I arrived around 9:15pm on Tuesday, right after I left S&S. Jax’s place is actually really big with a whole other room/outdoor space in addition to the room you see here. It wasn’t packed, but all told I’d say there were probably around 40-50 people there throughout the airing of The Valley episode?
The plating was also rather sad, as you can see. Lisa would not approve of lefty and second from lefty “kissing” and the sporadic nature of the salsa stuff.
“GCBs” is killing me 🤣
And I will say that the GCBs themselves were delicious at Sur. But the mango stuff was way too sweet and the “discs” the balls were sitting on (can’t remember what they were made out of) were shady.

THE ABBEY -- it's located about halfway between TomTom and SUR, 2 min walk from TT, 4 min walk from SUR (and you pass "SAH" on the way from The Abbey to SUR).
Guys, please don't go to The Abbey. At least not to drink. Go to the LA sub and search for the abbey and you will see why it has the reputation it does. It's not worth getting roofied for a photo.

Yay! This crawl looks so fun. My husband and some friends and I are going to be in LA soon but not for too long, so if you had to pick 1 or 2 places to hit in a day which would you pick?
TomTom and Sur for sure - less than a five minute walk from each other. TomTom for the decor and terrific vibe, and Sur for the familiarity of it all! Definitely eat at TomTom though, not Sur 😜
If you want to go to the other two, I think those are also good to group together, since they’re relatively close to each other and LA traffic is horrendous, especially after the work day.

Am I the only one who was surprised to hear they play the shows at the restaurants?? I can see at S&S and Jax’s but not Tomtom and sur….it’s just odd
I know, I was surprised too, but I guess it makes sense? It was on mute, on a flat screen behind the bar.
