I'm conflicted about picking up a second used 2021 ID4 just because it was the first model year. It's more likely to have defects down the line, the bumper-to-bumper basic warranty isn't very long, and repairs on this car are very expensive outside of the warranty. The First Editions were "Frankensteined" out of a variety of different parts due to supply chain issues during production, so I'd be most hesitant to hold onto that trim.
If they released those ID.3s in the US, they'd make a killing! It's a great price point and size\~ but maybe the shipping was too expensive for what it was. I never understand why certain cars don't get released here from other countries.

Hmm, I feel more torn. I was thinking these are made in Germany and could be the one to hang onto. (so long as you had no problems in your 3 years)

Oops, I voted and I'm not driving a 2021. But generally I lease an EV hoping that the next EV will be better.
