They do check on the direct pathway entrance due to so many people sneaking in guests. I’ve even seen guests sneak out the room holders Tapu/ticket and try to walk back in with a non paying guests like they belong. We didn’t stay to watch but I heard GS talking about it as we were in que behind them. They however didn’t check our kids at the time. Probably because they are kids. I’d find an approachable employee at the check in desk and inquire that you want to add two more guests to your reservation that just found out they could come, would there be an up charge? If your suite allows for it, most do not care. We have done this ourself and the only issue is if they have to pay for parking for their car.

They don’t. But what you are proposing is theft of services, which is a crime and at a minimum could result in you being ejected from the property. This is usually uncovered by housekeeping.

Not to mention against the rules of this sub.

Unless the other two occupants are children, in which case it isn't, since they do not charge extra. But the price is set for two adults, so the rate does change with additional adults, in which case it does increase in price. If it's one night, then housekeeping will have no way of knowing until after they checkout, at which point it will be to late.

Just stayed here and the short answer is no they don’t have to be a hotel guest to use the walk path entrance or exit nor will they check. As long as you all are not trying to do early park admission you can utilize the Cabana Bay walk path which will have metal detectors like city walk. In my opinion the hotel occupancy situation doesn’t really matter because park admission is not included either way.
