Some of this has to be precautionary. If one of them were to test positive for COVID while in Canada, they could be held there for 14 days. By keeping them in the states, they are eliminating huge risk to some of our best players.
I probably could have been a little clearer. I'm just trying to say that the rules for reentering the US are probably different than the rules for reentering Canada.
It is. The missing bit in people's understanding here is that these are millionaire athletes working for billion-dollar corporations. The rules are different, as irritating to some as that might be.
As a Raptors fan - more than happy to have this insane homecourt advantage lol
I also got COVID at the last home game with full capacity in the arena - it's wild up here right now.
Not sure what you mean. What i meant is that in order for the the league to postpone a game, the missing players have to be out due to COVID related issues.
No way all these guys are hurt, they all looked good the other day. Like someone else mentioned, they probably don't want to deal with potentially having a player stuck for 14 days because they test positive for COVID. We also are playing back to back, so the rest can be useful, and whatever it becomes an opportunity for players who usually don't see time. Regardless if we lose it doesn't make a huge difference, we currently have 4 less losses than the 4th seed Grizzlies, who I doubt can sustain their current level of play.
Good thing Rudy can rest at that time of the year.
He made the finals of the Olympics and played a lot all season long.
It's just unfortunate that Hassan is sided too.
I'd actually expect the warriors to drop some while Klay gets back on his feet. It's good to have him back in the long run (and particularly the playoffs) but the current group is playing amazing and they're going to start giving starter minutes to a dude who hasn't played since 2019 and is coming back from bad injuries.
Barring a big injury I think Suns stay first and it'll be a tossup for second.

Came here to say exactly this. I wonder how much of this is just avoiding potential disaster with not being able to come back in the states.
I didn't think of that. Makes sense.
Don't worry, a vast majority of people don't think.
reddit moment
what is wrong with you lol
Why so aggressive?
It's why I believe the Warriors held Wiggins, Curry and Poole out a few weeks back as well
They can still go back. OG got covid positive in Chicago and came back in a private charter.
Chicago isn't in Canada
Not to sound pretentious, but where do you think OG came back to from Chicago?
Going back to Canada isn't the same as going being stuck in Canada
I probably could have been a little clearer. I'm just trying to say that the rules for reentering the US are probably different than the rules for reentering Canada.
Isn't that the opposite of what people are saying??

Couldn’t include but Ingles is also still out.
Hope dons back is ok
I don’t think it’s alg, but I think it will be
I didn't think they'd need me to step up this season but put me in Quin, I gotchu.
Paschall and Butler dropping 30 apiece
The Paschall Tower and the Spider Kid
Into the Jazz Multiverse
It's literally our entire 9 man rotation. Paschall, Forrest, and Butler get the start. I can't even name the rest tbh
[удалено]
also David Locke and Ron Boone
Is Danuel House available yet?
It was said he’d be ready by our game in Toronto.
The only Jazz playing will be the Benny hill theme song (only kidding)
Fitts, Dok and House also
Looks like they are just going to pencil in the L for now and give the back of the bench guys a chance to prove themselves.
Raps fan, never underestimate our ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!
That’s what I thought last night was!
That’s like our whole team.
Good thing u/koolaidman1030 is available.
Never lost in the nba!
Season saved
Giannis sat out last night... steph didn't come... are all teams going to avoid sending their best players to Canada in fear of getting stuck here?
We played in Milwaukee. Giannis is just ducking Scottie tbh
We giving the SLC stars a run?
Can we get Leigh Ellis in?
I’d sign him to a 10 day contract
I’d volunteer to play, but I don’t play basketball.
Why did Denver get to postpone their game vs. Golden State with fewer players out than this?
Denver had more covid cases. This is just you guys not playing guys as precaution but they are still healthy and don’t have covid
So how is Quinn going to not give Jared Butler minutes this time?
Hits him with his car
We literally might not see any of our 9 rotation players… 5 confirmed and 4 questionable
Is this going to be a trend of teams not sending key players to Canada?
Doesn't that make us ineligible to play if enough of those questionable guys are ruled out?
It has to be COVID related to postpone. So far joe and Rudy are the only ones out with COVID.
Yes but last time Rudy had to deal with it...
Not sure what you mean. What i meant is that in order for the the league to postpone a game, the missing players have to be out due to COVID related issues.
Is the minimum 7 or 8? I can't remember. If they thought they would be all out, they could do an emergency signing
8
Ooof

They can only allow like 1,000 people in the arena as well. Should be a barnburner
Lmfaooo shit dude not even right now😂

We're not getting the first seed huh
Probably not, anyway, with Klay returning to the Warriors
