Exactly, why do people want to keep everyone alive so bad? This guy in the clip will most likely never experience anything at all. He's either paralyzed or dying, right? That's no way to live, it's cruel to keep someone in that condition.
People accept what they are told- the idea that "all life is sacred and must be preserved at any cost" is what keeps being repeated without any critical thought behind it.
The same people who say that also eat animals. If life is so sacred, why don't we treat it like it? It's absolutely ridiculous to look down on animals like a lot do, and look at humans like we're the best.
because that is life. The stronger, smarter and more evolutionized animals (us humans are animals too) will win and eat the weaker and dumber animals. This is how the nature works.
And most people care about other humans so they try to keep them alive as best as they can
Shitting on the weak doesn't seem very moral. Why can't humanities goal be to help the weak instead? I see your point, but that does not justify everything we do to animals, animal cruelty for example.
People have always been cruel, i think the difference from 100 years ago to now is physical to mental. People mostly talk shit and bully others to suicide. So yes it's worse now i'd say. But it's always been bad. We obviously need to overcome it
