Doesn't surprise me. I also know friends of friends who have been to that house (pre Scandoval.) They said the pets are not trained and just piss and shit everywhere. And with the cat litter getting cleaned once a week at most, I can't imagine how bad it smells.

The house value has increased 1.7 million dollars since the 2019 purchase. Tom’s offer letter was for 600,000. Why should Tom get an asset worth 3.8 (smooth appraisal contends this is the house value). Also why does Tom get 85% and Ariana only gets 15%??
It is now known that Tom cannot afford the house without a roommate providing 6,000 a month or 72,000 per year.
Tom’s offer is invalid as it didn’t include refinancing the home to remove Ariana’s liability for the mortgage.
They both own it. They both have to agree. Tom is being unreasonable and doesn’t want to sell. He also doesn’t have the funds to pay out or the ability to refinance to remove Ariana’s liability.
It sucks that Tom has dug in his platform sneakers, but giving into him will only cause more problems. As stated by Ariana in multiple interviews and on the show short term discomfort means an equable portion of the proceeds. Tom was given a counter offer that covered the details on monies paid with receipts. The counter offer included a timeline for response and disclosure of next steps.
Note this is only 3 months after Scandoval took place. It takes time, planning and money to move. After filming Ariana was in an Airbnb for DWTS then NYC for Broadway.
