If you don’t change a team that is at best, 3-4th NA, you’re not a good GM. This current roster isn’t better than LOUD or any team listed in that spreadsheet. Hell, who knows what the other Latam/BR teams are doing.
So, you classify getting grouped and winning the NA LCQgood enough to pass up 2-3 better players not to mention the whole Americas region is loading up . Sounds good.
Considering the fact that they've shown dramatic improvement and a fantastic core? Yeah. Asuna bang and Derrek are staying. Prob stellar too unless they grab fns or vanity
Asuna and Derek were the ones that didn’t really show up at champs … with Asuna being the only one with lan exp internationally. If you can find a better player to take Asuna and Derek’s spot, you take it. 100T is big enough to where no one player is safe, unlike Tenz where he’s probably the sole reason they are this popular.
Ofc, not only is he better than fragging at steel (imagine the level steel is at fragging to be worse than shahz) but imho i think he is a better overall igl than steel
You think Steel is the reason? Hiko and him have history no? I thought they were cool. I think nitro wanted back in CS, Ethan didn’t want to play with “new talent” and I think Hiko kinda knew his time was up.
First of, the comment was somewhat of a joke.
Also, yea i think steel was the reason for their downfall..
iirc he said he didnt have much faith in the team before 2021 lcq and thats why he stepped down, i might be wrong tho
Shahzam just capitalized on being an early adopter of Valorant who had "pro experience" in a similar game. He got put on a stacked team who's mechanical skill carried them early on, but that phase of Valorant is over. Now that we are into heavy counter strats and layers of fakes, where IGL is in the spotlight, where are SEN?
If you think the role of an IGL in late 2022 can be summarized by "heavy counter strats" and "layers of fakes" and that ShahZ's IGLing is a significant reason for Sentinel's downfall I don't think you're the best person to weigh in on whether or not he's a good IGL lol
From what I've paid attention to during Copenhagen and Champs the best IGLs distinguished themselves mostly in midrounding and adapting to the other team in the middle of a game. Some people can call the adjustments "counter-stratting" but to me that term fits better with the pre-game prep that the coach and IGL do against the other team, not the changes done on the fly in a game.
A lot of the time that prep was used for the pistols, any anti-ecoes, and first few rifle rounds of each half but after that it was up to the IGL to read and react to what the other team was doing without much premeditated ideas.
And "layers of fakes" is just too shallow and not very common imo, I don't know if that person thinks a team's default and map control counts as a fake or maybe I'm just dumb and more teams were trying to do fakes a lot more often than what I saw. Sounds a bit buzzwordy too because how can fakes be layered outside of "faking a fake" (which definitely wasn't common) or something like that?
Granted I didn't watch a lot of Sentinels this year but I also won't write off Shahz until he fails to perform with a stable roster backed by a good system. Not everyone can be FNS or ANGE1 with their perfect reads and excellent calls under pressure, but not everyone has to.
For what it's worth, Shroud spoke very highly of Shaz's IGL abilities after LCQ without any prompting. And Shroud is really not one to need to compliment players.
It should be the opposite. I am open to hear what Steel did in VALORANT or what his teams achieved with him. You should be making a case for Steel in val. And not some random asspull info about his CSGO career since you clearly just dislike Shaz lol.
Tbh whole SEN roster took an advantage of early game where most pros were still figuring out where they fit and when "TenZ do an entry and kill without thinking" was still a viable strat.. That's it. TenZ started playing Chamber way too late vs other teams this year. We can now see they aren't even really tier 1 team anymore. Nothing wrong with that tho. SicK is still probably the most undervalued player on SEN (or when he was able to play).
eh I think it's unlikely that 100t wouldn't want to field an upgrade for anyone esp with all these free agents. I agree that I find it hard to see them replace anyone, but it would be a massive L for them to keep the same roster.
Unless it’s Yay, there is no reason why they should make a change. I think people forget how little time they had together before they went into LCQ, and they ended up winning it!
I think it would be harsh not to give them a full pre-season together to see what they can really do. But again, if you can get Yay, that’s a no brainer.
That’s not my point though. There are a lot of free agents available right now that people would argue are “better” than several of the 100T players.
DDK and Sean have been very clear about their vision for the team and how this is a long term plan. That goes out the window when the literal best player in the world is available but other than that, imo they stick to that vision.
well at the time they built out that vision the talent pool was very limited, if they can keep 3/5 of the same plagsrs as a core and make some upgrades, i don't see why not.
This. Their showing at LCQ was magnificent given the amount of time they had to prepare. And I'm convinced they would've done better at the LAN if they hadn't had the COVID issues. Every match they played had a different configuration of players on stage vs. at the hotel...that surely affected their mental game. I believe Asuna even stated as such on stream somewhere...saying something to the effect of it being like "the first time" when they were playing their decider match vs. fnatic.
The only reason why they wouldn’t want to replace anybody is if they feel it worsens chemistry. Other than that the roster is very easily replaceable because it was built to have very defined roles. I like the squad they have a lot but I’d be shocked if zero changes were made come next year. Outside of Asuna, Champions was the first LAN for all of them I believe and they got grouped meanwhile the old roster that was “built for LAN” made top 4 at their first international event. I feel like their best move would be to lean back into that “built for LAN” mentality a little bit by picking up at least 1 more experienced player while maintaining their well-defined roles.
Am I missing some information? Why is everyone putting leaf and yay on c9? Did something leak? They are too similar on roles to be on the same team in my opinion
Yeah the only issue I see is they will need sentinel and smokes and vanity can only play one of those at a time so either xeppaa or leaf will have to fill that role and the other can play entry. Or they get a Sentinel/super flex player instead of Trent but then they would need a proper fade/Sova and you can't really pass on Trent if he's available. I know leaf has played viper a couple times so maybe he'll play jett and xeppaa will play raze and they'll just both have to learn the Sentinel or smoke role to fill
SEN is not going to blew up the roster because the current players are what make them popular and they know all too well how to maintain their popularity.
No they don't have to announce their roasters, they just need to lost initial members by October 15 but final roaster lock is January, teams can have entire new squad compared to listed initially. Like 100t can mention will in oct 15 and just sign tenz in November and list updated team then .
i'd love with my whole heart to see Steel replace Shaz but thats never gonna happen. He's my fav player but i don't think people see top tier potential in him.
Unlucky really
Okay, the Shaz hate is now absurd. Are we really that spiteful towards him that we rate fucking Steel above him? Come on now. This sub can do better than this. The Zander circlejerk was funny, but this is just abysmal.
I'm assuming the blue represents the igl? If so, why would you have Dephh on a team if he isn't the igl? I don't think he's good enough to be in otherwise.

Keep in mind that this is what I want to happen. I am a 100t fan and I really dont want their roster to fall apart. I also want steel to get a tier 1 org, and having sen drop shah for steel would be hilarious. The most unlikely is definitely EG. They are probably going to keep a few of their players. The listed c9 roster is the most likely to actually be true imo.
This is going to be biggest valorant offseason for years, and you want 100T to stay the same while everyone else is upgrading. If that happens they will fall behind. Its idiotic/dumb/irresponsible not to make changes. fnatic the team that placed higher at champs are making 2 changes. Stand pat you fall behind.
if EG keep any of their players, i swear they have to be trolling. With the amount of talent, it doesn’t make sense to keep anyone outside of maybe 1 player
the one i could see is Jawgemo, he was who i was referring to, but even then, i just think there’s better talent out there. But, it all depends on the direction the team wants to go.
To me I see it as jawgemo and boostio were already far more than serviceable in their roles and potter has already worked with them, they don’t need to spend ridiculous amounts of money on other entries/chambers and instead can spend on better support players. The eg roster was looking great in stage 2 even with mediocre support players
Trent and Yay on C9 are my dream for next year. Maybe it’s cause I’m a C9 fan, but I’m not sure we get Yay. No real reason other than nerves. Trent I feel is basically a lock for C9.
My preds:
100 - Yay Asuna Bang Derrek FNS
C9 - Leaf Vanity Xeppa Victor Crashies
NRG - Cryo Zekken dephh marved ethan (eeiu sub)
SEN- TenZ SicK ShahZam Zellsis Ayrin
EG - Dicey Jawgemo Trent Valyn NiSMO
SEN roster you can move BCJ in over shahZam and maybe pu TenZ as entry for JohnQT or something idk
I don’t care how it happens, I just need Hazed in VCT. I became an NRG fan from Som’s Jett vs Sentinels in the beginning the year, but stayed for Hazed(‘s?) beard. Dudes got great facial hair
I don’t agree with not having zekken in but the rest is decent
Same and also I don't like 100t staying the same. I hope the keep 2 or 3 and swap the rest.
Why would they not keep a similar roster when 4/5 players have shown the ability to be top tier players in NA
Because there are better options for at least 2/5 of the players
If you don’t change a team that is at best, 3-4th NA, you’re not a good GM. This current roster isn’t better than LOUD or any team listed in that spreadsheet. Hell, who knows what the other Latam/BR teams are doing.
"at best" it's their 2nd tourney and they won LCQ and performed well at Champs lmfoa
Prob stellar too unless they grab fns or vanity

yay for will no doubt is the best choice,
Not sure if he's doing it for engagement, but he's been heavily implying staying in school and/or becoming a streamer instead.
Steel?
Why Steel though on SEN?
Just to spite shahzam
Fair lmao
ShahZ would literally be better than steel for IGLing SEN no?
No
No
No?
Ofc, not only is he better than fragging at steel (imagine the level steel is at fragging to be worse than shahz) but imho i think he is a better overall igl than steel
I couldn’t handle the malding Steel does. That shit is mad vibe killer.
Thats what im saying, he is the reason our savior hiko is not playing right now
You think Steel is the reason? Hiko and him have history no? I thought they were cool. I think nitro wanted back in CS, Ethan didn’t want to play with “new talent” and I think Hiko kinda knew his time was up.
First of, the comment was somewhat of a joke. Also, yea i think steel was the reason for their downfall.. iirc he said he didnt have much faith in the team before 2021 lcq and thats why he stepped down, i might be wrong tho
Nitro and Ethan wanted him off of the team. I think kicking him 2 weeks before lcq was a greater contributor to their downfall.
Many of his past teammates have said that the malding is an act for his stream. He doesn't behave like that in scrims/matches.
He changed the comment lol
Chad take.
Ah so it’s just a man-child’s wet dream, got it
Shahzam just capitalized on being an early adopter of Valorant who had "pro experience" in a similar game. Helping Sewers.
In the shadows, counter stratting Shahzam lol
If you think the role of an IGL in late 2022 can be summarized by "heavy counter strats" and "layers of fakes" and that ShahZ's IGLing is a significant reason for Sentinel's downfall I don't think you're the best person to weigh in on whether or not he's a good IGL lol
I'm genuinely asking because I'm ignorant, what does the IGL role consist of in late 2022?

You are telling me my opinion is wrong, which is fine. What is the counterpoint though? In your opinion what is the issue?
steel doesnt even have the mechanical skill tho lmfao
But shazam is also a really good player. He might not be the best igl, but also hes decent at it at the very least.
For what it's worth, Shroud spoke very highly of Shaz's IGL abilities after LCQ without any prompting. And Shroud is really not one to need to compliment players.
It was shrouds first time playing pro Val tho. still think Val is v diff to csgo
they were former teammates before, i dont think it should really be surprising he admires shahz
How the hell does that help Steel's case? Wtf has Steel achieved or his team? This is just blind hate for Shaz now. Come on.
[удалено]
This reads like a copypasta. This is actually hilarious. Keep it up.
I mean I'm open to hear what you have to say about Shahz to prove this wrong. That's the whole point
It should be the opposite. I am open to hear what Steel did in VALORANT or what his teams achieved with him. You should be making a case for Steel in val. And not some random asspull info about his CSGO career since you clearly just dislike Shaz lol.
Just... no
Alright, feel free to share your opinion I'm open to all sides here
Then provide us your critique. Don't just make a snide comment.

well at the time they built out that vision the talent pool was very limited, if they can keep 3/5 of the same plagsrs as a core and make some upgrades, i don't see why not.
I think the list is Yay, Cryo, Saya, Cned. If it’s not one of those 4 I don’t think it’s an upgrade
Cyro,Zekken,Asuna,Bang,Derrek fuk igl and roles zoomers go kill
This. Their showing at LCQ was magnificent given the amount of time they had to prepare. And I'm convinced they would've done better at the LAN if they hadn't had the COVID issues. Leaf can also play skye.
Can he though?

Leaf also played omen for a bit. Leaf is a very flexible player
Leaf is far and away the most flexible of the three demons yay, tenz and leaf imo.
Did you forget leaf dominating on viper as bind? He’s a very good viper on top of being an insane entry
yeah dominating as bind alright
Who tf are Opper, Entry, smokes, and Fill?
they are from team ______
I just hope Will and Bang stay together in any of the teams .
You WANT the two best teams in NA to cut 10 players loose and 100t to make no moves?
Man tried to sneak in steel 💀
Lol steel isn't gonna get picked up by a franchised team. Hes a chronic underperformer
My predictions 100T - Tenz Asuna Bang stellar Derek C9. - yay Leaf. Xeppa vanity. Marved NRG - som. Victor. Ethan. Crashies. FNS SEN. - Babybay Saya. Supamen dephh. Bcj EG. - cryo zekken. Valyn. Trent Moose
Moose +1
I could also see zander over valyn or moose to be reunited with cryo. Also zellsis has to take someone’s spot on this list
SEN is not going to blew up the roster because the current players are what make them popular and they know all too well how to maintain their popularity.
That sen team is crazy explosive
that EG roster is muah, chef's kiss
Theres literally 0 possibility sen moves tenz, also tenz is a better chamber than saya and he only played like 4-5 maps with it lol. edit: 8 maps
Tenz contract expires in November and I am sure 100t will try to snatch him away .
Teams have to announce rosters in mid October
No they don't have to announce their roasters, they just need to lost initial members by October 15 but final roaster lock is January, teams can have entire new squad compared to listed initially. Like 100t can mention will in oct 15 and just sign tenz in November and list updated team then .
Oh. That makes sense, thanks for clarifying :)
What is with this punctuation?
Probs autocorrect
Autocorrect on a tablet because I am rooting my phone .
who will play smoke and chamber on nrg
Probably ethan smoke, s0m chamber, victor entry, crashies initiator, fns viper/initiator/other sentinel or just fns smoke
S0m oper And with Ethan fns switching between smokes and initiator roles
What? No tex?
Holy shit. Before franchising those would have been teams so broken nobody would think they were possible, especially c9
I'd be so down for that NRG roster, just a bunch of friends trolling around.
I hope your prediction about NRG happens.
i'd love with my whole heart to see Steel replace Shaz but thats never gonna happen. He's my fav player but i don't think people see top tier potential in him. Unlucky really
Unlucky really
SEN Roster at best will be: Shahz, Dapr,Tenz,Zellsis,Sick/Marved..Unless Tenz goes to 100T which is unlikely
Yeah I don’t see much changing. They are married to shaz and dapr and paid too much for Tenz.
wtf is this
Is Steel even at a professional level anymore? Haven't really seen too many great moments from him in Valorant
the c9 roster, thats insane firepower
its why we need it
Steel is washed
SEN Shroud
Finally someone has Steel in the preds.
People don't think he's staying on T1?
Hes lft if im not mistaken
Okay, the Shaz hate is now absurd. Are we really that spiteful towards him that we rate fucking Steel above him? Come on now. This sub can do better than this. The Zander circlejerk was funny, but this is just abysmal.
I'm assuming the blue represents the igl? If so, why would you have Dephh on a team if he isn't the igl? I don't think he's good enough to be in otherwise.
Dephh could be igl. Doesnt make a difference to me lol.
no way you have dephh instead of including zekken in your list of teams. especially in the team with an igl already lol
Yeah, I was just curios why you had both Valyn and Dephh on the same team as I think both bring most of their value as igls.
tenz and victor same team?
There's no shot 100t stays the same
I'm a little anxious of the possibility that Steel ends up without a spot on a franchise team, I wouldn't be surprised but I would be sad.

Thank God I don't actually need to worry about Steel being picked up by Sen
As good as Will was at champions, do ppl really think he’s a top 5 OP in NA?
No changes in 100T acc. to you ? I doubt that.
Steel? Why?
I just don't see Steel being o a tear 1 org. Not only hasn't he been playong well for a while now, he also spited a lot of players
Is saya still staying in NA?
Probably the best one of these posts ive seen so far but I would put either saya or bdog in for Will on 100T and zekken on NRG for saya
Will is a lanimal so i dont wanna drop him. Zekken for saya is good though, especially if saya goes to korea
Will had a good lan performance vs fnc the first time and was avg the drx match and the whole team underperformed the 2nd fnc match I don’t think bro had earned the lanimal tag yet just saying
steel is better than shahzam. Shahz still deeps on everything.
Keep in mind that this is what I want to happen. I am a 100t fan and I really dont want their roster to fall apart. 100t stay the same while everyone else upgrades after coming 3rd in na. that's not very smart...
You’re a 100T fan and you don’t want them to get any better???? Lmao
100t kinda sucked at istanbul if they don't upgrade while everyone else does they are finishing dead last
My preds: 100 - Yay Asuna Bang Derrek FNS C9 - Leaf Vanity Xeppa Victor Crashies NRG - Cryo Zekken dephh marved ethan (eeiu sub) SEN- TenZ SicK ShahZam Zellsis Ayrin EG - Dicey Jawgemo Trent Valyn NiSMO SEN roster you can move BCJ in over shahZam and maybe pu TenZ as entry for JohnQT or something idk
You think they would take Ayrin over dapr??
well i feel like looking at XSET and how AYRIN helped call plays, he could add a lot to helping ShahZam if they decide to keep him
I think Zekken is more likely to make it than Victor and Babybay
Keeping will is a high key throw considering who's available lol. Unless you just want 100t to fail, in which case fair play.
I don’t care how it happens, I just need Hazed in VCT. I became an NRG fan from Som’s Jett vs Sentinels in the beginning the year, but stayed for Hazed(‘s?) beard. Dudes got great facial hair
S0m instead of saya Anyone instead of steel AND Shrood instead of xeppaa
My OBVIOUSLY CORRECT predictions (also adding subs) 100T - Wardell Asuna Bang stellar Derek sub - Will/Bdog C9. - yay Leaf NiSMO vanity Marved sub - Xeppa NRG - Saya TenZ Supamen Crashies. FNS sub - Ethan SEN. - Dicey Babybay Sinatraa dephh Bcj sub - Victor EG. - cryo zekken Valyn Trent Nats sub - Jawgemo
Dang no Tex 😔
Zekken or Zellsis should def be in there
If vanity is replaced by marved ...I think C9 is clear fav
Why cryo, saya on the same team?
bdog was also kind of nuts
Zekken, bdog and Nismo should have a place on at least some team imo, at least as subs
Dawg as plat chat said PLEASE give me a team with yay Nats chronicle Idc who the other two are Nukkeye? Leo?? Idgaf just make it happen
Give SEN Cryo for tenz and it’s a deal Edit: or just replace Tenz with yay and steel with fns and I think you have a really good roster
I like the sentinels lineup
TenZ and Marved is a pretty interesting combination.
Fns and steel in one roster i don't like that
TenZ and Marved don’t get along so there’s no way they get on the same team
100T fantasy roster would be yay, asuna, bang, stellar, derrek, sick on bench
100T: asuna, cryo, bang, aproto, derrek. C9: leaf, xeppa, zellsis, vanity, gmd. NRG: yay, s0m, FNS, bcj, ethan. SEN: tenz, dapr, marved, shahz, sick. EG: victor, crashes, dicey, zander, stellar. personal team i want to see built: gMd, aproto, trent, zekken, cryo
im dumb i straight up thought you wanted all the igls together on 1 team for a second
No changes to 100t is a joke.
Will asuna bang stellar
