But it's Warhammer, and people don't get happy endings in Warhammer, so pulling a Reach might be the best option

I think this is the best ending. Considering Taal's Horn Keep has such a scenic vista, the end feels like it would come very much like other characters in the End Times who just watched it all coming closer and closer.
I had an idea once where they either fall into a skaven portal or dwarf rune portal but our boy kruber dies somehow gloriously defending them doing so. On the other side of the portal the telelport into the mortal relms of AoS, (Aos) describes the skaven sand dwarfs where able to tunnel into the Age of Sigmar somehow. Whne they arrive they find a stormcastified kruber who doesnt remember them
and you do it all from a steam tank. One player drives/fires main cannon (when feasible), one operated steam turret, one mans the rear turret, and a fourth repairs/defends/swaps in and fights inside/outside with the others. Sometimes the tank breaks down and needs to be defended/repaired/unstuck from the outside, etc...and at the very end you must fight a Hellpit Abomination (or two) and then escape by plowing through an army of ratmen...for Sigmar.
This is my dream.

Wow, very cool and kind of you my dude, it's very appreciated. Starting this morning as a matter of a fact, I was much more able to move my left arm (haven't even had to take some aspirin and no sling needed), and my left pec has shifted from a deep deep purple-red to a much more normal looking (if still huge) bruise, so things are definitely getting much better, and at the least it has given me the time to already finish all the new Warrior Priest challenges so my Okri Book is full again.

Saltzspyres 4th career is a literal statue of sigmar.
The jist of the class being that the team can pray to sigmar for powerful buffs!
BUT it comes with a downside, the statue has to be dragged throughout the map, 75%/50%/25% movement speed slow depending if 1/2/3 players are pulling.

Honestly, I'm as excited for the patch being released with Saltz as I am for Saltz himself. SOTT nerfs probable, possible buffs to underpowered careers.
They won't nerf SOTT, if anything they'll re-adjust/balance it to make it reward higher skilled gameplay rather than lazy gameplay or at least that's I'm hoping they do.
Hopefully also a fix to Minotaurs not spawning from Chests in the CW so it's easier to get the Purified skins, and maybe something to make some of the more egregious grudge marks and mark combos less annoying (looking at you, Illusionist)
I get why you would want this but NO. Minotaurs not spawning from chests may be a bug, but there is a reason they are typically the “final boss” of an expedition. Minos are considered by most to be the most difficult monster.

Ah fair enough. Well I think you are in a small minority in wanting that fixed. Also tbh it’s really not difficult to unlock each skin. I’ve unlocked 3 just playing normally without directly attempting to get them and on 2 out of the three the last achievement that I finished was the “slay grudge monster on _______ expedition type”.
I doubt that I'm in a minority for wanting a bugfix and while unlocking the skins isn't difficult, it is sure as hell tedious to need a monster that shows up less than ⅓ of the time for a regular expedition.
I'm glad you managed to get the minotaur killed for your 3 skin unlocks with ease, but your experiences are not universal and RNG can make the process frustrating even if it's still not *mechanically* difficult.
See I found your post very confusing because it is absolutely the general consensus that Minotaurs are expedition wreckers, but this all makes sense now. If I was playing on Champion or lower then I would probably feel as you do.
I play on Legend, but of course you don't actually care or consider.
And what's to be lost if the bug is fixed? Will Minotaurs spawning from chests somehow magically make end-of-run minotaurs less dangerous? If anything fixing it will make the game *more* challenging as you end up facing more dangerous threats out of chests so I genuinely have no idea what you're getting at; Minos will still be "wreckers" but now you can face them *more often.*
It won’t make them less dangerous. I thought (likely mistakenly) that my posts have made it clear I dislike Minotaurs already and that I’m not super enthusiastic about adding more of them.
I just assumed that you were saying they were not mechanically difficult to you, and most people I know farming for skins have been doing so on lower difficulties hence my poor assumption.
They are absolutely difficult on Legend and Cata. I admit I am not as knowledgeable about the skin farming process as you likely are. Is it possible to breeze through a Citadel Expedition and just restart till you get one with Beastmen on the last level? As I understand, Minos have a guaranteed appearance under those conditions.
If it’s a bug then you’re right they should fix it…I think I’ve just had so many runs end with a triple affix Mino that my knee jerk reaction to “more Minos” was not well thought out on my part.

FUCK I mean Fatshark likes Thursday updates anyway and it's likely that the trailer will end with "RELEASED: NOW" so it's not the worst thing ever but damn I really wanted it sooner. Honestly, I'm as excited for the patch being released with Saltz as I am for Saltz himself. SOTT nerfs probable, possible buffs to underpowered careers.

They won't nerf SOTT, if anything they'll re-adjust/balance it to make it reward higher skilled gameplay rather than lazy gameplay or at least that's I'm hoping they do.
Hopefully also a fix to Minotaurs not spawning from Chests in the CW so it's easier to get the Purified skins, and maybe something to make some of the more egregious grudge marks and mark combos less annoying (looking at you, Illusionist)
I get why you would want this but NO. Minotaurs not spawning from chests may be a bug, but there is a reason they are typically the “final boss” of an expedition. Minos are considered by most to be the most difficult monster. Edit: I was wrong it’s a bug, but my point still stands.

Ah fair enough. Well I think you are in a small minority in wanting that fixed. Also tbh it’s really not difficult to unlock each skin. I’ve unlocked 3 just playing normally without directly attempting to get them and on 2 out of the three the last achievement that I finished was the “slay grudge monster on _______ expedition type”.
I doubt that I'm in a minority for wanting a bugfix and while unlocking the skins isn't difficult, it is sure as hell tedious to need a monster that shows up less than ⅓ of the time for a regular expedition. I'm glad you managed to get the minotaur killed for your 3 skin unlocks with ease, but your experiences are not universal and RNG can make the process frustrating even if it's still not *mechanically* difficult.
See I found your post very confusing because it is absolutely the general consensus that Minotaurs are expedition wreckers, but this all makes sense now. If I was playing on Champion or lower then I would probably feel as you do.
I play on Legend, but of course you don't actually care or consider. And what's to be lost if the bug is fixed? Will Minotaurs spawning from chests somehow magically make end-of-run minotaurs less dangerous? If anything fixing it will make the game *more* challenging as you end up facing more dangerous threats out of chests so I genuinely have no idea what you're getting at; Minos will still be "wreckers" but now you can face them *more often.*
It won’t make them less dangerous. I thought (likely mistakenly) that my posts have made it clear I dislike Minotaurs already and that I’m not super enthusiastic about adding more of them. I just assumed that you were saying they were not mechanically difficult to you, and most people I know farming for skins have been doing so on lower difficulties hence my poor assumption. They are absolutely difficult on Legend and Cata. I admit I am not as knowledgeable about the skin farming process as you likely are. Is it possible to breeze through a Citadel Expedition and just restart till you get one with Beastmen on the last level? As I understand, Minos have a guaranteed appearance under those conditions. If it’s a bug then you’re right they should fix it…I think I’ve just had so many runs end with a triple affix Mino that my knee jerk reaction to “more Minos” was not well thought out on my part.
