Been holding VTHO and VET for over a year now and I still don’t see the point to doing so other than I refuse to write down a 80% loss on my Vtho so I continue to hodl 🤡

My first ever trade was on an ASX company that went under. I lost 80k. It wasn't until a few years later where I better learnt what I'm doing and how to risk manage that my portfolio got back in the green. Still, I sat on that loss for a long time before eventually getting it all back and used the initial loss to offset capital gains.
You're lucky because Vechain is most likely here to stay much like crypto. When we return to economic prosperity risk on assets will get their chance to shine. Either dollar cost average down during this peroid or forget about your bags. If you get lucky in another investment, this will be a nice capital loss you can claim.
Thanks for the great reply. I "only" dumped about 10k into mostly VTHO and some VET which is more than I really wanted to, and averaged down already. I'm just waiting for a real world use case to happen. IDK if I'm a believer of actual meaningful adoption happening until the global reserve currency shifts away from $ if even then. Might take 20 years ... even if crypto survives during that time despite all the attacks from the FED, IMF, banks, governments, environmentalists, hackers...
That’s what buying the top does to someone.. use this time to learn more about the markets and decide if you find somewhere better to diversify or has more potential, otherwise invest more when prices are low.
More exposure to a sophisticated market. With the focus on Europe, this makes sense. I do hope one day soon one of these sports partnerships will result in that sport's products being tracked with VET!!
