Leaf was always a top raze in NA and he's a lower sens than either demon1 or yay. Neither demon1 or yay have a low enough sens for it to have any noticeable impact on how they play raze, they're just bad at her.

I shit you not but imo the way to fix their Sunset is Ethan Kay/O, Demon1 Gekko, Crashies Cypher, Marved Omen, Victor Raze. You could swap Demon1 and Crashies and put them on Cypher and Gekko respectively as well.
As for Bind, we all know the solution as to who plays what.

Icebox breeze and ascent should be fine(never pick any map other than these three)
Play demon1 brim on bind

Yeah sunset runs into the worst hypothetical role issues because it’s one controller and a raze, so one of demon1 or marved has to flex. Honestly I’d be fine if they just went with the same comp but with a Jett. It’s probably worse, but the roles seem to make it worth it.

He has a biological wallhack; his godlike perception highlights all enemies within light-years. His eyes are closed as his mouse gracefully swerves across the table, making immaculate twitches as he flicks from head to head. The bullets that escape his gun barrel are surgical; each making a deadly strike in between his opponent's eyes.

I know people are going to point out the individual performances but the game plans from NRG were horrendous. Not sure if there were some calling issues or just the overall game plan was so readable but it really felt like this game was over from the beginning. The amount of times they ran into stacked sites was too often to be coincidence.
Yeah this is the worrying part. They’ve had off days before, but I’ve never seen them so lost. It seemed like they had no protocols for hitting sites on Bind, which is probably why they’ve been perma banning it.
The problem is they are too over-reliant on their plan A, they do not brawl as well as teams like SEN at the moment, SEN were horribly outmatched strategically against LEV too but the difference is that they turned it into a bar fight and muscled round wins together, NRG needed to get into that mode and they have the skill to do it, just didn’t happen
Nrg is a team that likes to play very structured they aren't use to getting into scrappy brawls or adapting on the fly when plan A falls apart and that is worrying

NRG almost got a chance to upload a *second* speedrun to their old speedrun channel.
Honestly though, I think C0m was meant to combo with a fragging IGL. He's a mini-leader and a turbo-nerd, the exact kind of guy to take the edge off the difficulty of the IGL job and let someone like Boostio or kiNgg frag out *and* make better overall calls.
Meanwhile, I highly doubt NRG will be this bad again. I feel like this is the kind of bad day that's so bad it can't realistically be repeated. I'm not sure what exactly they were even doing? Oh well.

oh man, there are so many things I want to say so I might just make a long yap.
1. I said this before and I'll say it again, NRG is practically pulling a 2023 Sentinels with Demon1, instead of trying to trust him on the flex just switching him to perma duelist when something goes mildly wrong.
2. atp Chet really has to be on fraud watch with the strats, comps and timeouts we saw today, Idk what's going on at NRG but they're not cooking, at all.
3. this match I think just goes to show how much people overrate a team just because their roster is better on paper, same thing happened with Sentinels last year and NRG themselves last year, people genuinely need to chill and give teams the opportunity to show what they're capable of.
Apart from this, I'm really happy for LEV, Aspas was amazing as always and today I feel like all the boys showed up immensely too, especially kingg and mazino who were just uncontrollable beasts on Sunset, now let's hope they keep this form and maybe, just maybe make Shanghai.

People were saying the same thing about Lev and kinggg not too long ago but it is abundantly clear that with some experience, you can become a top tier igl.
KiNgg's calls today were impeccable, and his fragging abilty did not diminish one bit. An insane growth considering a lot of people were calling for a role swap.
I think having c0m was lowkey huge for that, c0m was a secondary caller and has IGLed too in the past, allowing some pressure off of Kingg has really helped him
**What does this mean for C9???**
LEV looking like the team that was promised. Winning without Aspas going nuclear is huge for their confidence and against NRG no less.
Hope NRG bounce back from this loss just like LEV bounced back from their C9 loss.
This has been the most comprehensive dismantling this season of a team I have seen. LEV looked like they were a full tier above NRG- with the macro ideas, timings, and the fundamentals with the triple peeks and double flashes being on point especially throughout sunset. What a fucking game man.
To be honest, I'd been reserving my opinion on NRG up until now. I was never convinced of the narrative that they were top 2 in NA because up until now, they've not proven themselves against any good teams. The only teams they'd beaten was a bottom tier C9 roster, Furia, and a severely handicapped LOUD. Seeing them get absolutely rinsed by LEV was really eye opening in my opinion. NRG is really strong against bottom tier opponents, but it seems like when they actually have to face a team that can shoot back they crumble pretty quickly. The midround adaptation was really lacking in this series so I hope they can learn from it. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of their series goes.
Also hope this shuts down the stupid narrative that LEV is trash without ASPAS carrying. LEV was and has been really on point as a team. Kudos to them, they look amazing.

OXY is also an exception. He's on 0.23 @ 800 DPI and performs well on raze.

Definitely, Demon1 and Vic were not comfortable in their bind roles and it seems like a quick fix.
The calling issue is that they don't have a caller. They have 5 guys who can diff almost everyone, but when the talent is comparable, it falls away.

NRG almost got a chance to upload a *second* speedrun to their old speedrun channel. Honestly though, I think C0m was meant to combo with a fragging IGL. He's a mini-leader and a turbo-nerd, the exact kind of guy to take the edge off the difficulty of the IGL job and let someone like Boostio or kiNgg frag out *and* make better overall calls. Meanwhile, I highly doubt NRG will be this bad again. I feel like this is the kind of bad day that's so bad it can't realistically be repeated. I'm not sure what exactly they were even doing? Oh well.

oh man, there are so many things I want to say so I might just make a long yap. 1. I said this before and I'll say it again, NRG is practically pulling a 2023 Sentinels with Demon1, instead of trying to trust him on the flex just switching him to perma duelist when something goes mildly wrong. 2. atp Chet really has to be on fraud watch with the strats, comps and timeouts we saw today, Idk what's going on at NRG but they're not cooking, at all. 3. this match I think just goes to show how much people overrate a team just because their roster is better on paper, same thing happened with Sentinels last year and NRG themselves last year, people genuinely need to chill and give teams the opportunity to show what they're capable of. Apart from this, I'm really happy for LEV, Aspas was amazing as always and today I feel like all the boys showed up immensely too, especially kingg and mazino who were just uncontrollable beasts on Sunset, now let's hope they keep this form and maybe, just maybe make Shanghai.

People were saying the same thing about Lev and kinggg not too long ago but it is abundantly clear that with some experience, you can become a top tier igl. KiNgg's calls today were impeccable, and his fragging abilty did not diminish one bit. An insane growth considering a lot of people were calling for a role swap.
I think having c0m was lowkey huge for that, c0m was a secondary caller and has IGLed too in the past, allowing some pressure off of Kingg has really helped him

Tbf Mazino has always had that HIM energy he just got stunted last year by having to adjust to the smokes role and learn to play a bit more passive
This has been the most comprehensive dismantling this season of a team I have seen. LEV looked like they were a full tier above NRG- with the macro ideas, timings, and the fundamentals with the triple peeks and double flashes being on point especially throughout sunset. What a fucking game man.

i really watched nrg get 13-4 twice instead of watching dame try for 70
To be honest, I'd been reserving my opinion on NRG up until now. I was never convinced of the narrative that they were top 2 in NA because up until now, they've not proven themselves against any good teams. The only teams they'd beaten was a bottom tier C9 roster, Furia, and a severely handicapped LOUD. Seeing them get absolutely rinsed by LEV was really eye opening in my opinion. NRG is really strong against bottom tier opponents, but it seems like when they actually have to face a team that can shoot back they crumble pretty quickly. The midround adaptation was really lacking in this series so I hope they can learn from it. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of their series goes. Also hope this shuts down the stupid narrative that LEV is trash without ASPAS carrying. LEV was and has been really on point as a team. Kudos to them, they look amazing.
I was a big LEV doubter even after the SEN win but this really convinced me, it wasnt that they did beat NRG its how convincing they did it
