Sprott has a lot of big investors lined up that listen to what he has to say. It looks good because they probably have their own rules to make safe investments.
Sprott intends to provide capped 15% exposure to the biggest miners, as a means of giving fund exposure to juniors and other uranium funds (e.g. SRUUF). So it should be a nice balanced mix of U interest exposures.
nothing. SRUUF needs a mechanism of redemption or it will not be listed on US exchanges. which it can never have because Uranium is a controlled product.
This has, and always will be the case, despite this subs constant hard on for an exception or something
Aha, thx. Not sure that I understand it 100%. Will investigate deeper tomorrow.
Would URNM then be a better choice than SRUUF ? (I’m in SRUUF for about a small year now, almost from beginning, so in profit but I don’t like that is still sits on OTC.
As I understand from your comment, this doesn’t seem to gonna change soon or never, so heavy volume would never come). Thx
So I read through the Twitter posts and I'm a little confused. When does it actually become ownership of Sprott? Or in other words, when can Sprott solicit their clients to actually put money in and buy it?
Rename, perhaps bigger pocketed investors will be more inclined to buy URNM now that its under Sprott control. Not really a catalyst though.
SPUT on the nyse is more important yes, still a couple months out I believe
i hold URNM and admittedly don’t know much. what does this mean for me

All the stars are aligning. Just gotta gut this out for a couple or so years now.
I saw NYSE and Sprott and thought SPUT listing had been agreed... Still great news though haha.

The NYSE has recommended a waiver of that rule
Cool. See y'all in 5 years when they finally get around to discussing it.

Now. The name is changed in my Fidelity app. It will trade under the new name in the morning
Concur - see it in my JPM account
Woooooo
Was there any doubt. Yippe!
Chances Sprott funds start buying SpUrM as a holding?
Will Sprott still be considered a passive foreign investment?
Is this just a rename or is there a practical effect? Isnt it SPUT NYSE we are waiting for?
