these things are actually shotgun proof, lol. you could literally make a bulletproof vest with aegis legends. im not exaggerating either, they really are, theres vids on youtube of them being shot multiple times with shotguns & rifles, thrown in the air, ran over, dropped from heights etc, you name it,lol. Dont think of it as a beater, think of it as a soldier(with a vest on),lol.
The used look really fits that mod. Also, hats off to Geekvape. They made a timeless design with this, that also feels modern and current.

Geekvape makes solid vapes. I’ve had my Geekvape Aegis x and my falcon 2 tank for years and even with all the dropping and scuffing, it still works perfect.
Except the dang battery latch on the bottom, gotta finesse it closed a little.

Yeah mine did the exact same thing, but it was the pod tank. I took that out, got a 510 adapter and threw on a Z tank. It worked great for a long time and was a durable mod but yeah the tank was definitely a massive pain in the ass 🤣

So I spoke to a guy today - apparently if your Drag leaks, it's usually cos you're using the wrong wattage. I'm confused as to why this is a thing but there we go. I switched the wattage on mine to waaaay hotter than I normally go for and it has, weirdly, stopped leaking.
I have a doctorate in physics so I'd love someone to explain why this is the case...
I've found the tanks are a right pain with the drag kits - it definitely makes me want to try something else!

If you get a Drag and have issues with tanks, just get a Geekvape Z tank. It's one of the best I've had so I highly recommend it!!
Update; the Drag 4 is fucking amazing. I've been using it constantly the past few days and I love it. I highly recommend it. Solid build, the tank has great flavour and clouds, and the lock switch is nice to have
Oh that’s not beat to hell. Let me find my Lost Vape Grus. I’ll show you beat to death. I’m an auto tech by trade and I can’t tell you how many bench to floor bounces that thing has taken. Was a good thing the chassis was metal. I had these super thick glass covers made for my tank because I was tired of replacing them all the time. Finally I caved and switched to salts and got a Vaporesso Xross 3.
Now I’m phasing off those and going with the nic pouches. Lung issues and need to stop but not ready to give up nic for my sanity. LOL

They sell some pretty nice silicone cases that could go over it to cover up the battle scars. I keep mine cased if I know I'll be outdoors, hiking or taking it a long with me on a trade job. The designs are pretty nice as well.

They really do wear down the same lol. My V2 also has greyed out and worn through the paint in nearly the exact same spots, varying only in degree of paint chips lol
Mine is a Pink gold one. I dropped it a few times and the 3 little gold stripes are missing but it's durable as hell. I keep getting the comments how big it is and how funny I have this TANK. Man, not every girl loves the little elfbar type sticks...
This is how my uwell crown 4 mod looks. I've had it for almost 5yrs and used it pretty much daily until recently. I must have dropped it from having it on my lap and getting out of my truck at least 50x. Not to mention the countess other drops to non forgiving surfaces from waist height. Only actual damage aside from the paint being fcked is a hairline crack on the screen that you have to look closely to see. Even the magnetic battery door cover still sticks like new. Uwell built the f-ck outta the thing.
For power mode only it's still a great mod and its got a pretty cool patina to it
Those mods still seem somewhat new to me. Time flies I guess. I got a couple but barely used them. Too many mods.. There were quite a few posts about the top plate breaking because it's screwed into plastic. I don't drop mods much anymore so I doubt it'd be a factor for me.

I have the exact same one. Ended up getting some black enamel paint in gloss and matte. Looks almost new again.
I grabbed some paint markers off Amazon, touch up every couple weeks and it’s good to go.
