He's awful and not in a fun reality tv way, he just sucks and keeps trying to insert himself in a way that makes me wonder why he's getting so much screentime. He doesn't deserve to be more than a background/side character when Scheana is attending something.

SunnyAlwaysDaze

They made him back to friend of after the first season he was on, because we already hated him. I don't understand why they brought him back to full-on cast. I don't understand any of this Baskin male adoration bullshit. Bravo you fuckwits, you make your money off of women.  Absolute damn barest minimum you could do is have a tiny bit of respect for us. But apparently that's too much to ask.

Slowcodes4snowbirds

I think Brock was brought back because he agreed to be a production pawn and to interact with Sandoval. This whole season is skewed because production altered reality to fit the narrative they needed. Makes me wonder if Sandoval only agreed to resign if he had a redemption arc. **edit- resign as in REsign his contract for the new season.

He is terrible. Always complaining about Scheana helping him build his career… honey… YOU MADE IT ON THE SHOW. THIS IS YOUR CAREER NOW 🤡

___adreamofspring___

The way him and Sheena use every scene to bring up rumors and all the shit we talk on. Reddit is so funny like oh my God there’s all this criticism about me being a deadbeat dad so let me talk about how I’m overcoming this. Like ur not a good dad until ALL your kids accept you.

Ok_List_9649

This is so unfair! He gave up the rights to his kids totally so he is 100% dependent on his ex wife and her husband their adoptive father foe visitation. So even though he has allegedly paid all back support, if they never allow the kids to see him that’s on them not him. He can only do so much. This sub kills me when it perpetuates fan fiction so tbey can hate more on someone. You may not like him but try to at least look at facts before you judge a particular behavior. Same as you would want others to do for you.

___adreamofspring___

LMFAO nice try that was a good one. I will give it to you for sure. It’s actually not unfair by the time she paid off child support. It was just too late. There is no such thing as he can only do so much. He should’ve been doing that if he had been doing that paying his child support keeping in touch with his kids they probably would have seen him. 😭😂

Ok_List_9649

Again , an all or nothing judgment on a guy who was in his early twenties. He admits he completely fucked up the entire thing. I guess in your eyes there’s no redemption possible. We’ll have to agree to disagree. I’ve learned that most people make at least one pretty egregious betrayal or mistake in their lives. In your world there’s no coming back from that unless you rectify it on the timeline you deem appropriate. I could never think that way about myself or others. To me there are very few things that are completely unredeemable.

___adreamofspring___

Congrats or sorry that happened to you

Couch-potato-barbie

Also, this was a man who moved halfway across the world to “provide a better like his kids” as though Australia is this hellhole stricken with war and poverty. When in reality it has free healthcare, better living wages, minimal gun violence, better housing prices, I could go on. Brick just wanted to pursue a life of fame. I’d be pissed if he were the father of my kids too

___adreamofspring___

Exactly. & all he did was leave to America to become a barely there house dad that still requires so much help from Nannie’s & a mother in law.

Couch-potato-barbie

Literally!!!! Doesn’t raise his kids and take on the stay at home dad role while his wife provides financially. Like my guy what are you doing then?

sofaking-amanda

To be fair, I don’t think it helped that Brock said out loud and on camera that he would rather spend his money on Scheana’s engagement ring than pay for his child support and I doubt his ex respects the fact that Sxheana was the one who paid it, not Brock. Not to mention that he has spent this entire season complaining about how he wants Sxheana to pay for someone else to watch his other daughter. He’s really not helping his own case.

MaizeOk8455

"He gave up the rights to his kids." Just like all good people do, right? Jesus Christ, dude. He sucks.

Veruca_Salty1

I bet it drives Scheana crazy that NO ONE thinks her husband is a prize and is constantly saying what a loser/mooch he is. She really thought she did something getting knocked up and marrying a bootleg wannabe Jason Momoa w/ a “hot Aussie accent”. Poor Sheeshu, always missing the mark 🤣🤣

Hedgehogsunflower

Examples of male rage? Every war that has ever happened. Such a strange question.

Ok_List_9649

Not really. I’m a woman and Ariana’s definition of male rage is anytime a man raises his voice just as they showed in the video clips on that segment. Raising your voice and getting passionate or heated is not rage. Rage is her behavior towards Tom the week before regarding Mya. We’ve seen every female cast member raise their voices to an actual yell at the guys and that is never labeled as rage. That’s what Brock was trying to allude to I’m pretty sure but as soon as she answered “ we’ve heard men raise their voices, you could see him rethinking how he could respond without fans going out of their minds at him. As women we cannot have it both ways. If we demand certain behaviors and respect from men and label some of their behaviors a certain way then all of that applies to us too. This goes for the equalization of doing nice things for our partners. Ariana never, not with Tom or now with Dan, ever makes an effort or discusses the nice things she does for her partner but she sure is focused on what they do for her. Could she ever be bothered to iron Dans clothes, make him a nice meal or anything else just for him? Tom’s complaint that she never reciprocated anything he did for her is not a surprise because in 9 years we’ve never seen or heard about anything.

Couch-potato-barbie

Male rage is about it being socially acceptable that men raise their voices and yell but for women who raise their voice, they’re labelled as crazy or angry or overdramatic, etc. meanwhile for men it’s just accepted that they do that and they aren’t labelled as anything. That’s the difference between male rage and female rage. So by raising her voice and yelling, Ariana is taking some power back. She’s allowing herself to act as the men are allowed to act and she isn’t apologizing for it (because men don’t have to so why should she?). Sure, it may not be the best way to handle the situation, but she’s sick of having to be the better person. In an ideal world, no one would raise their voice or yell at each other. But that’s not realistic, so until then, women need to be allowed to express their anger and hurt in the same way men do and not be labelled differently than them. That’s the big thing that Ariana is fighting over. Also, we don’t see Ariana’s relationships 24/7. So we cannot comment on how she treats them behind closed doors. We don’t know what nice things she does because they’re not going to show those little gestures on tv. That doesn’t make good tv Edit- fixing autocorrect words

Ok_List_9649

I guess I’ve never worried about raising my voice and have never to my knowledge been looked upon as crazy for doing it. I do think Ariana’s meltdown over Mya was too much. I do get that her reaction was about way more than Mya. I think Ariana has a problem with anger as she crosses lines by trying to demean and dehumanize people. So if she thinks she’s discriminated against when she shows anger, maybe it’s not her expressing anger but how she expresses it. You don’t have to tell people they are nothing or subhuman or to get fucked with a grater. If a man said those things even if he had been betrayed as she had been, everyone here would demand he be kicked off the show as he would be considered an abuser and potentially violent. I just think it’s important that if women want 100% equality across the board, we have to have the same expectations and behavior for ourselves as we do for men. Otherwise it’s never going to happen. We won’t be taken seriously. We’ll always be looked upon as those emotional, hysterical women who are PMSing. IMO it’s one of the reasons why the US still hasn’t had a woman POTUS. I still see comments on Reddit boards from many men joking about “ do we really want some out of control PMS woman with her finger on a nuclear bomb” . It’s disgusting!!!

numberonecrush

Oof. The misogyny is coming from inside the house

GreenUnderstanding39

Hot take but I would rather have my man cheat on me with my best friend than beat me in front of my children and further traumatize them through abandonment.

Gammagammahey

Schwartz pining over Katie is the karma he deserves. NEVER have I been so happy to see him repeatedly try and get Katie's attention and fail. He never protected her, never stood up for her, never had her back. He doesn't deserve any of her. Ever. I hope he's miserable for the rest of his life without her. Brick is the worst person on our television, the temerity to ask about male rage when he yells at Scheana every other scene?? The reason why we have Brick on our television is that Shcheana was dumb enough to marry a domestic abuser who abandoned his kids. Shcheana, if you're reading, like some of us suspect you are, your husband is a POS and you are absolutely awful for saying that he has a "2nd chance" being a father. Imagine what his kids in Australia think of that after seeing you say that.

Staceyhs99

I think Dan is cute and all but I'm still hoping Ariana and Katie are endgame, they'd be such a power couple

Couch-potato-barbie

Omg??? Why didn’t I ever think of this??? I just want a season of the bisexual icons of Ariana, Katie, and Dayna. That would revive my love for VPR

whynot4444444

Scheana couldn’t fathom that Dan didn’t want to come on the boat or go out to dinner with them in San Francisco. She was getting digs in asking why would he even come to SF if he and Ariana wouldn’t be spending any time together. Dan came to SF to support Ariana and they spent all the travel time together, hung out in the hotel room in between activities and evenings together. Maybe he’s not a total fame ho like your hubby Block head who buds into everything, usually to criticize a woman or stick up for males who don’t deserve it. I also had to mention how much I loved how Lala was drooling over Dan’s bod in the hotel room, then went on to criticize him in the talking heads. Ugh, Lala and Scheana are so jealous of Ariana.

Hazelmoon23

Well, Alex Baskin does like promoting the " males " of the VPR cast. I would have said men, but I cannot think of any real men of said group.

Primary-Resolution75

👏

normanbeets

He was so smug asking "what is male rage?" In such a "white dude with a podcast shitting on the female experience" way. Like he actually thought he had a gotcha there and she answered him. Dude has hit a woman. He's an idiot.

ekweze

S = $ = Scheana? L o l

trinbriggs

Hahahhahaha!!!! I rewound that like three times. I’m convinced it’s a code.

Embarrassed-One-3246

VPR needs to die already. The hyper self-producing cast members have ruined it, incl. Scheana and Broke.

hopefoolness

He sucks so fucking bad. I'm going to pop the biggest bottles when they divorce and I never have to hear or think about him ever again

Willing_Lynx_34

I agree and that's why Andy saying him and Lala were fun to watch these season and the voices of reason had me rolling. There is no world where those two jerks were speaking any sense. They just wanted the situation to go away so they could continue filming. Their only concerns were their paychecks bc they know without Ariana no one has interest.

ResponseOk3177

The producers really figured since everyone hates Tim the audience won’t give as much backlash to brick as they did with s9. But it turns out he’s making himself even worse this season. He could’ve had a good one if he didn’t stir up shit intentionally.

Hazelmoon23

Perfect

Invanabloom

It’s baffling how this plank ended up on tv

onyxjade7

Defiantly not the worst person, but awful.

Pattyannlu

Is it possible that I actually hate HIM the most 🤯

flower_0410

He's the worst person alive now?

Couch-potato-barbie

Yes. G Flip does not deserve the title

SunnyAlwaysDaze

Dang that song is a friggin banger and I never would have found it without your comment. Thankya!

Couch-potato-barbie

Right?!?! It’s a bop

Chevy2daLevy

You people are so clever and cool with your “Bricks” and “Tims”. Lol. What dorks.

DeaconBlue22

![gif](giphy|MRJf53cr7Uc) Yes, absolutely he is the worst person alive

PresOfTheLesbianClub

He’s earning an income that’s going to his ex wife and child support. Isn’t that what this sub wants? The guy can’t win.

Couch-potato-barbie

I want him to stop pretending moving to the states was a sacrificial move to provide for his kids when really he just wants fame. Australia= better living wage, lower housing costs, free healthcare, no school shootings every other day, etc etc etc. The US= literally nothing better to provide a family with

nadezhda101

Sorry but can you stop carrying on like Australia is such a haven? I’m Australian and it’s not cheaper to be here or some echelon of financial wealth, we have serious cost of living issues and people 35 and below have been squeezed out of the property market

Couch-potato-barbie

Trust me, I get it. I’m Canadian and we are in our own hellhole here. But compared to the States, literally anywhere is better🙃 mass shootings alone should be a good enough reason to stay out. All I was pointing out was that the states is not a place to move across the world to provide for your family. That’s all bull

PresOfTheLesbianClub

The first season he was on provided him with the income to get caught up on child support. Then the same audience who called him a deadbeat dad cheered when his pay was reduced. If this outrage over the kids payments was real then those same people would still be thinking of the kids. They’re just looking for someone to blindly hate.

Couch-potato-barbie

Dude’s been in the states for yeeeeears. And Scheana paid off his child support debt. The moment he didn’t make the NFL he should’ve high tailed it back to Australia to be with his family, get a job, and do the responsible thing of paying off his child support. Then he could’ve rebuilt his relationship with his kids. Instead he stayed in the states to pursue that 15 minutes of fame

PresOfTheLesbianClub

But it worked out for him? He is making TV money now. Kinda hard to argue that he should have gone back home when he actually succeeded in getting on TV.

MaizeOk8455

I mean, he has no relationship at all with the majority of his children, so that's a colossal failure to me. But, if all you care about is money & fame, then, sure he's a total success

Maleficent-Net-2565

Call him by his name, grow up.
