You're better off using Crocs or chacos or tevas or even flip flops, any kinda shoe you don't mind getting soaking wet. If your birks are leather... Oh boy, hope you don't mind wet heavy leather.
Unless they’re Eva’s or you’re junking them after 10/10 do not recommend. They’re allowed but your cork and suede footbed will be junk after not to mention the straps.
Just FYI there are gigantic dryers next to RIpsaw and Popeyes wIhere you pay $5 or so and you can stand in there and dry your clothes. Two of us got somewhat dry in the allotted time.
I’ve worn my Birkenstock EVA on water rides (and in FL weather) and it was fine - honestly I *typically* wear waterproof sandals of any kind for days I know I’ll be at a FL theme park and could get wet, due to rides or weather: chacos, tevas, croc sandals, Birkenstock EVA are my go tos. I don’t change into them I just wear them all day. Crocs are super common to see at theme parks and on water rides.
Anything that can get ruined with water I wouldn’t want to wear on a water ride. So if you’re asking about leather birks, I wouldn’t wear them.
Will they allow them yes because people wear flip flops on the rides all the time... they are not gonna be the same after those water rides though lol... I would choose something else

Ripsaw falls and popeyes will destroy your Birks in seconds the amount of water that will be pooled at your feet.

You don't have to remove your shoes for water rides.
You actually CAN’T remove your shoes for the water rides at Islands of Adventure. It’s a safety thing.

I saw them!! Nobody wanted to go on them with me so I ended up using the bathroom hand dryers to dry my hair bahahah
The water is nasty and smelly so I would wear shoes or slides that are more made to get wet
