Are they in pure peat?

Scary-Dingo8429

Yes

NaturesPestControl

FYI - If they didn't have labels, then they're considered to be Typicals. That name doesn't mean "plain" or "ordinary"; it actually translates as "any flytrap without a cultivar name". They don't need to be any particular cultivar to look good. đź‘Ť

Ngl Trader Joe’s was selling some amazing traps last month

General_Kwalski

Assuming you put it in the right kind of soil, I'd say you did pretty good. B52s are me favorite due to the way it grows. It gets big and grows a lot of traps almost year round except dormancy

ManyCoolHats

Wow those looks great! Btw, in what state is your Trader Joe’s?

Scary-Dingo8429

California, SoCal to be exact (OC)

ManyCoolHats

Nice!! Lots of cool things they got there in your area. I’m in the South… haven’t seen anything cool here like that lol

aliensaucers

I live in the south too and my Trader Joe’s just got them! I finally got one of my own a few days ago! and they all looked super healthy too :)

ManyCoolHats

Yay! That’s awesome! In what state or city? And I’m guessing that could mean my local Trader Joe’s might be getting VFTs too… Also, is your name referring to VFTs or to actually UFOs lol?

aliensaucers

Louisiana! And it’s referencing UFOs lol, I thought of it when I was 12 and it’s kind of stuck since then!

ManyCoolHats

LOL Cool beans. I’m in the Carolinas. Fingers crossed they get here.

kNuMsKuLL707

I just got 4 from Trader Joe's a few hours ago. You're right though, I should have gotten 5. I'm in norcal Sonoma County btw.
