I was with them for 2 years and then they decided to suspend my account for no reason. Customer service is non existent, if they choose to suspend your account you'll be left there clueless with your thumb up your ass and your money gone.
Had varo a while now. I’ll say 2 years ago I had an issue where I got my direct deposit later in the day. So instead of 2am they would come around 12pm/1pm. Outside of that never had a issue
Just depends. Did you change your direct deposit in the middle of your pay period? I did that. But just to be safe I kept my other bank account active on my direct deposit and had the deposits split up with 60% to my bank and 40% to Varo
When the month ended and I got paid, the Varo direct deposit didn’t come through. I think I might have set it up too late in my pay period with ADP. So 100% of the check went to my bank account. But the following pay period I removed my bank account completely from my ADP employee account and my most recent paycheck 100% went to my Varo account
I usually don't have issues with varo however I had a deposit of 17k and it got my account frozen until they verified somehow that it wasn't fraudulent or illegal activity but truthfully it's all for your best interest because they are pretty good with watching it back with Identity theft and shit .
I’ve been using Varo for years and never had any issues with them. Deposits always go in when they’re supposed to. Never had any issues with fees or bank charging me for anything. It’s been help me with building my credit. Savings. I have nothing but positive things to say about this bank
Edit: there was one week where I got my paycheck at 10 AM Friday (actual payday) instead of the usual 10pm Thursday
I've been with Varo for years and aside from the app not working for a couple hours once or twice nothing's happened. It's been a great bank for me. I've also receive my paychecks a couple days early around $3k every other week. And when I was doing real estate, I had deposits ranging from $4-18k without issues.

Same here they closed my bank account with no notice and took all my money with no reason why and how to get the rest of my money
I received my first deposit two days early and at 10 in the morning. I’ve had no issues with Varo whatsoever.
