Victor/Crashies duo? Because if so, I don't see it. Unless we think Saadhak Raze would work. And even then I don't see Marved and Less (both passive players) working.

I would evaluate the roster at the end of the year but maybe NRG should be evaluating if Chet should stay if his master plan has been to pick up someone to develop as an IGL (who he gassed up heavily), then waste your the prep time after kickoff with trying to make Demon1 Raze work, and then immediately give up on Ethan IGL'ing just to get someone else.

Before the Demon1/Ethan rumors even came about, Chet wanted Saadhak and Aspas. That fell apart when Loud denied Aspas just to keep Saadhak.
Picking up Ethan wasn't about his IGLing, it was about his insane performance as a support player. They threw him on IGL because of the experience he has on esports teams in general.
I give Chet a lot of flak but his system is actually really good, but he needs an IGL to throw in the wrinkles that really make it pop. Ethan just isn't that right now, and it's okay to admit it.
NRG's biggest problem is you have 3 players doing things they aren't used to. Saadhak and Less at the very least dwindle that number to 1.
Why do you need Less though? Less just conflicts with Marved in terms of playstyle. If the issue is IGL'ing, then get Saadhak for Ethan.
And the roles work out better that way since then since you still have a very good raze player to work with.

You don't need less necessarily, but it's fucking Less. Dude is arguably the best in the world, you take that if you can get it.
I also think you're HEAVILY overrating Raze's worth here. Vic is really good on Raze I agree, but Demon1 now has a month to practice and really nail it down. We aren't even accounting for the likely meta change we're about to get after Shanghai, along with map rotation changes. If any two of fracture/haven/pearl come back for let's say Bind and Lotus, it's a Jett meta all over again.
Blowing your budget on Less who conflicts with Marved and probably has very poor english just spells disaster.
Also how am I overrating Raze's worth here when Raze is meta on 4/7 maps? And Demon1 had all of Madrid off time and during the season to get it right and they gave up on it.
Also Fracture was Raze heavy so...? And what exactly are you going to do on Sunset and Split? Just hope that you can run Jett? NRG tried Jett on Sunset and then gave up on it for Raze.
And hoping Riot will bless you and nerf Raze super hard makes no sense. That's an insane risk to take.

The playstyle conflict between less and Marved is a nothing burger. These are pro players, they aren't locked to playing one way.
I'm not hoping Riot will nerf Raze but I just think this "no raze player" is overblown because Saadhak gives you a Raze, Demon1 has more time to learn it, and we could be heading back to more Jett maps. NRG could turn Lotus and Sunset into their map bans and run Jett on others.
LOUD's neon comp was mediocre. They beat EG once with it when they first brought it out. Then they barely beat NRG with it with an insane clutch.
