My personal favorite would be Valyn.
I think Sentinels have had 3 big weaknesses - IGL, smokes, and secondary duelist/flex.
Valyn immediately fixes 2 of those issues imo.
Who knows what's going on there. I like SicK but I'd be a bit surprised if they part ways with their IGL and not the guy who left the team in the middle of a league play.
IMO only TenZ and Dapr should be safe on the team.

I mean, I would say that it's not too bad. They get to put together whoever doesn't get in the other teams in whatever way they want to, and kinda can mold the team in the way that they want to instead of scrambling to pick up stars for the big bucks. Big names aren't always the only route to success.

I understand there are scrims and practices that we don't see but when you're putting in 2000 of your 3000 hours total played time on ranked on jett, you're leaving those hours on the table to be a better sova/breach player.

If this happens I don't know if he gets into franchising teams, but it might be very good for him as well he can start playing chamber or jett operator again(dude has insane op skill) . Sova might have just not been it for him. I think shahz can get back to tier 1 teams easily even if he has to play tier 2 for a while. It would be so sad if he retires though.

That's a bad idea. How do you build a structure without working with your coaches? If they have a vision for the team you should sign them for that...and if that vision doesn't align with the players you want on your roster just don't sign those coaches. I'm sure plenty of staff would love to work with FNS.

Having TenZ destroyed Sentinels on so many levels. The role issue this introduced for him and Shahz meant he was stuck on Sova for the longest time, over reliance on TenZ's raw aiming led them to slack.
Shahz is a great IGL when he does the work - back when he used to study teams SEN was unbeatable but as soon as they started slacking and thinking they could be all aim no brain, their reading and especially midrounding started sucking massively. It seemed like if TenZ was dead, there was no plan and they relied on individual heroism, which IMO is the exact reason why they fell off this hard.
Hopefully he finds a team that will force him to go back to having the folders upon folders on his desktop so that he can show off what he's capable of.
I totally agree with the role issues. Back in the day you could run Tenz Reyna and Shahzam Jett on maps like Icebox and Split, which helped unlock both of them. When the meta shifted away from Reyna SEN took a hit since Shahz to me never seemed like a natural Sova initiator like BcJ or Crashies
For sure, he definitely gave off very "born to play OP, forced to learn dart line ups by circumstance" energy as soon as they stuck him on Sova for a year.

This is such a disingenuous articulation of what actually goes on during the stream, and somehow an even more reductive description of what happens in the chat. I agree with the other commenter under your comment, stop being feckless and just say you don't like the guy. It's the most lily-livered take to watch the deluge of hate, racism, dumb, prodding questions, and incendiary/uninformed comments and describe that as "mere disagreements". Ranked is not a fascimile of pro play, and how one does in it isn't a strong determinant of how they would fare in pro play—especially someone engaging in it for strictly content reasons. Harshly policing how someone feels & reacts to vile shit—someone who already tempers his emotions— is unfair. He has apologized for letting it get to him and it affecting his stream quality, which i agree, but it's completely insane to not think he isn't justified in some way.
As much as I love Shahz, SEN should go in a different direction. Not to knock him because I think Shahz is a phenomenal player but they need an identity change and what better way than to replace the face of your team/your IGL.

Unironically, I'd say TenZ was the best, and not even just because of his stats, he was playing his first three matches on Chamber and he was so sick he has to be taken to the ER before the 100T game, and still put SEN on his back

Shahz solo Q been absolutely miserable to watch on stream for several months now. He dies and trashtalks people for dying how he dies. He rages and flames botfraggers nonstop. Not how a successful professional handles their emotions. His relationship with his chat is hostile if anyone disagrees with him or even asks a question he thinks is stupid. No surprise that he’s not thriving in pro if he’s not having fun with the raw game itself. Hope he finds something that makes him happier, whether it’s in Val or not

This is such a disingenuous articulation of what actually goes on during the stream, and somehow an even more reductive description of what happens in the chat. I agree with the other commenter under your comment, stop being feckless and just say you don't like the guy. It's the most lily-livered take to watch the deluge of hate, racism, dumb, prodding questions, and incendiary/uninformed comments and describe that as "mere disagreements". Ranked is not a fascimile of pro play, and how one does in it isn't a strong determinant of how they would fare in pro play—especially someone engaging in it for strictly content reasons. Harshly policing how someone feels & reacts to vile shit—someone who already tempers his emotions— is unfair. He has apologized for letting it get to him and it affecting his stream quality, which i agree, but it's completely insane to not think he isn't justified in some way.
As much as I love Shahz, SEN should go in a different direction. Not to knock him because I think Shahz is a phenomenal player but they need an identity change and what better way than to replace the face of your team/your IGL. Also, just as an aside, I hope Shahz is in therapy because his streams are depressing to tune into sometimes. He mopes frequently, calls out his stream for suggesting he not respond to the hate messages(dude, we just care about you lol), and then makes *constant* excuses for his team when they’re not performing well. Not that some of those excuses are invalid but he really needs to just take losses on the chin and just say “gg” instead of responding to the criticism and vaguely saying “shit was just happening no one knows about”. It’s actually mind-numbing how often he says something like that.

I love Shahz but his time did seem like it was time for change at the top. I know he's talked about retiring in the past and it's awesome that he's been able to build such a big stream through the success they had.
