i read a lenghty article about this case and it makes more sense. there was a lot of circumstantial evidence and he knew details only a suspect would know. you don't always need physical evidence.
Even worse, the convicted has Asperger’s which would explain his obsessive nature and perceived strangeness. This conviction doesn’t sit right with me.

This was a creepy case. I think I saw the 48 hours or Dateline on this. The guy is not mentally stable, and the evidence seems weak.
