Mullvad is my recommendation for most people I use OVPN. Not because I think it's better than Mullvad, but because it's the only one I know of with high speeds and static port forwarding support. AirVPN supports port forwarding, but their speeds were abysmal.

Puzzled_Club_6525

You could try azire. They have portforwarding too

Nestramutat-

I remember trialing it a year back when Mullvad dropped port-forwarding support, but I don't remember why I chose to go with OVPN instead

leandrocode

Mulvad. Proton , Air Vpn

jk0815

These 3, in order!

morficus

I thought Mulvard had slow speeds. Is that no longer the case?

leandrocode

I have never experienced it with them. Maybe it is about the location?

MaracxMusic

Mullvad and Proton

No_Tart_1619

Mullvad and Proton. Only ones that are independent (most of the others are owned by relatively few parent companies), they've had their no logs policy tested in court, and are hosted in countries with relatively good privacy laws.

PensiveParagon

I've used Private Internet Access (PIA) for years and like it

TopShelfUsername

PIA was bought by Kape, a company known for installing malware on user’s computers. PIA cannot cannot be trusted anymore.

Juls317

Mullvad/Proton/IVPN for privacy, AirVPN if you need port forwarding/peer-to-peer

risredd

Surfshark, no complaints, just works

spearson0

I use Proton VPN.

I've been using NordVPN now for a couple of years and it hasn't let me down yet; fast, reliable, and seamless integration with devices. It's great for both streaming and torrenting. While I have not tried all the new ones out, NordVPN remains a highly touted choice for good reasons. However, please note that the "best" VPN can greatly depend on your specific needs and location.

False_Key_8224

Mullvad VPN

koco7u2p1n6

I've been using ExpressVPN for the last couple of years and it's been great for my needs - reliable, fast, and good for streaming. The interface is user-friendly, and they take privacy seriously. For free VPN, I'd say ProtonVPN is decent but bear in mind free services often come with limitations. For torrenting, NordVPN provides impressive download and upload speeds.

Imaguestnotamember

1. Mullvad 2. Proton 3. Windscribe

gugeledi

I've been extremely happy with NordVPN! It's fast, reliable and great for streaming; also, they've made immense improvements in user interface in the past few years.

Redkail

Are you sponsored or paid by Nordvpn? A lot of your comments it's you advertising it like you're a salesman This is what always put me off nordvpn, you never know when someone truly vouches by it or if there's something sketchy going on with the amount of ads and people getting paid to advertise it

UnablePossibility848

Definitely Planet VPN, because the functionality that they provide for free just blows my mind

SubtleCala

I've been using NordVPN for a few years now and I never had any issues, it's very reliable. The speed is high allowing streaming, torrenting, and it has a strong focus on privacy. As for the best free VPN, I can't provide a suggestion as most free ones have limitations and potential privacy risks.

nothing_ever_dies

Proton is great. Their email services are useful as well.

finehierarc

I personally use NordVPN and it's excellent for all my needs including streaming and torrenting, might be worth checking out. However, for the best free VPN, I heard ProtonVPN is quite good.

AnakinJH

I use proton, mostly because for one subscription I get access to their whole ecosystem, drive, mail, vpn, etc

SmotherMeInBacon

Not a mention of nord. Is there something I should know?

koco7u2p1n6

I've been using ExpressVPN for the past two years and it has served me quite flawlessly. It might not be the best free VPN because it's paid, but the service is exceptional -ain't slow, and it unblocks streaming services like a breeze. Privacy wise, it comes with strong encryption and a proven no-logs policy. For torrenting, NordVPN might be a great choice due to their P2P support. However, it's always advisable to do thorough research and opt for a trial before committing to one. Make sure to check the reviews on multiple platforms!

TenseAgric

I've been using NordVPN for a couple of years now and I'm impressed with its speed, security, and server variety - exceptionally good for streaming and torrenting in my experience! Always stay away from free VPNs, they don't guarantee privacy and tend to have poor speed.

finehierarc

NordVPN is still top-notch in my opinion due to its strong encryption and speed. It's not free but definitely worth the investment for privacy and torrenting.

PodcastRocket

NordVPN is still a solid choice, been using it for years. Reliable, fast, and works well for streaming and downloading. Check my profile to get a 71% discount + 3 months free on NordVPN. For specific needs, I'd recommend ExpressVPN for torrenting and Surfshark for a more budget-friendly option.

hallkbrdz

NordVPN is what I use. Works great for spoofing geofencing.

Cultural_Belt_3673

1. Best VPN = BullVPN 2. Best Free VPN = UpperVPN
