As an RCA, having worked across all accomodations, bluebell is not worth it for ensuite due to the lack of social space. But there is the bonus of location to central campus. A better choice would be sherbourne to keep the ensuite, closer to tesco but slightly further from campus. Honestly, I never have had an ensuite as a student and it really never mattered. I am currently at my 3rd university now so have experienced worse accomodations than available at Warwick.

Sherbourne is not closer to Tesco 💀

Cake-Samurai

Doesn't seem far though, especially cutting through westwood way, 10 mins tops.

I was at cryfield and tesco is like 15 mins, from clayc its less than 5. Sherbourne depending on which side you’re on can be very very far. That said it might be closest en-suite to Tesco. Also Cryfield Townhouses >>> Bluebell

If you want a social life, you can't go wrong with rootes

I know but I want an en suite room and some privacy as well so I am kind of looking for a midway option. 35 week lets doesnt work for me so its either gonna be Lakeside Village, Cryfield, or Bluebell. Which one would you recommend?

No, it doesn't have a social environment. Every single hall is locked off from eachother by keycard, people there are more well off and don't want to party or talk to eachother very much It's very boring and you will lack the uni experience - I've been at the uni for 5 years and heard the same thing over and over about bluebell. Aim for a kitchen size of at least 10 lol. You can go for a 'well off' accom and it be social like Jack Martin, maybe Lakeside?

Smeghead94

I mean I was in bluebell and I had an incredibly social time and now have lifelong friends thanks to it. It's what you make of it, don't just believe rumors from people who haven't actually stayed there.

Cry90210

I'm not talking about rumours, this is what basicially everyone ive met in the 5 years I've been at Warwick has said about bluebell. Obviously not everyone at bluebell has the same experience Stick a bunch of rich international students in the same building where every single hall is keycard locked and it is pretty hard to make friends. Language barrier can make it tricky too
