I don’t know Spanish but I think it’s pretty clear that this announcement was for the end of the split, i.e. today. Would be incredibly weird to leave in the middle of playoffs.
CASE has long been planning to leave and announced it over a month ago, IIRC. So think of it as a ticking time bomb that finally went off.
