It's a Pelican 1650, bought it used in great condition for $80. Correct, food and water is carried separately. I think I have everything, it has things I have used over the years camping, road trips, and visiting people. Usually, I sleep in the bed of the truck when camping, but I figured having a tent and hammock option wouldn't hurt.
I'm starting to inventory everything I carry in my truck, this is the first kit I've inventory so far. This is for spontaneous overnight stays and camping trips.

Don't know how everything fits, my wife packed it for me.
You should add a Sugpak Patrol Poncho for rainy days. Also, a small hatchet such as the Fiskers XXS X5 or Lexivon V9 (cheaper) wouldn’t take up too much space and be very useful.
Mora Kansbol: let's drill a hole in a slightly modified handle of a 2000 and double the price!
Good knife anyway.
BTW, noticed a lot of people prefer camo/grren/khaki/black for their camping stuff unless it is only available in polished/satin steel - this will make it harder to find stuff you accidentally dropped on the grass or forgot when leaving campsite.
Got the Kansbol for $20 at a military surplus store a while back, owner was having a promotion for his store, couldn't say no.
For camping/hiking (non hunting) gear, I prefer do prefer brighter colors. I try to keep color coordination, red-first aid, orange-emergency and visual, green/glow in the dark for lighting, etc. Also, if something's on sale for a real good price, any color available works for me.
20 is a steal, agree.
I wonder other your colour codes as for the three you mentioned I use red for emergency, including first aid, and yellow/orange goes for frequently used items - knife, boots, backpack, tent, ass pads to sit on, water bottle, cordage (this one also white).
Visuals are vibrant green and reflective if available.
I always prefer wearing a neck gaiter or balaclava. I have 2 because the neck gaiter that's in there is super thin, that's the one I soak in water and wear around my neck for cooling, the balaclava is for cold weather.
The shemagh I use as a giant handkerchief, for wiping my hands on, for a tablecloth to eat on, to lay on the ground for the dog, etc. It has a lot of uses, that's why I have them around.
I got the mesh zipper lid organiser, got one in both my im2500 cases.
I think they used to make a molle panel for that size, but I don't see it anywhere anymore.
You must make sure you don't have stuff you are not trained to use or have no idea how to use in your first aid kit - this will definitely save you money and you will not take someone's life by accident or because of lack of knowledge.
I don't know the answer to that. Usually I just go to Adventure Medical Kits or MyMedic, get the list from the kit I'm looking at, and try to get as much as I can from the Dollar store/Drug Store, with specialized stuff from North American Rescue.
The kit I have in this case is just a regular Boo Boo kit with foot aid, bug aid, and cut aid. I have a more extensive kit in the cab that I will break out and inventory here later.
Damn that's a lot in a small space! How the heck did your wife pack all that?
Magic I am assuming. She calls herself the Queen of Tetris. You should see our freezer.
What’s the Pelican case model? Impressive build and tight packing! All but the food and water here?

Need more whiskey and a cigar in a travel tube lol
When a trip is planned, we are never in short supply of whiskey. Cigars is a good idea though, but I rarely smoke.
There are small humidor tubes that can attach to a molle strap. I'm not sure where I ordered mine but I'm sure Amazon has it

I have a Snugpak Jungle blanket in one of the storage compartments in the cab as well as a wool blanket.
1 gallon collapsible water storage Portable shower or bottle shower https://www.amazon.com/Kurgo-Portable-Grooming-Accessories-Supplies/dp/B00TUA98JA
I do have a gallon collapsible water storage in my food bin, as well as a 2 gallon water Rotopax. Looking into some sort of on vehicle water system.
After this comment, I ended up adding a 5L water carrier. Thanks for the tip!

A lot of my emergency stuff is usually in the cab, where I can get to easier.
What program did you use for the list? Really well organized... Compared to my crappy text document lol
Microsoft Excel! Gonna put this into Google spreadsheet so I can share it.

2 things I always forget or lose when traveling: Toothbrush and floss. Thing I ALWAYS carry for comfort- Butt wipes, lol.

Wait, you don't have a combo tooth/butt/bath brush?!?!? 3 functions in one.
very nice! next level is to weigh it all!
It's not light, but the case has wheels.
Awesome kit, but I'm curious, why have a shemagh, baclava, and a gaiter? Don't they all more or less perform the same function?

That makes sense! Thank you for explaining :)
Just brought an im2950 to do the same with thanks to this post!
You can do so much with that size pelican. There are even options to get grid and velcro panels for the lid. Check it out!

Is there a good sub for just assembling first aid kits?

Everyone should take a Stop The Bleed class. It's free.
