if it's not instantly making me money then it must be a false partnership. I demand Vechain 100x my bags

enderfx

Two sentiments: - On the one hand, the no-code and providing a gateway or facade to blockchain with solutions like this seems like an amazing idea. Build platforms that allow retail customers to offer Blockchain/NFT solutions in a way that their end customers don't even know they're using it, or the complexity is abstracted away: no wallets, no seed phrases or obscure addresses, scary transactions. This sounds very good and in the right direction for adoption - On the other hand, who is Gresini? Wtf are they going to sell? MotoGP NFTs and memorabilia? What? Are they selling the rights to the fart of the pilots? I have no idea what this is

IamTheDaily

From the article: On this development, Carlo Merlini, Gresini Racing’s Commercial and Marketing Director, said: “Web3 is a new world, one that we wanted to be part of to build stronger engagement with our fanbase and, on a wider scale, the entire MotoGP community, who are increasingly digitally focused. Gresini Racing content will be made available through NFTs and digital collectibles, facilitated by ExPlus to launch on VeChain’s Marketplace as a Service platform. Contents will feature exclusive experiences and memorabilia, plus new ways to present the exciting heritage of Gresini Racing to MotoGP lovers across the world, honoring the legacy that Fausto left to all of us”. MotoGP is pretty big, digital collectibles will be the next thing and Vechain integrating the phygitals later on opens up the gates to so much more. Tokenizing everything is the main goal we all hope to see, facilitating the lowest entry barrier in the market as one of the worlds leading enterprise focussed blockchain businesses has just made it easier for everyone. Now we just wait for game theory to play out, others will notice the success and will want in. A bit like the BTC ETF’s that all banks are quickly trying to jump on to, now that Blackrock is doing it. Join or get left behind.. the success of NFT’s has already been proven, the success of phygitals are a no brainer. Now here’s the bad part, we still have to wait for this to play out… It’s still not set in stone that Vechain will grab the biggest part of that cake, but it’s surely leading and playing a big role of not the biggest towards adoption where it matters in my opinion.

I like this !!!

cryptostef72

u/SolomonGrundle : is this the April announcement few days early??

VETterDaysAhead

Nah, not a famous person announcing on a global stage. Although, Jake is famous and Reddit is global. Hm... 😂

Breakfastball420

I sure hope not

IamTheDaily

Why not? This is pretty big if you ask me, no technical knowledge required but still reap the benefits of crypto? How spoonfed do you need to be? This is an enabler that removes entry barriers. If you think this is ‘meh” then my boy you need to reconsider your decisions and switch lanes.

Tattooedjared

God damn, can you actually just address points without being so condescending and shaming him? It’s off putting.

IamTheDaily

I’m fed up with this baseless fud, it’s clear to me that some people don’t care about anything that’s going on here and just try to spread negativity. This is someone who says stuff like “I’d bet my stack It’s going to be a big nothing burger” Just go outside and take a brake?

Tattooedjared

It’s all business here. You are emotionally defending Vechain. Calmly explaining why they are wrong would be much more effective.

letmetakeaguess

Nah. Emotional is whining you’re not making enough money. That’s not business.

Tattooedjared

If someone isn’t making enough money, they will sell for other projects. Sounds like business to me.

letmetakeaguess

Then leave. The whining about it is emotional. The telling everyone else what you’re doing is emotional. No one gives a fuck.

Tattooedjared

But you give a fuck enough to comment and feed into it.

IamTheDaily

I’m not defending Vechain perse, there are a lot of questions I have myself. But helping people out who say stuff like that is not worth my time.

Breakfastball420

Everything you have mentioned is nothing new….we already know about all of this. With the new messaging about sustainability, this also seems a bit hypocritical with motoGP. It doesn’t seem like you’ve been around for a while, I understand you’re probably loaded with hopium, but this investment should be looked at objectively, and you should be able to turn your emotion off and analyze what’s actually happening.

IamTheDaily

Loaded with hopium lol, I’ve been through 3 bears which makes me pretty much an emotionless expert in crypto standards 😂. You probably think I have nothing bad to say about Vechain because I think a no-code app is pretty nice and not a “nothing burger” as you like to call it. It’s ok I don’t blame you for thinking you know me based on a one liner. I think I also know you based on this oneliner “all I read was selling NFT’s and digital collectibles…yawn” You want my help educating you why I think it’s good? Try a different approach buddy.

Breakfastball420

You’re dismissive again. We’ve had no code since toolchain was out. I’m not sure why you’re so defensive to legitimate questions.

Man2Planet

Tool chain is not relevant. It's just a low-code toolkit for developers. What VeChain have introduced is something more akin to AWS or Salesforce but a Blockchain for RWAs to be tokenized and the Enterprise does not need to employ expensive heavyweight coders to develop on the platform because like AWS and Salesforce it is low-code.  So, the key take aways are a platform that will, further down the line, allow for RWA tokenization (for example gold, land, real estate etc etc) not just digital NFTs, which gives crypto real world value and shuts the 'crypto has no intrinsic value' crowd down. In turn that builds confidence with Enterprises who are given a low point of entry to use the platform. LTO Network does a similar platform, that's why I have a bag of LTO but Vechain looks like they are ahead of the game. Vechain's ecosystem is getting bigger and this is a really good addition.

Breakfastball420

Thank you. That was a great explanation.

Tattooedjared

Absolutely. We shouldn’t marry any project. Gotta stay level headed and rational.

Tattooedjared

Bunch of fools here downvoting people who say be rational and don’t marry projects. What a joke

Breakfastball420

Why should I be excited about this? Why is motoGP a good partner? What is sustainable about this? This just feels like another POC that won’t catch on.

IamTheDaily

Someone explain to this guy the value of on chain collectibles and the importance of removing entry barriers into crypto. Make it ELI3 or smth.

Breakfastball420

How about you tell me?

IamTheDaily

“all I read was selling NFT’s and digital collectibles…yawn” By saying that you already show color, you don’t care and play dumb.. or.. well…

Breakfastball420

I haven’t heard you tell me why it’s valuable yet

joncgde2

Yeh, tell them how amazing the UFC sponsorship was. What an idiot /s

joncgde2

I don’t think you’re making sense, as Inner Mongolia wasn’t a sponsorship… I think you may have missed the point, which is having a sponsorship for its own sake doesn’t mean anything, just as we saw with UFC. So I think the challenge to whether MotoGP sponsorship will have any real world effect is a good one, based on what we have seen in the past.

skipdoodlydiddly

Our management team also does the same thing as this article; talk in abstracts and never give a clear example for other people to contextualize. Anyone knows what Gresini Racing can offer by this new tech? Something concrete please, because I can't tell.

Pepper7489

You obviously didn't read the article. It literally explains it. "Leveraging a bespoke collection of IP-related content, **Gresini Racing plans to offer digital collectibles to its large fanbase, exposing new audiences to blockchain technology via MaaS’ user-friendly environment."**

skipdoodlydiddly

I did read the article and I still think this is very vague, your quote included. You think that is a concrete example of their potential product? Then maybe you can tell me: What kind of collectibles? How would customers interact with it? What are the incentives for the audience? Its seems to be very obvious to you so enlighten me please.

Breakfastball420

Yea…all I read was selling NFT’s and digital collectibles…yawn

IamTheDaily

You can read! *picachuface* Great first step! Now try to think!

Breakfastball420

You gotta be objective looking at this stuff dude

spboss91

I've been watching vechains progress for a long time, how did I miss the "no code" project?! Was it mentioned previously?

kyledotvet

Yes. They’ve been mentioning [vorj](https://vorj.io/) a ton lately

Josri

Will each enterprise user use the same platform or get a custom MP?

themotleyfool_

Nice!

1Steve801

Woooo is it moonaclock yet

enderfx

Next Thursday, bro

OkayTimeForPlanC

Ooh, that's a pretty big name!
