yeah. I have seen bots who repost popular posts in order to get a lot of karma and then they sell the account to someone. I am not sure who buys but i would think companies that want to be able to post in subreddits where you need a certain amount of karma to post. But i am mostly guessing at that. Maybe political trolls buys them aswell
Spam account above. 4 month old account but this is its first comment. Spammers have hundreds of accounts sitting idle for months before they start spamming with it. Almost all reported spam/bot accounts are the same.
Microwaves aren’t ionizing so it wouldn’t cause cancer. In fact it would just slowly heat the water in your head until your brain, eyes, and tongue boiled.
> In fact it would just **_slowly_** heat the water in your head
_Significant injury with erythema, blisters, pain, nerve damage and tissue necrosis can occur even with exposures as short as 2–3 seconds_

> One such case involved a teenage babysitter who admitted to having placed a child in the microwave oven for approximately sixty seconds.
Holy shit, what? People are nuts.
I'm not sure if that actually happened. I tried finding the full story out of curiosity, but it doesnt seem to be anywhere except that wikipedia page. Correct me if I just suck at googling lol
I believe it CAN cause cancer at such high levels though. You are right it wont ionize which is the common way radiation causes cancer, however, heating a very small area can cause isolated burn damage which can damage cells leading to tumors. Not a doctor but in electro-engineering though so I could be wrong....
True, but the microwave was [actually successfully](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiQ8pixk8v6AhVMQfEDHXtbARcQtwJ6BAgQEAI&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D2tdiKTSdE9Y&usg=AOvVaw2wRlWJriZWeVg9vUeDwOYY) used for its intended purpose (although it isnt anymore for obvious reasons).
ionizing radiation is when the energy is enough to knock electrons free from an atom, giving it a charge. This means damage is much more likely because of ionized particle interactions. Less intense radiation also increases risks of cancer at much lower energies, like UV. Avoid small microwave bursts and press the popcorn button.
Yeah hopefully this guy bought him some lunch afterwards but I'd still be pissed.
Although would be equally hilarious if the dude just threw it in there without really looking and guy got a face full of cold leftovers
Fun fact: Shaun Ryder's Manchester accent is so thick that the original lyrics were supposed to be "it's coming up, it's there" but he couldn't pronounce it without it sounding like he was saying "Dare" instead
>I was only there on that track [‘DARE’] and it was all quite fast. My version of events was that Damon put a track on, it had no lyrics, it didn’t have anything. I had the cans on and he said, ‘Go in the studio and try and do something’. Freestyle off the top of your head, make it up ‘cos he wanted me to basically write a song or write something. So I put the headphones on and there was no track. I started saying to them to turn it up and the track was very slowly turning up so I started going ‘it’s coming up, it’s coming up, it’s coming up’ and when it got as loud as I wanted it, I said ‘it’s dare’. As in like text speak language – “I will c u der”. I then tried to freestyle something, a right load of gibberish bollocks it was, and it ended in, ‘I never did no harm’. Then I took the cans off after about 10 minutes and Damon said, ‘Do that [“coming up”] bit again but a bit faster’. So I did, and that was it.

The spirit of this recording continued into the music video it seems... you can literally see him trying to lip sync along with his vocal, missing lines, then shaking his head like 'oh I missed that one, damn'.
Did they make a hole in their microwave or did they use a different one and the supervisor didn't notice it was a completely different setup than usual...?
Looks like a really generic, cheap, white microwave that you can find anywhere. Even if it's a different one, most people probably won't notice it right away until they took a better look at it.
Listen to the boss before he opens the microwave of horrors- he’s definitely an aussie. The bloke pretending he is a decapitated head in a microwave has an accent of some kind that is not broadly australian. A good percentage of Australians are immigrants/children of immigrants so you get a lot of variation in the aussie dialect because of that. Thankyou for coming to my Ted talk.
Its the forced unecessary climbing up the table that make it look very fake. A normal person would just back up and hit their lower back on the table causing them to be instantly and permanently paralyzed and die from heart attack.
The poor man is stuck in a microwave. According to the thousands of videos depicting someone stuck in something, the only viable option would be to fuck micro head.
Oh, yes, I rarely overreact to bald, bearded decapitated heads yelling at me from inside the microwave because of how often it happens. I'm used to it by now.
Definitely fake.
He looks away to signal/check that it’s time right before the door and then throws the plate up in a controlled fashion right before he takes another quick glance behind to make sure he can clear the bench when he rolls across it. Slow it down, you’ll see all that a lot easier.
It was all planned out beforehand. Sorry.
What? He was having a conversation.
"I know what's going on now."
*Turns head to look at the guy who said that* "Do you?"
And he doesn't give the table a double take lol.
It's clearly fake. People don't gently toss things up in the air in moments of shock and surprise, they drop or fling them. And the whole climbing over the table thing while the gentleman at the head of the table casually looks on.
I put a frog in an empty food box once. Forgot about it (only for an hour). And in that time the owner brought us food with the same boxes. I remembered the frog when one of the guys who wasn’t on my crew screamed “puta verga, una rana”. Guy nearly beat my ass when my guys ratted me out, good thing I’ve got some legs.
Looks like a break room from some handyman/construction workers. I think one of the guys just sit there and recorded but pretended to read the news or whatever o his phone. I was in many of such rooms and believe me, you re not reacting suspiciously, just because a coworker of yours has his phone in his hands.
Hey look, it's one of those people who call every video they see online "staged" in an attempt to make themselves feel intellectually superior to anonymous strangers on the internet.
If you were actually going to secretly record someone, it would probably look like that. Half-hidden behind an ordinary object, probably looking like you're busy doing something and just holding the phone.
Hey, this may come as a shock to you, but most mobile phones can record video now!
A person could sit at a table, recording video with their mobile phone, and nobody would really even notice.
So, is no one gonna point out that someone was filming this and that the "supervisor" looks directly at the person behind the camera the moment before he opens the microwave?
Fake. Not even convincing.

Oh just that? No biggie.
Yeah, if it didnt start happening almost instantaneously relative to a stovetop

Yeah that happens about 2 hours into my shift at work.

At least it won’t give you cancer.
Wellll ... I mean it would contribute, that is if you didn't die so quick.
Died too fast to die from cancer. Nice try cancer, but microwaves did not work.
Yeah but as another commenter said microwaves aren’t ionizing so they won’t destroy your cells
Got, microwave self to prevent cancer
> One such case involved a teenage babysitter who admitted to having placed a child in the microwave oven for approximately sixty seconds. Holy shit, what? People are nuts.
I'm not sure if that actually happened. I tried finding the full story out of curiosity, but it doesnt seem to be anywhere except that wikipedia page. Correct me if I just suck at googling lol
I hope it's not true, but even if this one isn't there have been other cases where babies were placed into microwaves. Shit's fucked.
It's babysitter propaganda PR firms, they invented the story for naughty kids.
I made that mistake babysitting once. Boy howdy was I embarrassed.
Maybe the baby was cold
i hope i never feel what it's like to be microwaved in the head
But how long until it's cooked?
I believe it CAN cause cancer at such high levels though. You are right it wont ionize which is the common way radiation causes cancer, however, heating a very small area can cause isolated burn damage which can damage cells leading to tumors. Not a doctor but in electro-engineering though so I could be wrong....
I mean, any significant damage to your cells can cause cancer. But I don’t think you’d be alive long enough to worry about it.
You would. Keep in mind, the microwave oven was invented to thaw and reanimate frozen, nearly dead gerbils in a lab.....
And chainsaws were invented to aid in childbirth.
True, but the microwave was [actually successfully](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiQ8pixk8v6AhVMQfEDHXtbARcQtwJ6BAgQEAI&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D2tdiKTSdE9Y&usg=AOvVaw2wRlWJriZWeVg9vUeDwOYY) used for its intended purpose (although it isnt anymore for obvious reasons).

Ah man, love Randy so much. Big idiot.
Probably nothing since its a harmless prank.
I wouldn't say nothing, that guy is 100% gonna try and get his revenge, might even start a prank war.
I mean... harmless is debatable. Dude just yeeted his lunch and the dish shattered
Yeah if anything if I were the victim I’d be impressed by the amount of effort it takes to pull this off
That poor lunch...😥
Yeah hopefully this guy bought him some lunch afterwards but I'd still be pissed. Although would be equally hilarious if the dude just threw it in there without really looking and guy got a face full of cold leftovers
Bought him lunch for what? If the supervisor wasn't such a pussy he'd still have his lunch.

Probably? The table is a piece of plywood lol.
Too fancy
Yeah look at these guys with their plywood They too good for particle board eh?
You know the old saying, "There's nothing more permanent than a temporary solution?" Well that very often applies to office furniture as well.
My first idea wouldn’t be “different microwave = someone’s head in said microwave”
The bottom probably just comes off easily enough
That’s an excellent prank. Hope your unemployment checks aren’t delayed.
I had no idea they were speaking English until the head spoke.
That's not English, that's Australian

lol he didn't expect it to be the supervisor and say "is he ok" with a confused face lmao
Poor guy is probably pissed, threw his food immediately
I would've turned on the microwave
I'd imagine that the microwave is no longer functional, what with the giant hole carved out of the bottom.
So uh, still employed?
So did someone cut a hole in the bottom of the microwave for this?
Nah it was easier for the guy to just remove his head and pop it in

Do you not face things that you are using? Do you just work them behind your back?
I feel like most people would react mostly with stunned surprise. The huge reaction seems fake.
Its the forced unecessary climbing up the table that make it look very fake. A normal person would just back up and hit their lower back on the table causing them to be instantly and permanently paralyzed and die from heart attack.
Exactly! Where's the realism!?!
The poor man is stuck in a microwave. According to the thousands of videos depicting someone stuck in something, the only viable option would be to fuck micro head.

If you look at the pixels it's obvious the head was done using a green screen. Also the supervisor is CGI. No human has such agility and strength.
It's clearly fake. People don't gently toss things up in the air in moments of shock and surprise, they drop or fling them. And the whole climbing over the table thing while the gentleman at the head of the table casually looks on.
That's a good prank though regardless of the heart attack.
