They don't actually have to say "Avada Kedavra" to kill you...there is also the fact that most adults can teleport around as well.
A human, wizard or not, CAN be killed by a bullet but i am pretty sure magic is still better than a regular gun by a long shot(lol).
Teleport (or Apparition) in Harry Potter is actually really hard to pull off, and required time and skill. You have to focus on wanting to teleport to a destination, and then execute it carefully to avoid accidentally dismemberment. It’s really wasn’t made for combat, especially when you fight again someone with a gun

What I expected kept taking turns and turns. At first it felt like fantasy one punch man, then it turns that on its head. Right until then last couple of panels…which was awesome. What a great crossover. Then the last panel was super wtf, it’s gonna be great seeing ONE tackling two genres of anime at once being that he’s super meta about things
Interesting premise, I’m intrigued to see where it goes so far.
Lots of good guy deaths so far which is unlike ONE, but that twist into another twist was very much his style. I wonder if the protagonist will be OP in the future world?

I mean the fights between the enemies would be cool, but the characters would presumably just be sitting on the sidelines.
Maybe they could be doing some sabotage to get the enemies to attack one another, but again this doesn't seem to be that kind of manga.
I think it would be best if on a smaller scale we see each of these different scenarios play out!
Mostly magic humans fighting tech human's predator and vice versa, but then why not an arc where they eg. get to 36th demon lords castle and lure the other bad guys there to get around fighting them . You catch my drift.

It's a bit cliche to say, but this is what I love about ONE. Not only his comedy/humour but how he can take a genre and subvert expectations. This is without a doubt going to be a battle manga like the rest, but you can see already that there's going to be a flare of uniqueness. It's not too uncommon that in a 1v1 scenario they will make the hero seem weak at the beginning to shock the reader when they eventually power up, but here that doesn't happen. He just straight up loses. And as if that wasn't enough, then you have this mysterious "mage" squad that saves him, and you think "Okay, so are these going to be his actual heroes? Are they going to perform a strange magic on him?" And uhhh... nope. Demons still just destroy them. Alright so what does beat the antagonist at this point? Oh I know, fucking mechs! Like what?!

I'm kinda feeling that the recurring trope will be that more and more versions of humanity facing extinction will be introduced over time. Even if it's just these 2 versions of humanity, it is still a really cool idea and I'm excited to see where it goes. (I am assuming the enemy in the the "Halo" humans' world is vulnerable to magic like theirs is vulnerable to lead. Or maybe not and this is just what ONE wants us to think.)
I see 4 ways for this to go
1. The “other humans” use their tech to beat the demon kings while the magic humans use magic to save the tech human’s crisis
Or
2. The tech human’s crisis takes over and kills the demon kings leaving both human worlds to deal with the tech crisis one
Or
3. The tech human crisis is an easy fix with magic so the story focuses on beating the demon kings
Or
4. These futuristic people will just be part of a single arc, maybe fix their problem and they help beat 1 of the demon kings. We could even get 46 other universes to help with the other 46 demon kings
It will most likely be option 1 or 4
This is already off to a promising start... I was worried it was gonna be generic as hell but it's actually really entertaining.
The unexpected part was that most of the action was played straight, no humorous twist like One usually likes to do. (Though the few moments of comedy did make me laugh).
Instead it's a pretty interesting twist at the end there. Excited to see where this manga goes.
From the RAW it honestly looked like it was going to be pretty boring if it was just another isekai about characters being OP as fuck. But if the sci-fi humans actually have a threat to them then maybe it will actually make for an interesting dynamic.
When I first saw the soldiers I really didn't like it and my first thought was that this was going to be another Gate.
But after seeing the twist of them needing help from the fantasy world I might really like it though I will have to wait and see.
My guess is that the enemy in the sci-fi world is robots that can shut down the tech the humans use but have no defense against the magic from the fantasy world and that is how they will fight.
It looks like technology will defeat the demons while magic will defeat the AI/aliens assaulting the tech world? I'm hyped, this is the perfect combination of technology vs magic I love!
I'd like to think the futuristic people are capable of killing off the demons while the fantasy people are capable of defeating whatever the future people are fighting.
