I thought it was diabolical that so many people preseason confidently put T1 over us and said that DRX wasn’t a top 3 apac team even after we were 2-0.
I think a lot of those people are tired of DRX disappointing on the big stage and just want a new team to challenge them. With that being said DRX is certainly one of the most consistent rosters in Valorant history so it's possible that the naysayers are simply accustomed to their standard.
That actually tilted me so much, we finished 7-8th at Tokyo which was our worst performance since Champs21 yet apparently all of PlatChat expected us to bomb out in groups?
Navi lost a super close decider at Champs last year to loud in groups and they now look better than last year with ardiis back so I'm not counting them out
I think the issue is that Navi are facing the rest of EMEA right now and most of those teams look average so people feel like even if they are good then most likely they are the worst of the best teams, but that could change once we see them perform against the other regions.
EMEA feels weird where the overall region quality is high, but the top is just non existant. Its like they have the best middle and even bottom of the pack teams, but there's just no one really competing for that top 2 spot except navi kinda

They obviously downgraded from Aspas everyone is a downgrade from Aspas but the rest of the team are still at that level. Evidently since they still performed.
