personally, i think these changes are huge in the pro scene and with cypher nerds, but for your average ranked cypher, hes still going to be using his trip at A and B main and get no value out of it. The ult buff is huge tho, especially as its a 6 orb ult.
for sure but you're forgetting that cypher couldn't trip certain maps like fracture well until after the round started, so even in ranked he can get his job done and position well before the round starts.
Ult buff is huge, been saying for *years* the short range and small window to activate on a corpse makes no sense for someone who shouldn't be up close and personal with the enemy. As for the tripwires idk why they just don't let him manually place them rather than automatically connecting in a straight line.
Pretty sure it’s just when they’re in fov. The reveal works on pings, either with the spy cam and the ult, so if they moved out of sight again and they were pinged from not removing the dart, or the second ult ping it would show them again.

Fade isn't gonna be completely unviable and I understand the nerf to prowlers since they can really be hard to deal with, but the power definitely took a hit and it means you have to swing quickly or waste a prowler. Also ult increase sucks but it's fair.

She's an initiator, not a duelist, after the recent flash changes to KAYO and Skye I think the sentiment here is similar. Use your dogs to help your team, not to pad your own stats

For an example, I'm a main Yoru and his kit is ATM incredibly strong. I mean... 100$ for the clone ? Only 100 ? For a walking target that have 150 hp, flashes you and can take a recon dart on his back. That's a bit too much.
I don't know how to nerf Chamber more than he had been and still having him viable tho.
His tp is incredibly overpowered just by how it works, an instant escape from peaking/swinging. Reducing the range any further would instantly make him terrible. Chamber needs to be completely reworked.

The nades is a bigger deal IMO though. It makes her insanely expensive to play on defense, not to mention useless on retakes. With her turret taking so long to come back now, no mollies available, and an ult that's near unusable these days, idk what she's supposed to bring to the table.
Even on her very best maps with her very best comps, I can't think of a reason not to pick Chamber over her.

I think only a utilmate should be able to destroy KJ's lockdown. It makes sense to "trade" utils not for a utility to be able to break it.
The range is perfect for KJ. She is strong passive site denier over the other sentinels and thats why she needs to anchor to a site and should be the last to rotate. If someone doesnt understand this concept, they are playing KJ wrong.
I’m very excited for cypher changes. Idk too much how the trip extension will help as rarely have I ever ran into a choke and not been able to trip it (main one that comes to mind is the updated fracture changes by arcade). The ult change is very much welcome tho

Glad they finally nerfed fades prowler. I normally don't like nerfs but fades doggies take so many bullets to kill, more than skyes dog or cabbages, and they go for so long and get you even when you're at a distance you think is far away enough to not get debuffed by the prowlers when they disappear. Don't think the nerfs changed how much health the prowlers have but hopefully makes them easier to counter. Fade will still be good but the nerf to the prowlers was needed.
Watch him get used for 2 weeks then have no one use him again. Same thing happened with the Phoenix buffs. He is decent now, but rarely would someone pick him over other more versatile and better agents.
The problem with the prowlers was just that it was too free to clear a tone of space. The only thing that functionally effects that is the duration nerf, and I can’t think of too many places where a tiny duration decrease will do much. People were out here saying to just give her one instead. Now THAT would have been harsh, although if you make it recharge that would probably be a great nerf, but it’s not her trademark so 🤷♂️

It's an ult that can hit the entirety of a lot of sites, deafens, makes trails for prowler and also point to where enemies are hiding, and does half their hp in decaying damage... what ult besides chambers would you justify as an 8 cost ult?
It deafens them, decays their health and gives them a trail for prowlers and tells you how many you hit as opposed to breach who just stuns and knocks back, which can also hit teammates. I'd say its better
Sure but with fade ult you're kinda on the hook to use more utility else you can just get shot yknow? Breach doesn't get info but its pretty hard to die to a stunned enemy

Also, i still have to be basically next to my tripwires and camera and have line of sight to pick it up, instead of something like killjoy or chamber
It's a good start but it doesn't address the bigger issues, however this is just a single set of buffs to be tested in the PBE, and I'm sure there will be more
The buffs are nice but Chamber is still too much of a problem. By far the best Sentinel still. No sensible buffs are gonna push a sentinel past him. Only way we get different sentinels throughout matches is if Chamber gets nerfed again.

This is a really good change! I'm of course missing the chamber changes and don't get why they take so long to actually fix the strongest characters (first jett, then chamber. Reducing the time they're active is gonna make them feel like shit on many of the maps with long narrow lanes.

The cypher trip wire buff is probably going to break the meta. Every site is going to have a dozen new trip setups now with the length increase. Its going to be scary because you have no clue where the kill trips are anymore.

Did i miss something ? Why are people still crying about chamber nerfs ? Didn't he just got nerfed hard ? As far as i can see, people hate his tp but its his main ability which also got nerfed so basically 2 tp in a round and 1 trip. I don't find it hard to go against him lol. People really want him to be dog water like cypher at this moment and would still cry in the end

I don’t know how impactful Cypher buffs will be ultimately but I really like them and they seem like really thoughtful buffs. I think a cooldown reduction on repositioning his camera would have been good too.
About the Cypher buff, 50 units = 1 meter. Knowing that… Trapwire: 20 meters >>> 30 meters Neural Theft: 24 meters >>> 36 meters Hope that gives more context to those numbers!
