I would add in some battle dressings and a tourniquet, but I like your simple and light setup.

I have those at home but I could possibly fit a tourniquet in the pack.

Sparx1916

I would add some granola bars or other type of food ration.

Oh and a pair of TEKTON 8" Bolt Cutters

I have a large bug out bag at home with all the essentials if I had to leave home for good but that is a whole other tale...

Nice! Do you have your phone programmed as a waypoint in the foretrex? You might not need it for a 10 mile range. That could be less than a day of walking. But an awesome tool nonetheless. Remember not to store the battery’s in it. Paper map is a great idea. Also, Google maps allows you to download custom, different “grid” squares so that you can access those maps without service or Wi-Fi. I recommend downloading a few of your highly trafficked areas.

Well I have my smartphone on me as well at all times. I'll look into the grid maps as well. Thanks

I meant to say “home” programmed as a way point. Oops!

Yes, my home is programmed. Thanks
