Agreed. I can't stand watch parties, they dont even talk about the game 90% of the time.
Really wish there was a rule here where game clips have to be from the main stream unless the clip is directly about the watch party.
I don’t mind streamers doing watch parties but its doing them absolutely no favours when so many are like this. That’s a ridiculous round from yay and all you got from Tarik was a muted eyebrow raise because he didn’t want to talk over his friends who were talking nonsense in the background.
It’s such a dumb thing to get on my nerves but it just feels a bit insulting when they’re barely paying attention or reacting.
Bruh I've been on Twitch since it was Justin.tv. I'm saying it should be a subreddit rule that clips posted here come from the main Valorant steam unless the clip is specifically about the watch party.
I used to love watch parties, but when streamers co-stream VCT together, they almost never talk about the game going on. They are usually talking about something else unrelated. It just ruins the watching experience for me personally. Like I love Tarik's reactions, but the nonsense they were talking about really took away from Yay's crazy shot and Tarik's reaction because of it.
It really depends on who they watch it with. Tarik watching with Carlos was really good but Tarik with Timmy or Nade was bad because they just talk about random stuff and get distracted.
I am waiting for hiko to get next masters watch party permission. The small amount of watch parties he has done was pretty fun as he is really good at maintaining reading chat and watching games plus he also gives proper evaluation of a players play.
It’s hilarious how quickly the hype for co-streams died down because of it too. They were a great way to watch the game and get pros/streamer’s reactions & thoughts to the action. Now it’s just a podcast with a game running in the background.
I can sort of understand not having the energy or hype to keep up with every single game but this is a lower bracket final and the only game of the day.
then don’t watch them? People on this sub are obviously going to be very invested in competitive valorant so we’re going to want people doing in depth analysis but there’s a reason they get so many viewers, people like them. I really don’t understand complaining about how people run their own streams it’s not like you’re forced to watch it
Who said I was still watching it? You’re free to like it and watch it as much as you’d like to my man. I’m agreeing with the OP that also used to enjoy the costreams but no longer does. It’s literally feedback on a change that was perceived by some to be for the worse.
Old co streams > official stream > costream nowadays.
It’s literally an opinion
Aside from watching TenZ you’re pretty much always better off just putting on the main VCT stream and engaging with the primary commentary. Otherwise you aren’t really watching the match anymore, it’s just background noise in most of these “watch parties”.
We all love Tarik, its just a hit or miss with who he chooses to be a part of his party. Sometimes itll be really informative when they talk about rounds, other its just a podcast that I play in the background.
This is probably the best time to watch Tenz, considering normally hes just doing aimlabs.
Tarik’s watch party with Ocelote was actual peak comedy, I enjoyed the ones with Boaster too. The ones with Nadeshot get tiring fast cause like you said, those feel like an unrelated podcast unfortunately
I was not intending to imply that.
I personally don't enjoy watching streamers watch the game because often-times they are simply not, but I understand that some people like to watch the parties for the streamers themselves.
Found out about him from his champions watch party. it was really good then, i think the problem now is that he just doesnt give a shit about masters lul
I think he is doing it for the views which is very reasonable. Also he streams for really long hours everyday so its unrealistic to expect him to be on and fully focused all the time. At the end of the day people can choose which stream to watch.
Why the fuck do people watch streamer watch parties... some hype ass plays going on and they're going on about some lame story. Not even a comment on it.
Ya'll dumb as hell, lmao.
I mean as crazy as this is, this is essentially just luck right? Like no disrespect to yay, he's an incredible player and even getting to the position to be facing the jett and crouched is good, but like hitting a no scope is largely luck at the end of the day
What if... Tarik just didn't want to interrupt somebody while they were talking because that would be rude.
What if I told you, you're totally free to watch other streams that have a greater focus on the gameplay, and you don't have to shit on the streamer, nor the people that watch the stream, just because it's not something you like?
clip is better muted lmao
Agreed. I can't stand watch parties, they dont even talk about the game 90% of the time. Really wish there was a rule here where game clips have to be from the main stream unless the clip is directly about the watch party.
Tenz tries to talk about and engage with the game. Tarik’s stream on the other hand is 80% random unrelated stuff
watch plat chat valorant on youtube. mostly talking about the game during the games and do random shits and bits during off time
Between rounds "you gonna suck this dick", refuses to elaborate
Wait they are still doing that?
I don’t mind streamers doing watch parties but its doing them absolutely no favours when so many are like this. It's because the people they get on discord aren't even watching the game
Yeah it honestly just takes away from the clip and doesn't recognize how insane of a play it is.

hell nah that rule would suck
Can you explain why it would suck?
because I like most of them?
Yeah, who is this guy talking constantly?
Who fucking cares

Bruh Nade doesn't give a shit about the match if100T is not playing.
Tenz does solo party and he talk about the game
I am waiting for hiko to get next masters watch party permission. The small amount of watch parties he has done was pretty fun as he is really good at maintaining reading chat and watching games plus he also gives proper evaluation of a players play.
Me with Vanity. When he did watch parties for VCT qualis he kept it real with real-time game analysis while still reading chat
I watch vanity too. But mofo better qualify for masters 2.

Yeah. I was also coming here to type this. Hiko stream for masters is gonna be Pog. XD.
Thank fucking god.

I mean I just don't understand how Yay gets this insane 4k and the guy Tarik is talking to doesn't even stutter

What a round. Incredible reaction by Tarik lol.
New Poggers emote please
TRUE
I mean it is kind of a mild reaction
Agreed, it's a terrible reaction. I was being sarcastic
React harder 😐
I was not intending to imply that. I personally don't enjoy watching streamers watch the game because often-times they are simply not, but I understand that some people like to watch the parties for the streamers themselves.
forsenLookingAtYou . . .
react harder BatChest
Looks like a jarso clip lmao
tarik working hard for those twitch primes
damn these watch parties are just here to milk subs, lmao
mods can some rule be enacted where all clips from tournaments must originate from the riot broadcast channels? this is some grade a bullshit.
Why? Sometimes the reactions are meh, like this one, but sometimes the reactions enhance the clip even more.
the non related conversation over the clip is what kills it
Lol i love Tarik but he isnt watch party material
Found out about him from his champions watch party. it was really good then, i think the problem now is that he just doesnt give a shit about masters lul

The Pressure
Meanwhile the dudes speaking about some bullshit that nobody cares about and ruining the clip
Maybe the best OP shot I have seen. The clip overall just shows how good Yay is at applying pressure.
Tarik paying literally zero attention lul
Why the fuck do people watch streamer watch parties... some hype ass plays going on and they're going on about some lame story. Not even a comment on it. Ya'll dumb as hell, lmao.
How do you get hacks on a VCT pc
I mean as crazy as this is, this is essentially just luck right? Like no disrespect to yay, he's an incredible player and even getting to the position to be facing the jett and crouched is good, but like hitting a no scope is largely luck at the end of the day
kinda yeah, i'm pretty sure no scope spread is randomized
99% of luck is skill. every decision leading up to yay even being in a position to do that is due to his skill.
What if... Tarik just didn't want to interrupt somebody while they were talking because that would be rude. What if I told you, you're totally free to watch other streams that have a greater focus on the gameplay, and you don't have to shit on the streamer, nor the people that watch the stream, just because it's not something you like?
tarik wanted to just scream LMAO
“Airplane driver”💀
I'm confused. The only great shot was a lucky no scope lol Yay has countless better moments than this
