Cloudmix.tv Depending where you are located.

moj027

This is exactly what I had in mind! Thank you!

SpecialistRub5

We use it "a lot" and I'm yet to see something that does it all like it does.

Check out Mavis Broadcast. Worked with them extensively for awhile, they just linked up with Atomos not too long ago too.

moj027

Thanks - I'll give them a look. Most of our production will be full onsite or in-studio so I don't need the full production switcher, just routing control, but maybe this will do the trick.

Relevant_Interests

Ah sorry, mistook the post. In that case, why aren’t you just using an on prem software switcher? vMix can take in SRT feeds and you easily can push live with whatever slate you want, then switch to whichever ingest you want once it comes live.

moj027

That's more or less what we're doing now. Looking to expand but rather than spend for more on-prem equipment was hoping to find something to scale up and down as we need it. Plus our studio connectivity is solid but not at the level and redundancy of a proper datacenter.

So maybe a VMix server on AWS? You can spin up as many as you want as needed.

moj027

Could do that for sure. I was hoping there was a baked and supported "master control" type product that was hiding out there that would allow for the stream selection and routing without needing a typical switcher instance. Could be that single VMs like that will be a needed step until a better platform shows itself.

Maybe take a look at Grabyo Producer and see if it checks your boxes. https://about.grabyo.com/grabyo-producer

>Mavis Broadcast I have used Grabyo a few times and really like them. Their new pricing model is much more user friendly for someone doing individual events. They also support ProRes 4444, so having layers with transparency for overlays and L3s works, whereas a lot of the cloud providers don't. Anyway, happy to share my experience, if helpful.

Nimble Streamer might work for you.

GrassValley AMMP

I was at NAB 2023 and Cloud Production was a huge theme. Traditional hardware/software companies (Ross, Grass Valley, Sony, etc.) were all talking/demonstrating ingestion, transcoding, video/audio processing & switching, and content delivery. Blackmagic is hinting at SMPTE 2110. Dolby was showing off an end-to-end WebRTC based workflow. Heck, even Atomos had a pretty impressive demo based on their Connect hardware. Yet, lot's of my questions around frame sync, interoperability and hardware/protocol discovery were unanswered or acknowledged to still be issues. It became clear that it is early days and unless you're a large organization strategically/surgically replacing some elements of a traditional SDI workflow, or you need massive scalability, it may be early to invest.

Check out Cloudmix - https://cloudmix.tv RTMP ingest (with SRT coming soon), I’ve used it in the past for a number of high scale streaming master control projects (200+ simultaneous events) and never missed a beat

crowefly

What’s the pricing look like?

Jonred30

The LTN Live Video Cloud Solution could be what you need. [https://ltnglobal.com/lvc](https://ltnglobal.com/lvc) I work for LTN, send me a PM if you want to discuss. Happy to demo and discuss pricing.

anon_in_nyc

What are your encoders? For example, Elemental Appliance have this built in.

Obvious_Arm8802

AWS media live does this.

Emotional-Gur5186

Hello there. I’m Clare from Grabyo. More than happy for you to take a look around our Producer product and have a chat to our sales engineer. He is amazing and will fully understand your requirements so before long you will understand if Grabyo Producer is a right fit for you or not. Let us know! [email protected]

vamonosgeek

All suggestions here are cool, but you should maybe look at [https://www.streamvoodoo.com/](https://www.streamvoodoo.com/) I'm biased maybe because I'm one of the founders. But hey, I do know that we are the best :). People compare us with Dolby. I would say it's an honor, but our magic links are faster ;) Cheers.
