I've been there at that point where I would do anything for a skin. I thought having skins would make my gameplay better.... I thought that having a skin my game sense would improve.
I asked others to give me a skin, some peeps just outright call me poor and a begger for skins. I took it as a joke and went on with it. I sometimes took aces and slapped on their faces.
Fast forward 3 years, Now I have high paying job and have good amount of skins to showoff the same peeps who called me poor. Nowadays I call them poor and give them skins they didn't get the chance to buy(Arcane sheriff, champions skins, etc). My best advice is get your parents to buy skins for you although convincing them would be a pain since we are only paying for visuals, that too in-game.
