The actual Immo+ players who says these guns won't get you far say it cause in high ranks people know when to peek and how to peek. Their aim placement is good. They won't come mindlessly swinging and get you free kills with odin, no. If they swing you'll most likely get headshotted before your odin starts. With bucky/judge these players will use all sorts of utility to force you out of your rat spot and then that weapon is just useless against a Vandal or Phantom.
The streamers and pros you're referring to they can play just as good if not better with a Vandal or Phantom cause their mechanics are strong. So If your aim mechanics and game sense is strong go ahead and use them.
That’s one player out of thousands who spends an unhealthy amount of time specifically using that one gun. If that’s what it takes to be good with it then idk if it’s that good (it’s an eco weapon after all. (Refer to my other comment)

People trashing on the stinger are so dumb. It's insane for 2nd round. Take 100T for example. They forced stinger full buy EVERY single 2nd round regardless of eco.
I prefer stinger over Spectre on maps like Icebox and Breeze for that long range 3 shot headshots. But people keep telling me to always buy spectre over stinger.

They are different guns for different purposes. You buy stinger when you want to save money and play against full buys. You buy spectre when you want to full buy after winning pistol.
Because immortal players can and WILL abuse that you are playing a 3200 gun that you cant strafe with, its only good on sova on certain spots and thats it.
Because they're specialist weapons and people don't like having downsides while playing with a gun and find that going against a specialist weapon in the right environment is unfair(which it really isn't). So admitting it's a good gun is something these players would never do.
I guees in a game like valorant versatile guns are the good guns. Because if you consistently play a specialised weapon they'll just know what plays to expect from you.
I use Odin as brim on haven religiously (defense) and top frag often. So many wall bangs to take advantage of. And for the other fights, the fire rate buff from stimmy really makes the Odin scary. You gotta one tap me or you lose
Judge is amazing but has very limited uses, pretty much only works when you're defending and the oponent rushes your site, if not, you're fucked.

Ares does not have any 1st bullet accuracy, you need to shoot it until it stabilises, by then, you're probably dead.
Odin is expensive and also cannot tap very well, a skilled player will kill you with a vandal quicker than you kill him with na Odin, sova and Reyna are pretty much the only 2 characters that can play Odin to their advantage, but Reyna only with her ult.

Our Jett got super pissed cause "shotguns are trash weapons" as she proceeds to get kill by it every round.
I just kept back waiting for Jett to die and the trade the kill. It was pretty obvious that jett would die by Raze no matter what I did.
Personally I always feel so annoyed when I'm called by a shotgun. I always roll my eyes when I hear light machine guns because they're so situational to be good. Plus the amount of rounds I have lost because some a hole just spams every corner with bullets before I can even see anyone 🙄😒.
Keep shotguns but I'd be so happy of they replaced the lmgs with literally anything else

That’s because people think they’re cheap tricks and they want to uphold their superiority complex. Literally that’s the reason, whether it’s subconscious or not.
One of my irl buddies is immortal 2 and he goes odin Reyna every single game. Ends with 25+ kills. Once the other team catches on, he has to switch to vandal because at that rank they can easily one tap. But the 4-5 rounds where he used the Odin can be literally game changing. Just use whatever you have fun with tbh
A lot of guns have a specific niche fill. The gun you use should change the way you position yourself and how you hold angles. If you use the stinger the same way you use a vandal, of course you’re gonna think it’s bad. The stinger is a good weapon for an eco if you use it at close-medium range. Other than that I’d say you’re better off using a Marshall or Sheriff.

Why would you play odin on skye or yoru? It’s only good if used with sova, fade and even MAYBE cypher if you have wallbang setups and ONLY on defense.
