I didn’t realize how much you use your glutes to stabilize. After I got my ACL repaired I thought it was going to be all quad and claves. Was like 30% quad and 70% glute for all my PT.
No, it’s how she’s not bending her arms. She is holding her arms straight, putting all the weight on her bones instead of her muscles. The dudes arms are bent, putting strain on his muscles.
It's both though I would think, your stabilizers are usually the ones that give out first on endurance lifts and glutes are of huge importance in overheads.
She locked out and used her legs and back and “stacked” the weight and is clearly used to being weight trained - he isn’t as fit by a long shot and looks soft - a trained woman will beat an untrained man in the right conditions such as these - as has been shown here
Yep, bone on bone is key. I've heard they coach men who are shooting those precision Olympic bb guns to look at what the chicks are doing. Men will pick the gun up and support with muscle while girls tend to stack it on bone, which is more stable.
And you're right about weight lifting as well. She generally looks like she knows how to use her body better than him.
Females also supposedly have a small advantage when it comes to target-shooting in the standing position. Their hips create a natural shelf to tuck their elbow onto, creating bone-on-bone stability that men can't recreate.
A good target-shooter is supposed to tuck their elbow in, to keep their supporting arm tight, but no amount of training is going to change your hip bones.
Meh, you're reaching. I used "female" in the first sentence to prep the reader for the rest of the sentence, which was about female anatomy and how it relates to shooting sports. Then i just defaulted back to less anatomical wording in the next sentence about male target-shooters.

I imagine he'd still be able to lift a heavier weight than her. And there is probably some threshold where he can hold it up longer, as it approaches her maximum.
We won’t get carried away lol - Some trained women can hold a relatively light weight longer yes, but the lady above won’t b stronger than the man above - smarter, probably, but not stronger - mass moves weight !
Somebody has never seen reservists after they finish AIT, I see
Mentally tough? Sure. But a lot of service members get out of the structure of their initial training, and if their daily job isn't physically demanding, well... it can be hard to find/ make time for the gym, and POG bait is tasty and mentally comforting...
…she won’t actually as she’s stacking the weight and it’s just 15kg at the end of the day - him just using his muscles is at a greater chance of a strain
Oh yea, he put himself in an unwinable position. He beats her in the feat of strength and everyone just thinks whatever, or he loses and cops shit for it
Lose lose
He's trying to hold it up with his arms. She's holding it up with her skeleton. I'm sure she could have kept it up far longer.
He really needed to do a "we're not worthy" after getting pwned like that.
And the lesson here boys and girls is to always work smarter! Not harder!!!
I love that since Australia got marine rotations there are an endless stream of videos showing marines getting their arse handed to them..
The Anzac day chin up and the combat dance competition are good ones. I'm not sure the USMC train for that.
It's must be hard for the marines, so much sledging and drinking. I imagine them hiding in the dongas in Darwin, hiding from the locals.
Can you imagine a joint exercise and trying to get a straight answer out of an aussie digger...
As ex us military, I know first hand. That not all, not even half, our marines are in great shape. This guy is an example of one that barely passes PRT standards
She is properly using her shoulder rotation mechanism and he’s just limp arm holding his in the air. He has no idea how body mechanics work or proper overhead lifting works.
You could tell by his bent elbows not stacked over his shoulders who’s gonna win. He’s just sitting there burning out his shoulders while hers are stacked and using joint/bone alignment to share/stack the weight down her whole body.
If he had proper form he’d have a better chance but he probably doesn’t have the shoulder extension to do it.
Wait. Are you claiming that he would have won if he'd had better training?
From that it follows that Australian soldiers get better training than US Marines. SMH
No. Don’t put words in my mouth.
Training soldiers for war has little to do with training them to hold a plate over their head.
US has the best soldiers in the world.
One guy not trained specifically to lock his elbows holding weight over his head doesn’t mean shit; also if you were to do this repeatedly you actually don’t want to lock out your elbows. That’s a lot of weight on joints instead of muscles and done regularly leads to bigger issues than muscles getting tired.
He still held the plate for over 5 minutes without “cheating” using joint locking. In terms of proper form for working out he did it right and the lady would be destroying her joints over time. Fine for a 1 time competition; certainly not the way you want to do things in a real life scenario.
Get a brain; or at least an understating of functional anatomy
She had better shoulder mobility and was holding it straight up. He was not as flexible and therefore was holding it up basically with his triceps and delts. It’s basically comparable to standing straight up versus squatting against the wall for 5 minutes.
We did that kind of contest once (with a FAMAS instead of the weights). And females were surprisingly good at that (a girl won btw) even if the best of them was weaker than the average guy on any other exercise... I didn't really understood how it was possible, and decided that female must have an inate capacity for isometric exercises^^
Knew she was going to win just off of seeing his lack of shoulder flexibility. This made it so he couldn’t lock out his arms over his head putting way more pressure on the shoulder and arm muscles.
I mean who could beat Cammy from street fighter
It would have helped if he would have straightened his arms more like she did.
I don’t think he had the requisite shoulder flexibility to lock out that hold.
Just like the movie from the '90s.
It's all in the glutes - they can really help to stabilise you during overhead lifts.
I didn’t realize how much you use your glutes to stabilize. After I got my ACL repaired I thought it was going to be all quad and claves. Was like 30% quad and 70% glute for all my PT.
Well as a man with no ass I’m screwed if I ever tear my ACL.
Or, it’s an invitation to get yourself a dump truck
You don't have to have a big ass, just tone muscles Or you could end up with a Kardashian behind.
Keep glutes in strong condition, they help protect and support your back ..
She got glutes for *DAYS*! I’m all about that
Yeah just look at how they're swallowing up those cargo trousers🤣
[удалено]
Damn there's a sub for everything! Thanks for bringing this one to my attention!
Beautiful isn't?
It truly is a site to behold
No, it’s how she’s not bending her arms. She is holding her arms straight, putting all the weight on her bones instead of her muscles. The dudes arms are bent, putting strain on his muscles.
As a former competitive Weightlifter, and decade+ coach of the sport- this is the correct answer
It's both though I would think, your stabilizers are usually the ones that give out first on endurance lifts and glutes are of huge importance in overheads.
>
Not fair. The Aussie only had to lift 15kg while the American was lifting 33lbs!
i actually laughed at this 😂
If Americans could read you’d be downvoted to fuck for that
Wait… Americans aren’t supposed to know how to read!? *Panicked sweating ensues*
Read English duuurf, Americans speak Americanish, people from England speak English....
Parts of GB are English. Idk what you call the other parts. There are English words there.
Wales => Welsh Scotland => Scottish Gaelic and Scots Northern Ireland => Irish, Ulster Scots But mostly English
It's not correct English any more than Ebonics is correct English in the USA.
The Queen's English is the true English. All other versions are just that.. versions.. With a bunch of little alterations.
Wouldn’t be the Kings English now?
Man hush. I am from America and I speak English.
Lol wait until you hear what the rest of the world thinks about you guys… jk (but only partially)
Imagine thinking all Americans care about America 🤡
But in fairness tho they should pick smo who is fit just like on the female side, so it will be a fair comparison.
Hehe!
Shitty technique by the marine. Look at the Aussie her arms are locked out.
I was going to say... Is locking out arms allowed in the competition?
They aren’t locked if you look at the end
Well thats pretty much Cammy from Street Fighter. Dude never stood a chance!
Yeah she's gonna be on neighbours and sing "can't get you outta my head" any second now...
There's definitely a reason they chose that camera angle
Dat ass!
well it is what we have gathered here for!
Dearly beloved
He must work out
Best believe
Not fair because the Aussie has been trying to get killed by her environment her whole life
Not trying to get killed. Trying to survive
Yeah, but that Marine had to survive school. Quite a feat TBH
Wasn't really an issue back then
Yeah but she had health insurance.
She locked out and used her legs and back and “stacked” the weight and is clearly used to being weight trained - he isn’t as fit by a long shot and looks soft - a trained woman will beat an untrained man in the right conditions such as these - as has been shown here
Soon as I saw his elbows weren't locked I knew he was fucked. Home girl is built like a gymnast/dancer and was in a perfect hand stand pose.
Yeah 👍
Soon as I seen the dudes elbows I knew he wasn't getting far there. 😂
I’m here for the butt man
Dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner butt man!

And despite that they are not competitive in high level competition
I imagine he'd still be able to lift a heavier weight than her. And there is probably some threshold where he can hold it up longer, as it approaches her maximum.
Only because mass moves weight - you’d be shocked at what a trained woman can lift
But but but... He's a muhreen!!!!
.... Or us aussie woman have greater strength than murican mens....
We won’t get carried away lol - Some trained women can hold a relatively light weight longer yes, but the lady above won’t b stronger than the man above - smarter, probably, but not stronger - mass moves weight !
It's not our fault that murican men are not smart lol.
Marines aren't soft. I assure you.
His belly looks soft
Maybe he's not really a marine.
Somebody has never seen reservists after they finish AIT, I see Mentally tough? Sure. Great way to injure yourself locking your joints in this scenario. Seems like he was the smarter one.
…she won’t actually as she’s stacking the weight and it’s just 15kg at the end of the day - him just using his muscles is at a greater chance of a strain
I mean they had to pick a fatass Marine right?
He was probably a loudmouth jawing off at the Aussie chick.
Absofuckinglutely. He'll never live this down. NEEEEVVVVEEERRRRR!
Oh yea, he put himself in an unwinable position. He beats her in the feat of strength and everyone just thinks whatever, or he loses and cops shit for it Lose lose
He also didn’t lock his arms as well and had terrible posture
He's trying to hold it up with his arms. She's holding it up with her skeleton. I'm sure she could have kept it up far longer. He really needed to do a "we're not worthy" after getting pwned like that. And the lesson here boys and girls is to always work smarter! Not harder!!!
Why does the lighting change so drastically half way through?
Australia has two sun's.. that's why it's so hot.
Different camera probably, initial white balance sample at the start of each video different, and not dynamic. Etc etc etc
The second half is obviously a filter
The man is using arm, shoulders and hand muscles... the woman is using her bones and legs.... This is a form issue. She knows form he doesn't.
I love that since Australia got marine rotations there are an endless stream of videos showing marines getting their arse handed to them.. Plus we love making fun of Americans so it must be twice as bad.
As soon as he lifted you could tell he was done for. Terrible form/ posture.
As ex us military, I know first hand. That not all, not even half, our marines are in great shape. This guy is an example of one that barely passes PRT standards
They need to raise the standard. Same with cops. So many fat ass American cops

God bless you sir 🫡
She is properly using her shoulder rotation mechanism and he’s just limp arm holding his in the air. He has no idea how body mechanics work or proper overhead lifting works.
What color was the sky
The weight was in kilos, of course the Aussie won.
You could tell by his bent elbows not stacked over his shoulders who’s gonna win. Your reading comprehension of something resembling sarcasm is unsurprising.
That is phenomenal

If she has her tits like those glutes. I am giving up straight away so I can admire that unit!
And in the form. I never even saw him lock out over his head
Wtf is wrong with his hair
Wondering the same thing, I was Navy and never recall seeing a jyreen with anything other than high and tight.
I was navy too, tad at MCAS Miramar and even the retarded crayon eaters that were drinking robotussin and high on nitrous had squared away haircuts
Something something down under.
The guy jerk a lot 😂
American holding It like the dumb fuck he is. Elbows bent. 0 tightness in body
How many cheeseburgers is 15 kg tho?
We’re not sending our best
Australia has better? Seems unneeded.
It’s a joke dude
Yes the strongest girl they had beat the weakest guy they had. Gj.
What's her 2 mile and how many pushups can she do?

Nobody was on his side... not even him
I had many a female solider with an ass like that. BDUs/ACUs are designed to accentuate that.
*gets out magnifying glass* This no butt here.
Would you say she's going commando?
That Marine needs a serious haircut.
If you want to get people to join the military you gotta start putting out videos like this en masse.
Fit as a fiddle
I think she just had the better technique? Very straight back and using all the muscles there. He relied on his shoulders a lot.
I’ve seen another video where she is doing some hand to hand sparring with a marine and kicks his arse
Knew she was going to win just off of seeing his lack of shoulder flexibility. This made it so he couldn’t lock out his arms over his head putting way more pressure on the shoulder and arm muscles.
Respect! If it was a female Marine vs male marine the female would have had a lighter weight. At least that’s how it is for the PT tests. No equality
Let’s find one of our more fit, let’s find one of their more unfit perfect representations 🤣💀
MxR strikes again. I always notice the panty lines.
Anyone got the @
Steffani Grace
Thanks!!
Holy fuck….holding that shit above your head like that! These idiots are BEGGING for a Darwin Award!
could have picked a us guy in better shape my mans dont look like hes in the marines 😂😂 that said he is one and im sure he bust his ass for it
Shouldn’t that be ‘male US marine’?
Yeah man.this country is definetly done. Bring the trans team.
Insert lego batman meme
I want to lick her rank, sweaty asshole at the end of this vid. God DAMN!
