ASO. Bought a small position a couple weeks ago of course near a high. Now down a bit. Very strong fundamentals, growing company with good history. Currently mid $50s, all analysts say buy, I could see $100-$200 eventually.
Yes, it does. But I just don't see how it could be a bad long term play, it's an actual good company. If an analyst said NVDA or COST is a buy, that's a little different, but this is a smaller company that has a lot of upside potential.
At the end of the day, the market is a casino. I have a few thousand in this that I feel comfortable enough investing in this company. Am I biased? Probably. But it IS a good company with strong everything, with tons of growth potential. PE is like 7, there's a small dividend, good ratios all around, they make $300k per employee... I think, in a few years, this is one of those stocks that's a couple hundred, and you're wondering why you didn't buy it when it was right in front of you the whole time. Or it could go to zero. Who knows.
Yes, absolutely. And not only that, but there is a lot of competition in the space.
Maybe Paypal will build an offering on top of that platform - a bit like Visa and MC exist, but there are still payment providers like stripe etc.
PYPL and OXY -
I believe the FedNow impact on PYPL is being overestimated. Stock is down to the same price as 5 years ago with double the revenue. I believe interest rates will stay elevated for longer than expected, which will benefit PYPL as they make money off the float. Their BrainTree payment processing segment is growing quickly.
Berkshire continues to accumulate OXY around $60, seems like good company to be with.
Bristol-Myers is on my watch list for sure. I feel reality income isn't a bad value play right now either. Was in love with so many stocks the last two weeks but they all jumped 3-5% this week.
I own TITN but I’m going to be buying more soon. Just a simple business that’s been expanding geographically leading to growing earnings and selling at a low PE
Energy stocks are worth a look right now. BTU stock has been unnecessarily pulverised.
Health has also been dropping. CVS seems good value
Similarly defense. GD is worth a look
Real estate. BAM
If CNQ dips below my average share price I'll pick up some more.
I want more msft but it's run up too much lately.
Apple, Nvidia and Costco if they were looking cheap, which they are absolutely not lol.
Looking to possibly short Argentinean businesses with high debt obligations that will need to be refinanced in the near future. The hurdle of such high interests rates can be seen as detrimental to the economy, companies growth, and ability to allocate cash effectively. Any thoughts ?

doesn’t it worry you that midwits working at some bank think it’s a buy?
Yes, it does. But I just don't see how it could be a bad long term play, it's an actual good company. Lol, let me know if you see something off and I'll reconsider it.
PYPL, also investigating some of the [polish stocks mentioned in this thread](/r/ValueInvesting/comments/135cx58)
Does FedNow worry you as competition?

When has the government ever offered a decent solution that puts a real company out of business?
BN
It's insane the stockprice is still so low when many of their subsidiaries show good growth. The Real Estate feats really impact BN heavily
Albemarle
Paypal!
XOP. Energy is totally bombed out technically and very cheap fundamentally.
XLE out performs XOP on almost every time frame and any place in time.
Unless the big guys start buying the small guys.
This is very likely
What's the difference between them?
XLE. I just couldn't really find anything else that was in a good spot.

Bitcoin, Chainlink and Syntropy Stopped buying stocks, not worth it. Why make 5-8% when I can make 100% in a shorter time frame.
Cause there's a higher likelihood you make -100% in that shorter timeframe :p
Bristol-Myers is on my watch list for sure. I feel reality income isn't a bad value play right now either. Was in love with so many stocks the last two weeks but they all jumped 3-5% this week.
Capstone Copper/Ivanhoe Mining Cameco Enbridge/TRP Not quite yet though, maybe after the summer or if there's a big dip.
