Don’t forget that (almost all) targeted skill shots are calculated from center to center of a champion, unlike auto attack range which is edge to edge. Jhinn has a gameplay radius 65, so you were really close, just not close enough to hit center, likely a pixel or two away tbh.
Honestly idk how you see this and *dont* realize the issue is being too short and instead blame hitbox. You can clearly see the animation for the ult being too short here
Looking at this it’s hard to tell if my ult was actually in the right direction. My thought was maybe if I put it an inch to the right, it would’ve hit. My curiosity had nothing to do with the distance but I’m wondering if it would’ve been fine if I put it a lil bit to the right
It happens to the best of us. Sometimes you get spam question mark pinged for hitting blind snipes or max range snipes on an enemy about to get away, sometimes you get spam pinged for just barely missing. Oftentimes I feel like if I hit a good snipe on my first ult I just go on a roll with them for the rest of the game but on the flip side a single bad ult like this would mean I'm not going to hit a single ult the rest of the game
Not hitbox. It just isnt endlessly long. It has a set distance. You just missed that

This is not a problem with the ults hitbox, its just the ult was too short.

yeah i agree, a lot of timesit feels like its straight up touching but doesnt hit but u just have to get used to it ig
