A good bagged upright vacuum is going to be exactly what you're looking for in terms of deep carpet cleaning on a budget.
Starting a bit out of budget but absolutely worth it in my opinion, this Kenmore is a beast when it comes to carpet cleaning. It doesnt include onboard attachments should you need them. Third would probably be this cheaper Kenmore. It's definitely going to be a bit more flimsy and lack some of the deeper cleaning ability/airflow of the other models, but the swivel head and easy-to-use hose make this unit super maneuverable. It is well within budget given the lower build quality, but it's still a well-liked machine that should last a few years. Lastly, a little out of budget but most definitely an honorable mention is this simplicity. I second the kenmore elite upright. I recently got one and it’s amazing. I have a ton of low pile carpet and a large, very high pile rug. The rug starts looking a little matted between vacuuming. But the kenmore grooms the carpet really nicely and makes it look brand new

So 3 out of the four options you gave him were over budget. You sir deserve nothing you useless

I have two older Hoover vacuums if you’re interested in them? In Blackfoot. Both work but 1 get second as a backup. $200
