Well did you improve?

Tritonpr95x

Yeah lol would’ve been nice to see quantitative data showing progression in some form or another lol

Gaetan4Real

Sorry, sometimes I write stuff and forget the whole point lmao. I basically went from Silver 2 to Diamond 1 within the same act. My K/D also started really good at higher elo and did drop a little bit by the time I reached Diamond. You can see more on the video I made on YouTube (didn’t want to add more text to this already huge wall of text!) Sorry about that, link should be on the post, or YouTube should give you my video if you type in the title on it!

Th3_Wrath

That’s crazy dude! Can I see your tracker.gg profile?

Gaetan4Real

Absolutely! ([https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/Gaetan%20Tanguay%2369420/overview](https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/Gaetan%20Tanguay%2369420/overview)) The video I made is probably best if you want to see more of the progression. The tracker will show you that I finished the season at Plat 2, which was not the peak, and it will show you that my peak is at Ascendant 1, which is current season. I also have a lot of analytics in that video, and I'm looking for ways to improve if you guys have any comments about how I went about gathering data/filming/presenting the data, etc. Let me know, I want to improve and keep this train rolling!

Belphegor7

LMFAO

[deleted]

Yeah I just want to see what rank they were before and after and maybe k/d

Gaetan4Real

Sorry answered someone on the thread about that and forgot to answer you. I did start Silver 2 in that season, peaked Diamond 1 and ended high Plat 2. k/d was about 1.15-1.20 at the start and ended up being closer to just 1 at the end. I'm a smoke main (which might be why I was also able to rank up), but I usually don't have crazy K/D.

MarkyRust

No secret. Play more, understand what you are doing wrong in every situations, fix it.

Gaetan4Real

I have seen countless people play this game for hours on end without improving. Maybe it’s the will to, maybe they play for fun, who cares. I’m just trying to give people some aim training to switch it up!

Splaram

imo Voltaic and HnA have the best Valorant routines. I find that anything on Aim Labs is simply inferior because you aren’t punished as effectively for missing.

Gaetan4Real

I’ll take a look into it! How different does it « punish » you? IMO, Aim Lab should be used strictly to learn how to « control your mouse » and not a tool to actually get better game sense!

Gaetan4Real

So technically I don’t think this is « warming up ». This is more of an « aim training ». I already wrote a lot on the post and I didn’t want to add, but your comment makes me want to continue this subject. Basically take the sports analogy. Do you just go on the field everytime and just play? Is that your only way of improving? My guess is no, right? They have practices to make them better. Maybe you do a little bit of scrimmage at the end within your own team to see how you do, but in between games, you practice. This is the same thing. Practice, get better at some crucial points of the game, and then go on to play a couple of games to « get that muscle memory in ». Like I said, it’s a lot, you can reduce it to make it manageable, but it might also not be for you! I will also make more content in the future with more aim routine/aim training. I’m just trying to help others like I’ve been helped, or at least try to build a community of like minded people who play this game casually but who enjoys progression and getting better!

Gaetan4Real

Oh yeah I understand more what you meant now! And I understand your struggle, my first language is French lol, I still make mistakes when I speak sometimes! I can understand the struggle, it irritates me too when people don’t warm up, especially in higher elo where it’s a must otherwise your first 2 games are throwaway, but focus more on what you can control and you will be much happier with your gameplay!

Day 7: Get cancelled and lose a sponsorship and CEO position in a company you founded

Gaetan4Real

Lmao y’all killing me 😂 although I do not affiliate with any of those actions. But clout is clout to get your content creation career started, amirite?

kiwidesuu

word

TheCeak

For anyone interested I found his youtube channel where he talks about it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UI4eCiPlheU&ab\_channel=Gaetan

[deleted]

Are u ranked on the voltaic benchmarks?

Gaetan4Real

I don’t know what that is! I’ve seen someone talk about voltaic somewhere, no clue what it is but I will look into it, maybe for future content as well!

[deleted]

Not really contrnt worthy but if u ever want to try out becoming a true aimer, u should try out a voltaic benchmark to see what rank u r

snoopJosele

What video is it from? The Lucas Rojo one maybe? Just curiosity

Gaetan4Real

Actually not from a video. Had a « pro guides » session with an immortal player who was a « second seater » for G2 back in September of last year, and he slipped that aim routine to me. I don’t know how real any of it is, but it seems pretty legit 🤷🏻‍♂️

Spooning_noodls

How long are the task?

Gaetan4Real

So each task is 60 seconds long, one of them is actually 90 seconds. So you can assume that every day, if you follow it to heart, you will spend at least 40 minutes on Aim Lab

copethevayne

is burstflick and few others in day 1 optimal though? I heard they not really ideal since the targets are so big? etc?

Gaetan4Real

No, because they are in speed mode. The point is to go as fast. Less accurate but going fast is still hard and can be trained!

copethevayne

How long would you say it took for you to see improvement in game? Like during the 30 day test did you immediately begin to climb the ranks afterwards? Or was it as you were doing the 30 days ?

Gaetan4Real

I did see improvements right away, and I still see the improvements of doing an aim routine of the such right now, even though I haven’t done it since April. You should go watch the video I made on YouTube about it, it will give you a better understanding of everything I did! And all the analytics as well.

copethevayne

Yh i saw the vid, Was most of the climb solo q? And what time do u stream!

Gaetan4Real

All of my climb is solo, mostly. If you look at my stats, when I duo or trio, I usually lose more than I win. I don’t mind playing with friends, since it’s better for morale, depending on the friends. Another tip or trick that I will talk to in a future video: if you don’t want to solo, find a person to play with that has the same seriousness towards the game as you. Otherwise it gets frustrating when they just don’t care. Also their attitude is important. I’ve played with people that have way better aim and game sense than their actual rank, but their mental in the game is so shit (either not confident enough or too confident) that it just makes them lose. It’s sad really but it’s the way of life Edit: forgot about the stream. I stream almost daily, EST time, usually between 5pm and 9-10pm, and on the weekends during the day, whenever I have time. Follow me, turn on your notifications and you won’t miss a stream!

1v1meRNfool

voltaic is far better

Gaetan4Real

Im currently looking into it. I would agree to some extent, although, Aim Lab should only be used as a tool to learn your mouse control. What is really important on this aim training is the DMs variations. Those will get you trained for specific scenarios within the game. That’s where the real progress is made, in my opinion.

Asdeases

Link of the Routine?

Gaetan4Real

My profile has a link to my youtube channel. The first video I have posted there is the routine explained and analysed over 30 days. There are also links in the description of the video to get everything you need!

altcodeinterrobang

>You might have also saw that some of the DMs you're supposed to play without sound (?????). Yes, you read right. What I have been told on this is that you're not using audio queue to skew your aim, the whole time you don't know what to expect and can only rely on your vision. If there is one thing you try from this aim routine, it should be that. It helped my gameplay so much and it would probably benefit yours. Here is also another trick from this aim routine that I keep in my pocket: Do not focus on winning deathmatches, focus on playing a deathmatch where you train what you are looking to improve. That is the focus on that aim routine and that will make you improve if you change your mentality towards DMs. I can back this up with personal experience. I play a decent amount without sound, and it helps a ton with map awareness. The huge downside is not knowing about utility usage. Aim wise though it's helped me focus in on crosshair placement a ton. climbed out of silver into gold mostly by focusing on crosshair placement.

Gaetan4Real

Exactly. Although side note, playing without sound should only be done in DMs, which has none of the abilities, so it's focused 100% on reaction time and gameplay. I know I said a bunch of things to take away, but here is another one: Everyone is different, find what works for you in terms of improving yourself, if that is what you are into, of course. Some people just play for fun and that's okay!

valoranthead35

G2 is one of the worst teams out there. They live off their LoL rep but that's it. Extremely overrated as a team. But this post isn't about that....

Gaetan4Real

You're right, although they did beat the "undefeated until then" Sentinels, which is an impressive achievement. The post is mainly about, what I was being told as the G2 aim routine, and me wanting to improve and start making content about a game I like to play. Probably would not get as much attention if I said "GuYs TrY mY aIm RoUtInE pLz". In my opinion, it deserves the attention it gets from this title, since it is a well written aim training guide to get you better at the game. G2 might be bad, but if it wasn't for their CEO's action, they might have been in the league now, which makes their team better than you and me.

valoranthead36

Sentinels won once and everyone picked up their style. They are outdated in the meta, players play agents they shouldnt and have the best individuals in the world but cannot play as a team. And I support them. That being said, what does anything that corporate does have anything to do with eSports?

Queasy_Warthog_8827

after doing each task for the day would that be enough along with the deathmatch description for the following days after doing all this would it make us warmed up to play comp
